La maison spacieuse et rénovée est située à côté d'une colonie de hérons de 10 acres. Le paradis des ornithologues! Niché au bord de la communauté de Sandy Hook, les locataires peuvent marcher 6 minutes jusqu'à une plage d'un mile de long avec une aire de jeux à proximité et regarder la marée aller et venir. La pointe sud de Whidbey est rurale, charmante et paisible. Faites une randonnée depuis la maison jusqu'à un sentier qui relie le parc d'État Possession Point pour un pique-nique sur la plage. Faites du vélo jusqu'au marché de producteurs de Bayview. Détendez-vous sur le pont et regardez les aigles résidents pêcher dans la baie ou les cerfs broutant dans le champ voisin. Un nid d'aigle est directement au-dessus de la maison. 10 minutes en voiture de la ville pittoresque de Langley, ou 40 minutes en vélo. 10 minutes du ferry. 10 minutes des restaurants et des cafés.

If you looking for a relaxing gateway , look no further ! Great location , great views , near the restaurants and shops of Langley but set in a beautiful quiet area so you can have the best of everything Whidbey has to offer ! We went on local walks at Possession State park , walked on the beach , went to local winery , went out to nice meals and at the end of the day loved sitting on the beautiful porch , sipping wine and watching the birds . The house has everything you need to cook . Lots of games and movies etc .

Peaceful and Restorative Getaway

We loved staying at this waterfront property with a beautiful view. Everything was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful walks on the beach and the proximity to great restaurants in Langley. An evening on the deck with the fire table on and drink in hand is not to be missed!

Business Retreat

After a busy conference we were looking for a serene space where we could reflect on the past week/month/year and plan for the months ahead and this was the perfect spot!! Loved everything about it and we will be back.

Short and Sweet Get-a-Way

Such a relaxing time. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the sunny warm weather on the big deck. A perfect place for watching all the birds! The house was well furnished with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful location and a perfect house for 5 friends to have a long weekend getaway. Upstairs deck with the fireplace table and couches is perfect for hanging out. Great kitchen with everything we needed. Would return for sure.

We loved our stay so much we added an extra night! The home was so warm and inviting, well stocked with endless games, movies, and books, and incredibly comfortable beds! Katie was quick to respond to our request to extend our stay and to help us find a lost item! We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful home in a beautiful location

We had a group of 4 women staying for a weekend getaway. The home was large and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the covered deck watching the sunset, drinking wine by the fire. We enjoyed visiting nearby Langley. Lots of shops and lunch at the public house was great. The down stairs living room with the cozy fireplace was perfect for movie watching when it was rainy. Everything was perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends.

Bird watching best site

Katie was very friendly prior to us staying there, which I appreciated and it set a nice tone. The house was nice, the upper area having kitchen and dining area with a wall of windows that look out onto the small bay and bird sanctuary. We cooked here a lot and the kitchen is well stocked!! We have small children who loved the games and babies who loved the pack n play. We mostly hung outside on the deck with a lovely fireplace and watched birds come and go. It was a nice little getaway and I would stay here again.

Cozy and quiet

I was supposed to have a girls weekend here and my friend had to cancel last minute. It ended up being the perfect place to recharge, read, relax, and enjoy the outdoors! My friend that lives locally came over and we spent the day out on the deck catching up and enjoying the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything I needed. Shower had great water pressure and the bed was super comfortable. Would love to return!

wonderful home to visit in a great location

The home was even better in person than the pictures. It was comfortable with a great kitchen for preparing family meals. With 3 separate living areas (counting upper deck) we could accommodate children and adults in flexible configurations. The eagles, herons, and deer were there every day. The bird feeder attracted such a wide variety of birds and even a chipmunk. The garden was beautiful and serene. We truly enjoyed our special weekend to celebrate my 76th birthday with my children and grandchildren.

Great place to stay!

Wonderful home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was just the perfect size for my family gathering. Not much of a looker from the outside, but the home has been recently renovated inside. Upstairs has large kitchen with huge island, dining and living areas, master bedroom and bath, huge deck, and a nice view of an inlet, local marina, and mountains on a clear day. Downstairs has a living area, two bedrooms, bathroom, and laundry room, which is perfect if you have family or kids who want to hang out by themselves. I especially liked having larger beds in all three bedrooms to accommodate more adults (hard to find!). I would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a place to stay on this beautiful island.

Peaceful

The family was on the island for a wedding and we loved staying here together! All 5 adults thought the mattresses were fantastic (including the bunk and futon)! We spent almost anytime we were home on the amazing deck looking over the canal. Tide changes made it even more interesting. Different wildlife depending on tide. The bald eagles were morning birds. Many birds, bunnies and deer right outside on the property. Loved the bird feeder on the property. Well stocked with items you might need. We all would love to stay again if another opportunity comes up!

Great place to stay if you love nature and have a family

I loved this house. It's clean, large enough to fit a family of 5 and we could have probably even had an extra couple or grandparent in there. Katie, the owner, was super helpful with suggestions on places to go and places to eat. She was very easy to get a hold of and very responsive. If you love nature, this is the place for you. We saw a baby deer in the yard and all over the neighborhood, two bald eagles live right above the house, two seals directly across the bay, tons of herons and other cool birds. They even supplied the binoculars! The town is close to the ferry and the drive to the rest of the island is easy with plenty of cool little towns to stop in along the way. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan on going back again as soon as we can. You can't go wrong here.

Fantastic weekend on Whidbey

Our family of 4, with two small boys spent 2 night at this beautiful home in Clinton, on Whidbey Island. The pictures online of this property don't do this place justice. It's a beautiful, well appointed home, with fantastic views of the bay. The home is spacious--3 great bedrooms, and two large common spaces with beautiful views from the upstairs living room; the kitchen is fantastic to cook in (with all necessary kitchen wares); and great comfortable furniture. The outdoor spaces, particularly the upper deck was a perfect place to enjoy the views. The hosts (Katie and Eric) were an absolutely pleasure to deal with. They were communicative, and offered lots of great tips about things to do on the Island. We were so impressed by how thoughtful they were too in ensuring that our family had a great stay. I cannot speak more highly of our experience. This is definitely a great home to book. You will not be disappointed. We will certainly be back. 5 stars, all around!

Great place!

The area we stayed in was great! The views from the upper deck were awesome! We saw the resident eagle and mate a few times, and the deer came around often. At night we heard a great-horned owl. The house itself was comfy. The fireplace downstairs definitely heated the house quickly. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen had all we needed. The island itself was fun to explore. We had a great week!!

Spacious House on the Bay

Beautiful property with lovely sunset views of the bay and Olympics. Great communication with the owner before check-in and responsive during the stay. Great place to chill in the less touristy part of Whidbey.
