Maison au bord du lac avec quai, flotteur de nage et grande cour sur le magnifique lac Champlain. Amarrage disponible. À distance de marche de la ville. Idéal pour une réunion de famille ou pour partager avec une autre famille. La sixième chambre est un studio au sous-sol avec vue sur le lac.

Un poêle à guirlande commercial à 6 brûleurs rend la cuisson pour un grand groupe un plaisir. La grande table de salle à manger à l'intérieur peut accueillir confortablement 12 personnes et, si vous vous asseyez, 17. Dehors, il y a 18 places assises sur le patio en brique.

Belle vue sur le lac depuis le salon et la terrasse. Den peut servir de chambre supplémentaire avec un canapé-lit Q. La chambre principale a un lit queen et des lits jumeaux, la chambre 2 a un lit double et un lit jumeau, la chambre 3 a un lit queen, la chambre 4 a un lit double, la salle de jeux a trois lits jumeaux, une est déployable. Studio de niveau inférieur a une reine et un jumeau, un futon complet et un futon double. Il y a aussi deux grands canapés dans le salon qui ont fourni un espace de couchage supplémentaire en cas de débordement. La salle de jeux a une table de ping-pong. Asseyez-vous sur le pont, détendez-vous et profitez du magnifique lac.

We had a great week with our family group of nine. The kids (and adults) all really enjoyed being right on the water with the dock and raft, swimming, playing on the beach, and paddling the canoe and kayaks. The house itself is older and has some quirks, but has many upgrades and lots of space for a big group to be comfortable. Our week was hot and very humid and the heat pump air conditioning in the four second floor bedrooms made it very comfortable for sleeping. We loved being able to eat our dinners out on the deck and enjoy the view of the lake. With the beautiful setting, the amount of space in the house and grounds, and the number of things to do at the property and the surrounding area, it would be hard to find a better place for a large family vacation.

We had an excellent stay at the beautiful Lake House. The House and location were amazing. Our group of 14 (ages 11 mos to 73) took advantage of the canoe, kayaks, indoor and outdoor games, searching for sea glass treasures and peaceful setting on the deck overlooking the lake.We also enjoyed hiking in the area and exploring the town of Westport. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect to accommodate our large group to sit together for meals and board games. We also enjoyed completing the large jig-saw puzzle on the one rainy day we had.Annie was readily available for any questions, and communication was excellent.Everyone would love to return to make more lasting memories...A

Beautiful location and quiet, comfortable spot for gathering of friends

We had a lovely stay at the Lakeside House in Westport. The rooms were homey and comfortable, there were lots of inviting places to spend time outside, the kitchen was well-outfitted and the proximity to hiking and biking was terrific.

Another Wonderful Stay

This is our 2nd year staying at this rental and it was wonderful. We are a very large group of 17 and we all fit! The house is large and comfortable. The beach is where the kids 3-11 years old were all week.

Our second time here at this beautiful property and it didn’t disappoint. Had a wonderful time swimming, boating, hiking and playing outdoor games on the huge lawn. Enjoyed watching the deer come by to munch on the apples that had fallen from the tree. House was great as usual, cooked almost all our meals there. Plenty of space to eat indoors and out. Also there were enough comfy beds for everyone in our large extended family. Quiet neighborhood and wonderful fire pit - great for the many somemores that we made!

September Wedding Weekend

Wonderful house and property!! We traveled to Westport to attend a magnificent & magical wedding in Ballard Park. It was a perfect location and the house suited our family of 12. Enjoyed canoeing, fishing, swimming and preparing big breakfasts on the super stove. Thanks Annie, for the easy rental process and sharing your home with us.

Fabulous lake front property

Thank you so much for allowing our group to stay at your home! Such a fabulous older home and a wonderful property! We love the recently updated basement. The lake was absolutely beautiful and the dogs had such a wonderful time! Thank you for welcoming our gentle giants, my vacations revolve around my dogs! Of course we had an awesome time too! The guys enjoyed fishing in the lake and caught some nice sized bass and pike!

