The overall experience is worth not only the price but the comfort this cabin brings. This particular cabin was a few minutes away from a gas station, restaurant, and a Dollar General for any last minute necessities you may have forgotten. While still having the privacy of woods and a fence.

This was a cozy cabin not too far from town with easy access to the highway and lots of hiking. The cabin is exactly as described. I do wish there was a little more privacy, especially at the hot tub as it faces the road with nothing blocking the view. Will absolutely stay here again!

The cabin that we ended up staying at was not the original cabin that I had booked. I was informed that that cabin needed some maintenance work and so they were going to upgrade to another cabin that wasn't far from the original. We ended up with much more space and a pool that we hadn't counted on. Even though we didn't use it because it was too cold. And we were quite pleased with the overall cabin and grounds. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for comfort and quiet in a quite roomy cabin with mostly all the amenities you would need. I guess the only thing that I would say negative would be the cookware is the non-stick that scrapes off as you cook and ends up in your food. We had a wonderful time and I'm sure we'll be using this company's choice of cabins again.

Overall, our stay was amazing. Plenty of room for us and kids. Views were fabulous, sunsets, train and not a lot of traffic. Kitchen was small but cute. Would like some smaller baking dishes but had everything else that we needed to cook. TVs in every room. It was rainy so we didn’t get to use the firepit. Hot tub was great, but the cement patio had a crack in it and held water that was slow to drain.

There is a mouse infestation in the kitchen. In every drawer, on the counters, and in the pots and pans there was mouse poop. Every morning there was more poop. We were unable to eat or cook at the house due to all of the poop and evidence of mice in the kitchen. The house was very cold, the temperature was down to the 30s and there was just a sheet and very thin comforter on the bed. No other blankets were supplied. Very disappointed for our stay. We will not be staying again. I have pictures of I need to send them.

We enjoyed our stay, however arriving to a cold hotub that took our entire 2 day stay to heat up (only got to 98) was upsetting. We were really excited to use the hotub specifically and it was a shame that we were only able to dip in an hour before our checkout time. The tv’s are also outdated, was a pain to figure them out. Other than that we had a nice time, the cabin was well kept. If the hotub really worked I would stay again.

Great get away with family and pets

Blue Jay cottage was a perfect fit for our family and two dogs. Nice accommodations, thoughtful furnishing and the hot tub was a bonus. More than enough room for our two big dogs to run and play in the yard.

Great location and quiet area. Property was clean and very nice. The hot tub had a few settings that didn't work but it worked well for three of us. Would stay again.
