This is a great vacation house. No complaints at all. The location is beautiful. Unbelievable views of the sunrise each morning. The house is clean and comfortable without being overpriced. Not a super fancy place, but that's not what we were looking for at all. It was a great house to start and end our daily adventures in the beautiful Whidbey Island area.Found some amazing creatures on our beach walks. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had. The area is amazing. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!!

What a gym! Great escape from the bustle of the city. Sweeping views of the Puget Sound with eagles, raccoons, bats, etc. Amenities were great. We barbecued, hot tubbed, and sat around the fire at night. Short walk to a private beach... we were the only humans there! We stayed 2 days, and then made the short drive back to Seattle, feeling completely rejuvenated. My family, and our dogs, absolutely LOVED this place!!!

So this was our 35th anniversary celebration, and we were looking forward to this amazing place with privacy and a great view. The view is accurate. Right behind the main photo is the next door neighbors house with their kitchen? window overlooking this deck. The home had NO WINDOW COVERINGS in the dining room so YES the neighbor can be looking right into the house. The home is very outdated, think 80's, with a few light fixtures that are newer. We did read the reviews and there was one from back in 2019 saying the house was dated but no newer ones so our assumption was the home had since been updated. IT HAS NOT. The home had a very miss matched appeal. There wasn't even TWO wine glasses that matched. The fireplace is on a ONE hour timer so you have to get up and turn it back on every hour... The hot tub rules say you can only use it for 15 minutes. The landscaping also looked sad, several dead plants and broken light.

Happy anniversary, and thank you for choosing our home to celebrate 35 years together; we're sorry the stay didn't feel as special as the occasion deserved. We're glad the view lived up to expectations, and we've shared your notes on the dining room windows, the furnishings, and the outdoor upkeep with the team responsible for the home for review. A few of the home's features, including the fireplace timer, are designed with safety in mind, and our team is always happy to explain how everything works during a stay. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention, and should you consider staying with us again, we'd welcome the chance to make it a more memorable visit.

The small bedroom was full of jumbled children's books and toys, a playpen and small child's bed. The rod holding up the curtain that served as a closet door was hanging loose. My guest barely had space to store their belongings. There was torn bedding and stained towels. Numerous carpet stains. Most of the table lamps were cheap and wobbly. I have pictures if you're interested.

Island Quiet

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved the view out over the water, from the deck and from the upstairs room — that was my quiet reading & writing place. The home was well-stocked, the management company was VERY helpful when needed, and overall it was a great place. Only suggestion would be to add curtains or shades on dining room windows - on sunny days, the morning sun was a bit too bright.

We loved staying here! We needed a vacation to unplug and this house was perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed spending most of our time on the back deck and was visited by a bald eagle every morning.
