We loved our stay, already planning our next trip. Perfect for our family of three and our dog. It's a great location to walk to dinner, coffee and shopping. We love how quiet it is, having a noise sensitive dog. Golf cart waiting for us was a great bonus.

We stay at The Lucky Buck twice a year. Ellen and Russ are great people. We have been renting their properties for the last 7 or 8 years. I never try to find any otherlisting. When we leave my husband and I always clean the place so they don't have to as they work other jobs. I love doing that for them and they are always appreciative. You won't find a nicer couple!

Great place for the two of us! This stay will hold special memories as we just got engaged on this trip! Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We loved the option of our golf cart rental through the host. Would recommend!

Great place to stay and very convenient. Well socked for cooking, but remember to bring queen sized sheets and towels. Only drawback was the lack of a proper dining table, but otherwise very highly recommended!

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed our stay very much at Lucky Buc. We will definitely use this Vrbo in the future and have to say that we wanted to bring the mattress from the bed home with us. We slept better than we have in a very long time. The hosts were remarkable and we appreciate everything.

We have gotten more comments on the Lucky Buc mattress, than any other one. It is a Zinus memory foam bought off Amazon. I have bought the same mattress for the other units, and have not gotten the same comments. Maybe they sent a better version by accident. Ellen

A lovely place to stay on Ocracoke! Comfy and cozy. Close to all the things, so you can walk, bike, or ride to the attractions.

It was really the perfect place for a couple with a dog. Plenty of room with bedroom and living\dining room well separated. Fulll kitchen. Comfy bed. Really enjoyed the fenced patio with the outdoor shower so you can wash the beach off your and your dog's feet and dry off outside in nature. The whole town is within walking distance from here. Hope to go back soon when the weather is better for Star gazing.

This was my 4th time staying at the Lucky Buc and I absolutely love it. It's always so clean and accommodating. I love the location being so close to town as well. I definitely plan to stay here again.

This is our 3rd stay at one of Rus and Ellen's rental properties. They are perfect little getaways and very welcoming of dogs.
