This is a superb property in which to stay, with a fantastic terrace commanding views across the surrounding landscape. The kitchen facilities are good and there is everything needed for self-catering. I heartily recommend this house for anyone seeking a quiet and restful vacation. I would happily return again in the future.

Very relaxing after days spent with family and friends. Had everything we needed. Parking was interesting but considering the location we just appreciated having a place to park. View was beautiful

Beautiful large house on a hilltop. Comfortable, fairly clean. Initially there was no TV but the owner brought one the next day. It was very hot during our stay so luckily there was airco which kept the temperature in the living room some degrees lower. Good location between Verona, Venice (by train!) and near Vicenza and Padua.

This is a lovely house in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. Centrally located for wine tasting in the Veneto region and for a day trip to Venice. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. The kitchen had necessities for a nice stay: a wonderful selection of pots/pans; and extras such as oil, spices, dish tabs, laundry detergent were much appreciated. There are also herbs growing just outside! The owners were easy to contact, responsive and helpful. They were especially helpful with how to find parking in Vicenza so as to take the train to Venice, and gave us a great tip about taking the public "bus" (a boat) to get from St. Mark's back to the train station at the end of our sightseeing. It saved tired legs and gave us an inexpensive water tour of the central canal! We were a tad disappointed to find no microwave, (which is shown in website photos), and the coffee maker was a pod machine. I didn’t expect an espresso maker but a drip coffee maker would have been a reasonable compromise. But these were small inconveniences for an otherwise great 5 day visit.

Beautiful place, Beautiful views!

We stayed here on the last leg of our 2 week Italian Honeymoon. It was so relaxing and just what we needed after the excitement of spending time in Venice and Florence! The view out the bedroom window blew me away every morning, and you can see the sunset from there in the evening! It was the perfect place to recharge before heading back to real life,

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

Located in a tiny hamlet on a plateau above the small town of Brendola, the house was very peaceful. The view from the terrace of the valley below and the Alps to the north was really nice. It was a bit chilly when we were there, but this would be a wonderful spot for dinner cooked on the provided grill, or for a drink. The location fit our needs very well, but if you like to be where the action is, and walk to nearby bars and shops, this is probably not the house for you. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the interiors were decorated in a crisp, modern style, exactly as shown in the pictures on the listing. One thing to be aware of is that some of the stairs had partial or no railings, so it might not be a good choice for people with mobility problems or small children. Sandra was very helpful, promptly answering our questions and offering advice about local places to visit. If we are ever in this area again, we would certainly stay here.

Alles bestens!!
