From the main street to apartment was 270 stairs. the room was small but functional, the “kitchen” was useable for quick easy meals like a small breakfast or snacks. the stove was a single burner cook top, but worked well. the bed was somewhat comfortable but barely off the floor. if you have issues getting up and down or bad knees/back this probably isn’t the place for you. there’s no lift and it’s a good hike into city. we walked into the city and used uber back at night. for uber pick up and drop off we used the hotel that was directly across the street.we were supposed to check in at 4 however the room wasn’t cleaned. we were allowed to leave our luggage but of course we had to leave. we were about an hour to hour and half late on the check in.the room also smelled of inscense which was not pleasant and lead to a headache. we had to leave the windows open to try and air it out. not sure if the housekeeper burned it or if previous tenants did it. hopefully it’s not the normal smell! the owner said it was an old building smell, nope!if you have an early morning flight you might want to consider moving from this place the night before as it’s a bit of a drive to airport.overall, we would not stay here again.

A lovely and relaxing petite pied-a-terre. Property is looking a little tired in places, but nevertheless a cracking base. Helpful if you’ve hit the stairmaster in the gym before staying!

Very cute room, need to be able to walk uphill and up a few flights of stairs but the neighborhood down the hill is very pretty with lots of shops and restaurants. Nice size bathroom and basic kitchen set up, large living room with table and openable windows.

Nos sentimos estafadas con este apartamento, es imposible que tenga un 8,8/10 de puntuación. Viajamos mucho y este ha sido sin duda el sitio mås sucio donde nos hemos quedado. Para llegar al apartamento parecía que tenias que pasar por un laberinto. Habia que subir tres pisos y pasar por muchos pasillos llenos de trampas para ratas. Estaba extremadamente sucio, el baño lleno de pelos, los utensilios de cocina se quedaban pegados y las sabanas estaban manchadas y agujereadas. El propietario no nos respondió a los mensajes hasta que se terminó nuestra estada en el apartamento.

The property is in a beautiful location. It is very true to the listing with a comfortable bed and couch. We were surprised by the size. Check-in is made very easy with the host instructions.

Besondere Unterkunft in vielen Belangen

ZunĂ€chst mal zu den Schwachstellen: Insgesamt waren wir nur mĂ€ĂŸig zufrieden. Von einem "Loft" kann man nicht wirklich sprechen. Es ist einfach ein Mini-Apartment mit einem Raumtrenner - und viel zu klein fĂŒr vier Personen. Im Badezimmer kann man sich kaum umdrehen, die KĂŒchenzeile reicht fĂŒr die allernotwendigsten Dinge. Sehr abenteuerlich ist derf Zugang zur Wohnung. Der fĂŒhrt ĂŒber einige (ziemlich unsichere) Treppen und mehrere TĂŒren bis zur Wohnung. Muss man aber wohl akzeptieren, wenn man in der Altstadt von Lyon untergebracht ist, da dies hier typisch ist. Man sollte es nur vorher wissen :) Die Wohnung selbst sit eigentlich recht schön - wĂ€ren da nur nicht die vielen kleinen MĂ€ngel: Sofa und Bett sind wirklich ziemlich dreckig und durchgelegen, auch das Badezimmer dĂŒrfte mal etwas Renovierung vertragen ebenso die extrem einfache KĂŒchenzeile. Internet funktioniert gut, der Fernseher ist so antiquiert, dass wir ihn gar nicht erst probiert haben.Zu den Vorteilen: Die Lage ist schon besonders - so im Zentrum der Altstadt, das ist selten. Allerdings ist das Auto ein echtes Problem. Es gibt zwar ParkplĂ€tze an der Straße vor der Wohnung - aber die sind horrend teuer. Die Aussicht auf Lyon ist dafĂŒr ebenfalls besonders. Zusammengefasst: FĂŒr einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu zweit reicht es. FĂŒr einen echten Urlaub, in dem man sich IN der Wohnung auch wohlfĂŒhlt, fehlt leider so einiges. Allerdings ist die Unterkunft auch (zumindest in unserem Fall) auch recht gĂŒnstig gewesen.

Stay in Old Lyon

The location of this property is amazing with regards to tourist attractions 
 10-15 minutes walk to the Basilica and Roman Amphitheatre, and less then 10 minute walk to dozens of restaurants!!! Our only disappointment was that the sofa in the living was quite dirty; otherwise the apartment is perfect for visiting Lyon.

If you are under 30 years old and are in good physical shape you’ll be able to climb the steep and treacherous walkway to get to and from the apartment. After entering the double gated entrance and lock box key you'll be faced with 3 sets of stairs to get to the apartment. Inside is a table, four chairs, a couch and a queen mattress on a flat floor base. Old discolored towels you may not want to use, no bath soap or shampoo and 1/2 roll of toilet paper. To top it off a shower door that is not connected to the frame and must be strategically maneuvered to open and close. This was very unsettling. We were happy the morning we left. It was not a pleasant experience.

Cozy Spot in Perfect Location

I had a great stay! The location is great—right in the heart of the city, close to everything. The place was clean, comfy, and had all the basics covered. The host was friendly and communicative. It was a perfect, cozy spot to come back to after exploring the city. Highly recommend!

Amazing Place!

This was by far one of the neatest places I have ever stayed. We loved the town and to come back to such a great flat was icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Bien qu'il faille un peu de courage pour accéder a l'appartement sur les hauteurs noua avons ete tres contents de notre sejour, tout etairlt fonctionnel et pratique. Le gerant Laurent a toujours été disponible au besoin. Je recommande

TrÚs bien situé

Appartement charmant, parfaitement refait à neuf et conforme aux photos, parfaitement situé pour découvrir Lyon à pieds. Attention cependant aux marches pour accéder à cet appartement, si on ne souhaite pas faire un grand détour par la route, je ne le recommanderai pas à tout le monde.