Annual family vacation

The house was excellent in every way. Outside activities for kids of all ages . This a 4 generation trip we take with an age range of 5 - 88. The house was perfect for our size of 10 and the layout was great. Minimal steps for my dad as well. Can’t say enough about the deck. Enjoyed our coffe on the morning and a glad of wine in the evening. The location was perfect as well. Within an hour of lake george, lake placid, Tupper lake for the wild center and of course being in lake Champlain. We would love to come back. We had a wonderful vacation, thank you!

Beautiful location

Absolutely loved this property as soon as we set foot on it! Beautiful grounds and beautiful huge house. We are a large extended family group and it’s not often we find a house that will comfortably fit us all. Comfy beds, plenty of dining space. Kitchen was fully stocked with most everything you will need for cooking. There were games for inside and out, puzzles and lots of books. We all had a great time swimming and boating. Host was easy to contact and responsive to our needs. We will certainly come back.

Westport

Overall, our group of 14 enjoyed our week long stay. The access to the lake and yard with swing set and fire pit were enjoyed. The space was large enough for our group. Kitchen was well supplied. We had a warm week and the 2 bedrooms without ac were warm, even with the fans supplied. The bathroom in the downstairs area/apartment needs to be redone. Communication with the owner was very good.

Perfect house for family of 16

Our multigenerational family loved the house. Stunning deck where we ate dinners every night and hung out during the day. Plenty of seats for all. The house had enough beds and spaces so we didn’t feel on top of each other. On our one rainy day, there were plenty of places inside to be in the living room and den. We cooked every night and the kitchen was well equipped and very organized. We played cards at night on the large dining room table.. Large yard where we played a game of softball , Great location. We walked to town most days. Lovely stay!

Beds for all!

It’s difficult to find a house big enough for grandparents, adult children and spouses, and grandchildren. We felt so lucky to have found Annie’s house that had room enough for all of us to gather under one roof. Not only are there plenty of beds, but there is also a large living room and an adjacent “sitting room,” a big dining room table, and a kitchen that accommodates multiple chefs, sous chefs and folks just observing on stools at the peninsula. And four bathrooms! There is also tons of space to hang out on the deck and patio. There is a great play structure and a huge lawn for games. I was so happy to have my whole family together! Best house we’ve ever rented. Thank you, Annie!

Picture Perfect!

Everything that was represented in the listing was exactly as stated. This spot was perfect for our large growing family. Everyone was comfortable. The large kitchen and large great room were our main areas of gathering. The views, dock, swing set, large yard and washer/dryer were priceless. We were a group of 8 adults, a 2 month old, a 1 1/2 year old, 2 two year olds and 2 five year olds. We never ventured off the property except to hit the grocery store in Elisabethtown. Looking forward to exploring more as the grandchildren get older. Annie was so responsive to any concerns that came up and when the refrigerator gave out on us had a new one setup in the kitchen that evening!

Dissappointment

Upon arrival found premises to be unclean and unacceptable . Floors were dirty , screens were like lint traps with pollen and unclean, sliding screen door to kitchen missing, broken outside furniture, grounds unkempt. Place was a mess. Called owner about situation and she was too busy to come down and see. Later on she did negotiate some price adjustment but after spending a day plus cleaning the damage had been done. As grandparents arriving with our son's family with three children including a baby we were not happy.. I will not accept the owners refusal ( lived locally ) to not come over to review the situation .

Relaxing stay

Wonderful large house for family reunions to unwind. We had a fantastic stay. Annie was a great host and very communicative. We are thrilled to book another year. Things that stood out to us compared to other reviews: The room that has beds by the ping pong table we thought would be a high-traffic area but was actually a very private wing off the house and a preferred place for our teenage daughters to stay. The room with a pullout couch bed turned out to be very comfortable foam bed when opened. My nephew was very pleased. Kitchen stove is good sized for meals. Second fridge not shown but around corner from kitchen was very useful for beverages leaving main fridge clear. Fridge in basement also a useful backup. Two upstairs bathrooms for four bedrooms was a great ratio. If you want to spend your vacation inside with AC on, this is not the the best house for you. We spent most of our time in the lake. Note that beyond the beach, the rocks underwater are somewhat sharp and you need some sort of water shoe or protection on your feet. Walk into town is easily (safely) possible as one side of road has sidewalks all the way in. Dining outside on the deck or the long table by the house fits many people. Highly recommend overall.

