Un appartement entièrement équipé avec entrée privée dans un développement fermé exclusif. Pêche, parking et WiFi gratuits. Il y a deux étages dans l'appartement. Vous avez une porte d'entrée privée et aucun espace intérieur partagé. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend un coin salon, salle à manger et cuisine et une salle de bains. Les commandes de chauffage et la boîte à fusibles sont également à ce niveau. A l'étage, il y a 2 chambres doubles avec chacune une salle de bain. La chambre arrière offre une vue sur la rivière Shannon et une porte mène à un balcon privé. La chambre avant offre une vue sur le port phare, construit dans les années 1800.
Le patio en face de l'appartement est un espace commun. Une table de patio avec 4 chaises est fournie pour votre plaisir. En regardant en aval, vous pouvez voir la ville de Lanesborough à gauche du pont enjambant le Shannon. Lanesborough se trouve dans le comté de Longford, dans la province de Leinster. À droite du pont se trouve Ballyleague dans le comté de Roscommon dans la province de Connacht. Vous pouvez vous tenir sur le pont et être dans deux comtés différents et deux provinces à la fois! Au-delà du pont se trouve Lough Ree (lac des rois) qui mesure 29 km de long et s'étend de Lanesborough à Athlone.

Loved it

Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Food, pubs, fishing. There is even a distillery that allow you tasters to see if you want to buy any. Locals all very friendly. Wonderful stay.

A beautiful, peaceful location on the Shannon. Was perfect for a week of doing nothing. Short walk into town for supplies! Thoroughly enjoyed our respite!

A visit to home from home

This property was ideal for us and it checked every box when it comes to convenience comfort and security. Loved the location. Super quiet with fab views of the Shannon. Would highly recommend. The property owner (Mr Moran) was fantastic and a dream to deal with.

Flagship Harbour

The property and it’s proximity to the river was superb. It was clean, tidy and had adequate space and facilities. A nice touch was the cupboard contained items such as salt, pepper, cooking oil etc, which prevented us having to ‘do a shop’ and buying excessive quantities. Already talking about returning next year.

Perfect!

We could not have been happier with our stay in Flagship Harbour in Ballyleague. Located on the Shannon between Longford and Roscommon it provided a wonderful place from which to explore the midlands. Roscommon Town had marvelous restaurants and the lovely town of Lanesboro is the site of Lough Ree Distillery where there is a wide array of Irish whiskey to not only taste and buy but the owners provide an in-depth tutorial on the spirit processing. Clarke’s bar is a marvelous local to grab a pint and experience a real Irish session. 7 Flagship was the perfect place to return to after everything. A big thank you to Frank Moran, the host, for all the guidance and the beautiful location. Be sure to also take a water cruise on the Shannon on to Lough Ree. By the way the provided towels were the absolutely softest!

the perfect "home base" for our visit to Ireland

My husband and I, and our two college-age kids, stayed at Flagship Harbour for a two-week visit to Ireland. The flat is located in roughly the middle of the country--a perfect place to strike out from for visits to pretty much everywhere. Almost everywere is a two- to three-hour drive from Flagship Harbour (which is nothing, for Americans). The living space is quiet, comfortable, and warm; the mattresses are top-quality; and Francis is a responsive, considerate host. SuperValu grocery, just over the bridge, had all we needed, and Revolution Laundry was better than we expected--no nasty, scented detergents! (Why I knocked off a bit under "cleanliness": some of the cookware was pretty gross, and the carpet in the bedrooms is so worn down in the high-traffic zones that there was a lot of long hair matted into the fibers that the vacuum just can't bring up.) Some places we enjoyed: * Adie's pub, Lanesbrew coffee, and Lough Ree Distillery (all just a short walk away in Lanesborough) * Cliffs of Moher, Inis Mor, Coole Park, and various sites in the Burren Geopark * the Guinness Storehouse and the Museum of Literature (Dublin) * Blarney Castle and the Butter Museum (Cork) * the Milk Market and the Limerick Museum (Limerick) * the Museum of Free Derry and the Peace Bridge (Derry, Northern Ireland) * On days when we stayed nearby, The Pantry was a lovely place for lunch, and the cheesecake at Molloy's Bakery was delightful (Roscommon, a 15 min drive) We fell in love with Ireland!

The property is cozy, secure, and perfectly located to accommodate day trips to explore the country side. An added advantage is its proximity to the village, which has a grocery store with fresh baked goods and deli-bar available daily; pharmacy; barber shop and hair salon; and there are a number of beautiful walking trails.

Perfect locstion on the River Shannon

Excellent property and locstion is judt perfect. Property very clean and very well equipped. Views from property are amaxing, on private jetty is a great feature. Frank is a fantastic host and very easy to contact. I would highly recommend this property.

Brilliant location on the river shannon. Jetty just out the front is ideal for fishing. Lanesborough 5 mins away for all your amenities. Couldn't fault the place.

Beautiful appartment with lake views

This appartment was ideally located for our short stay here in Longford. It is central to many activities we wanted to do in the area. Short walk to the village with everything you need in the town. The appartment itself was warm and cosy especially the beds, had great night's sleep here. Everything we needed was in the appartment. Would highly recommend a stay here and Frank our host was also very helpful. Hope to be back again in the future.
