Maison de 200 m2 avec une capacité de 10 personnes sur deux étages.
Rez de chaussée: Grand salon avec cheminée, quatre fenêtres donnant sur le jardin, cuisine rustique entièrement équipée avec appareils, y compris lave-vaisselle, cuisine nouvelle cuisine. Deux chambres: 1 double et une avec 2 lits de 105 cm. Salle de bains avec lavabo et douche deux gros seins dimension.
1er étage: 1 chambre double, 2 chambres doubles avec lits jumeaux. Une salle de bain complète avec douche. 2 grandes terrasses donnant sur l'allée et sur la piscine et les jardins.
Il dispose de 3 grands placards.
Tous les matériaux de la maison sont de la plus haute qualité.
La maison est entourée par un séjour très agréable où se trouve des meubles de jardin et barbecue portable.

Es una casa preciosa bien situada a apenas un km. de Arriate y 5 kms. de Ronda, en un lugar muy tranquilo. La casa está en perfectas condiciones y muy bien cuidada, hasta el último detalle. No le hemos encontrado ninguna pega. El trato con el arrendador excelente aunque sólo haya sido por teléfono.

Mejor que estupendo

Hemos pasado unos días geniales en esta propiedad tan Bonita además de limpia y bien situada. Mejor que en fotos, hemos encontrado todo lo necesario para el disfrute de nuestros días. Está muy bien situada y tiene un encanto especial. Su propietaria es muy atenta, educada y predispuesta. Completamente recomendable.

Pleasant stay and great base to explore

Isabelle was a great host and greeted us on arrival. The grounds and aesthetics of the property are lovely with great views. The villa has everything you need in terms of home comforts, but we would add a couple of additional sun loungers around the pool as there are currently 2 which was not enough for 4 adults. The roof terrace at the rear of the property is a great space for drinks on an evening, would be great with a small table and chairs. All bedrooms etc are adequately furnished and the lounge has two comfy sofas. Kitchen has everything you need and is a rustic Spanish style. Our intention was to get away from the main tourist routes and Arriate does provide that with some lovely little bars in the town, Bodega la sacristy was a particular favourite and bar molonos both excellent value, offering tapas. Muelle de Arriate, is the local fine dining restaurant experience and did not disappoint, Excellent food and genial host who makes it a true experience and a 3 hour event. The villa is in a great location to explore the region. Ronda is a great place for both shopping and sightseeing Breathtaking views and an enchanting old town with medieval architecture and a real sense of Spain, without the tourist trappings of the more coastal towns. Menus are in English, but if you want English breakfasts, or chicken and chips then go elsewhere. We did have some issues with the villa that were beyond the owners control, but she was quickly on hand to resolve, getting engineers out on a Sunday and ensuring quick resolution. We came as two families and there is adequate space, but you will need hire cars, and the walk into and back from town whilst only half a mile is in places steep and probably not for the elderly or very young (8 year olds coped fine). Overall it’s been a good experience, If It were my property I would change a few things like create a view when dining outside, and installing air con (fans are available on request ) but the table is positioned near the kitchen so it’s current location makes sense. I would also add / replace a few bits of outside furniture, but the pool is excellent, the villa has great kerb appeal, is well located and is a traditional Spanish home in a great location.

Lovely spacious villa and pool in great surroundin

We had a great holiday at Villa Carlos. There is lots is room inside and outside and we enjoyed being within walking distance of Arriate that has lots of shops -small supermarkets, bakers, fishmongers, butchers and lots of bars and cafes. We especially enjoyed eating at El Muelle, a fabulous restaurant on the train platform. Frank specialises in local produce of the highest quality and he spends time explaining the food on the menu. The pool at the villa is great, as are the gardens and olive groves. There are sun loungers but some of them could do with being replaced as they have become rather rickety. There are only two parasols but there is enough shade from the olive and fruit trees near the pool. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool and the gardens, and the wonderful views of the mountains. We found the villa rather hot at night (it was August!) but Isabel did provide an extra fan when requested. She also replaced the DVD player which had stopped working. The kitchen has plenty of crockery and pans but some of the utensils need replacing. Isabel did provide some kitchen scissors when we asked. Things like a decent grater, a slot style toaster, sharp knives, measuring jug would have been helpful. We did buy a kettle and left it there, but we are aware that we wouldn't necessarily expect a kettle in a Spanish villa. There were plenty of towels provided as well as extra bedding but there were not enough sheets to change all the beds. We just washed what we required. We had difficulty finding the villa as the Google map reference was too broad for our satnav. The fly screen in one of the downstairs bedrooms is broken. It would also have been helpful if there was some information about the area, ( shops in Arriate, local attractions etc) especially as there is no wifi at the villa. Overall we had a great time and Isabel was helpful. The setting is wonderful and we enjoyed our holiday.

I appreciate all the comments and thus help us improve and keep the house in top condition . I feel that some details were not to your liking , as the grater or fly screen in the room below. They have already been repaired . Regarding the sheets leave a spare bed (except a bed 90 cm ) in the cupboards. We believed that an additional spare was enough. It´s true that in August this year in hot weather. Usually at night and with the windows opened is not necessary to use fans . I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday. Thank you very much

Spacious, well-situated villa.

We had a lovely two weeks at Villa Carlos. It is ideally situated for exploring Ronda as well as the Serrania de Ronda. It is within easy walking distance of the little town of Arriate which has a great restaurant called El Muelle as well as a number of bars, cafes, small supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, etc. The pool is large and is set within a garden amongst the olive grove. Isabel was quick to respond to our request for more fans as we found the villa rather warm at night ( it was August!) She also sent someone round with a replacement DVD player after the one in the villa developed a fault. The villa was clean and there were plenty of towels. There was clean bed linen so that we could change the sheets; however, there was not quite enough bedding to change all the beds in one go, so we had to wash some sheets. There were six loungers around the pool, although some of them were rather dilapidated and were liable to collapse. There are only two parasols but there is lovely shade cast by the trees around the garden near the pool, which made it a great place to sit and relax. The kitchen had ample crockery, glasses and pans but some of the utensils were rather old or broken. Isabel did quickly supply some kitchen scissors when we asked for them. There is a covered seating area near the house which was handy for the kitchen and shaded throughout the day. The glass table has a crack in it but we simply used a tablecloth to cover it. Decent fans in all the bedrooms would have been really helpful. Also, the fly screen in one of the bedrooms is broken and needs repairing/ replacing. We managed without it, but we are mentioning it now so that the owner is aware. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday here, but feel that there are some small touches that would have made it even better.

Bonita casa rural.

Pasamos un fin de semana 4 familias en la casa. Al ser invierno y estar el fin de semana de frío y lluvia fue perfecto para disfrutar de la chimenea, la cual ya nos había dejado Isabel ( la propietaria ), preparada a nuestra llegada. Obviamente no usamos la piscina, pero era muy bonita, así que la casa es perfecta tanto para Invierno como Verano. Mucha tranquilidad pero a la vez a tan solo 2 minutos de Arriate para poder abastecerte de lo que quieras. La casa muy bien cuidada y la cocina muy bien equipada con todos los utensilios que puedas necesitar.