Beautiful view - a lot of potential

When we arrived at this property the cleaning lady was there and apologetic about the condition of the house - she said the renters before us left it in the worst condition she had seen in her 17 years cleaning the house. She was right, the home was very dirty and the kitchen smelled awful. When we pulled out kitchen towels, silverware and sponges everything was filthy. It was hard to even be in the kitchen given the smell. I reached out the owner, she apologized for the condition and came with her husband to evaluate it the next day. While she was there I asked if I could get my money back and she offered the next day that I could get a 50% refund (after staying 2 of 7 nights) or the cleaning lady could come back. We opted to have the cleaning lady return given the amount of money we would lose. We made a list for the cleaning lady and she worked hard to get it as clean for us as she could, although it certainly still needed a deep clean to get it up to an acceptable level. The positives are that this is a very big house on a beautiful piece of property. The views are absolutely incredible and we found jars full of sea glass. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the lake and spent hours on the grand deck staring out. The people in town were very friendly and we enjoyed some take out food as well as a few nights outdoor dining (and the most affordable coffee shop I’ve ever been to). Overall, the house could certainly use some updates, it’s old, has a ton of character and could probably be one of the most amazing place in the Adirondacks with some money put into it.

We have capacity to rent to larger groups, family reunions in mind, but if the previous renters do not respect the property and leave it a mess, things can quickly get out of hand, which they did. Rosalie and her daughter worked tirelessly to prepare for your arrival but in this case it was overwhelming. We apologize for the condition upon your arrival and hope the four extra hours of cleaning service was of some help. This was our third time renting this beautiful property! As always it was perfect for our large extended family. Plenty of seating and the kitchen is well supplied. Two refrigerators and a generous sized cupboard to store groceries. Lots of sleeping options and we took full advantage of the huge yard.The waterfront is great for swimming and boating- the addition of a couple more kayaks this year was a plus as was the new K&D deli not far away where we ordered delicious pizza on our last night. We hope we can come back again.

Sunrise over Champlain

Beautiful historic property on lake Champlain with views of Vermont mountains. We had a great time for a week with 15 family members. Plenty of space for all! Large dining tables inside and out for family meals, spacious yard with playground, ping pong table inside and fully equipped kitchen to make cooking for groups easy!

Wonderful Stay in Westport!

Our family absolutely loved this spot. It was really great for our large group of 16 and 6 kids (5 and under). The yard was enormous and perfect for so many activities. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had plenty of space to spread out. We particularly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen with the awesome stove / flat top. The deck was great with plenty of places to sit. One recommendation I would have is a clean-up of the beach in front of the house. We enjoyed the water a lot the week we stayed - one day we rented a boat and water skiied, we brought our kayaks and the kids spent lots of time enjoying the shore. It would have been even more enjoyable if there was a little more beach to enjoy. But other than that it was so great - we would stay again for sure! Thank you for hosting us!

it was lovely the perfect setting beautful setting beautiful sunsets very peaceful and quiet.

The house was beautiful much more than you could see on line the grounds were beautiful plenty of room for a large family loved the old stove. beach was wonderful the water perfect. not bothered by morsels at all. the only drawback was there was no air conditioning on the main floor and in the studio apartment. Other than that it was wonderful.

Our family group of 17 had the most wonderful time at this property. The house was large enough that everyone had their own space and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were breath taking. The area is very quiet, keep that in mind if you need groceries and food, but we prefer that to the hustle and bustle of some of the other areas around the lake. The sprawling lawn allowed for the kids to play outside, there is a staircase down to the lake and dock. Bring water shoes, the beach is rocky once you enter the water. Annie was a wonderful host and answered my questions right away. Hands down one of the most beautiful places we've stayed.
