Une riviĂšre le traverse

D'accord, le puissant Crown Creek n'est pas une riviĂšre, mais la puissance des rapides qui traversent cette propriĂ©tĂ© est vraiment fascinante. Cette propriĂ©tĂ© de 10,5 acres se compose d'une cabane en rondins d'une chambre et d'une salle de bains donnant sur le ruisseau Crown. La pĂȘche Ă  la truite dans le ruisseau Crown et dans la riviĂšre Baptisim adjacente est excellente. La cabane en rondins a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e et tout est neuf. Des comptoirs en quartz et un Ă©vier en cuivre mettent en valeur la nouvelle cuisine. Veuillez consulter le lien YouTube pour en savoir plus. Les sentiers de motoneige et de VTT sont accessibles directement de la propriĂ©tĂ© sans avoir besoin de remorque. Terminez votre nuit avec un feu de joie et des smores surplombant Crown Creek dans votre propre cadre privĂ©.

It was a place for two senior citizens to enjoy beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The cabin was warm and comfortable and the satellite WiFi allowed us to keep up with family and news from around the world. I would highly recommend this property!!! Dave was a great host/owner and answered my questions promptly and thoroughly!

We had a great stay here - the seclusion is AMAZING, and the cabin is very comfortable. All the privacy of camping in the North Shore wilderness with the comfort of a well-stocked and maintained cabin.

The cabin is really nice. It's a peaceful place to stay and convenient base for North Shore day trips. It's about 3 miles into Finland and the convenient Finland Coop is a nice place for picking up miscellaneous grocery items. We at Our Place in Finland and had a good non-fancy supper and breakfast there. Best bet is to bring your own food for a meal at the cabin though. The section of the creek running by the cabin is gorgeous and the creekside deck is a perfect place to enjoy it in nice weather. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious for two people.

Interior of the cabin is nice and open, with a lovely kitchen & bathroom. Outside features a fire pit, screened-in gazebo, and lounging area close to the river. Absolutely gorgeous location, and secluded from other buildings. My wife and I loved our stay!

This is my third time renting this cabin. It's a peaceful retreat; the sound of the creek is so soothing. Cabin has everything you need and is a great location as a base for hiking.

The property was in great condition, very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. It rained a good part of our stay, so mostly stayed on site. But the covered gazebo was perfect for reading and lounging, and as an avid bird watcher I enjoyed walking around the property, as there are so many birds in the trees! It is close to plenty of state parks, and Dave provided a good list of things to do. Very close to a general store in Finland if you are short on supplies. The creek running through was gorgeous, and definitely is impressive in person. Would absolutely stay again!

Quiet and nice location.

Nice location, very secluded and quiet would stay again with some changes. Upon arriving first thing we noticed was the camera which is understandable for security, but it was not noted on listing and it was in a position that could clearly see inside the cabin as there were no blinds. Kind of creepy honestly. The second problem was I rented this place for the stream access. Upon walking down by the stream they had a fence up you could not go through
.making the stream completely inaccessible. Again, things like this should be noted on description as it’s very misleading and would’ve changed my mind about renting the place.Property was clean and has everything you need. I did have to tether off my WiFi hotspot to watch TV. Depending on your service this may not be an option for other folks, so that is something to keep in mind.

North woods getaway

Dave's cabin was fantastic, again. We have stayed several times, and will continue to come back. The property is secluded, and has a great view. We loved sitting on the deck, around the fire and playing games in the gazebo.

Peaceful Getaway

This place is relaxing, clean and comfortable. The sound of rushing water from Crown Creek is nothing short of therapeutic. It's in easy reach of Lake Superior or head the other direction and enjoy the quiet forest. If you plan on grilling, you'll need to bring a portable grill, as the grill is unusable. No tv channels, but who cares.

Lovely Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this house for a long weekend. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Check in was straightforward, and directions were very clear. We had a great time, and would love to return when everything has thawed!

Winter retreat

Very nice place away from it all. Adequately equipped kitchen. Gas fireplace kept us warm all weekend. Bed was very comfortable. Creek was frozen over, so guess we’ll have to come back in the summer. Recommend highly.

The utilities in the cabin was up to date and better than the average rental space I've been in. The view was great and we enjoyed our winter wonderland view.
