Belle maison industrielle rustique construite en 2016

Construit entièrement à partir de matériaux réutilisés. Les poutres et les revêtements de sol sont centenaires, cœur de pin. Le bois de grange et le fer-blanc récupéré accentuent l'entrée et le solarium. Plan d'étage ouvert parfait pour se divertir. 600 pieds carrés La véranda qui a 4 portes de garage s'ouvrant sur une terrasse de 600 pieds carrés donnant sur l'eau crée un refuge parfait en plein air. Il y a 5 chambres et 2. 5 salles de bains. 2 des chambres ont des greniers pour un espace de couchage supplémentaire. La cuisine est moderne et entièrement meublée. Le cadre est très tranquille et privé. Il est niché dans un composé d'acre. Un bosquet de bambous avec de majestueux arbres de chênes et de hickory offrant ombre et intimité. Beaucoup d'animaux sauvages, y compris des cerfs, des renards, des lapins, des écureuils, des hérons, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. L'emplacement est parfait car il est proche de tout (épiceries, restaurants, magasins, divertissements, etc.), mais on a l'impression d'être dans un autre monde. L'étang a beaucoup de poissons, canoë et kayak. Le cadre doit être vu pour être cru.

Thanksgiving Family Stay

Beautiful property with great gathering spaces for our family get-together. Peaceful and serene, yet close to Burlington/Elon. This is the owner's home, not just a rental property.

Amazing home!

From the jump, the owners were courteous and hospitable. The place looks nice as listed but the pictures do it no jujstice. Its beautiful and cozy. The lake view is nice and quiet. A great place for relaxing.

Super cool

Stayed for Elon graduation. This place was perfect. Plenty of room to relax and visit with family. Rooms are very comfortable. The outdoor space was a welcome treat. And, the decor was so fun. Thanks for sharing the place with us. We loved it.

Great place for our family to stay for HPU graduation

We came as a family of 9 for a graduation at HPU. The house is very unique and relaxing. We spent most of our free time on the patio area with countless ping pong games, card game and naps while listening to the pond fountain. The drive to our sons college was only about 35 minutes and all highway so easy to get around.

Family reunion

We had 7 adults and 3 children (6yr, 6 yr, 4 yr) all stay together in the house. We thoughly enjoyed it. The house itself is very unique and beautiful, and was very comfortable for such a large group. The kids loved exploring the bamboo gardens and pond, while the adults enjoyed the outdoor deck area and the ping pong table. Kitchen was well supplied for family dinners. Overall, a truely wonderful place to make memories!

From start to finish we loved our stay!

From the driveway and throughout the entire property we were enchanted! What a lovely, welcoming home with wonderful space to enjoy the whole family or curl up inside or out for a quiet chat. We were three generations coming together for a family wedding. It was the perfect place for time together. Comfortable, with ping pong for entertainment and beautiful birds swooping in on the feeder as we enjoyed our morning coffee outside. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Clint and Rebecca for a beautiful place for a memorable weekend.

Better than the photos

I stayed at this property for a month, with various family members visiting during that time. The setting is serene, and the owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The garage doors opening to a view of the lake really made this house extra special. I thought in the heat of the summer that it would either be too hot or too buggy. There were only a few very hot and humid days where I kept the doors shut, but the bugs were not a problem at all. The house is spacious and conducive to large gatherings. The beds were very comfortable. Note that only nimble people (i.e. kids) will be able to climb up to the loft beds! Overall, this was a lovely and quiet place to stay with the luxury of being 5 minutes from the highway.

Enjoyed our stay at this unique property. Even though the property is very close to the interstate, it is both convenient and secluded at the same time — you are not bothered by traffic road noise. Ample bedrooms and well stocked, the only note would be about TVs. There is plenty to keep you occupied without TV, but if you like TV as a distraction, be prepared to use your own channel service accounts and know there are not TVs in some locations where you would expect them to be. Otherwise, you will find this property to be perfect for a get away with family and/or friends.

Great indoor/outdoor gathering space in beautiful custom home

This house was custom designed and built by the owner for his family to live in. They ended up living elsewhere, but we are the beneficiaries of the artistry and thought put into this unique home and property. It far exceeded my expectations and gave our group of about 8 adults both the spaces we needed for privacy and the gathering spaces to be together. We spent most of our time out on the enormous porch next to the pond and fountain (which cuts out the nearby highway noise for this home). One of our guests got Covid but was able to stay in one of the other, smaller homes and join us on the deck. It exceeded all our needs. Book it - you won't regret it.

Great house for family getaway.

Great house for family with small children. Plenty of room to run and play. Also park nearby. Beautiful scenery out the back doors. Close to lots of restaurants, stores. We were attending a wedding in Liberty NC and it was perfect for our family.

Clint York, a native of NC, is an Elon alumni. He is retired from corporate America and enjoys managing several VRBOs, landscaping, gardening and cooking. Rebecca, a native of Toledo, Ohio, moved to NC to attend Greensboro College. She teaches high school children with Autism and enjoys helping Clint pick flowers.
