Great location. for winter and summer 2 beds ,2 bath new kitchen with everything you need. Central air and heat. Private pool just for condo owners and guest, 2 balcony's, washer dryer 2. Flat screen tvs Cable. Many extra. Including all bedding and bath. Great for families. And for those that like to just get away. Great for family' golf outings
Island Palms is located in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. Onsite amenities include free parking, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor pool. The property is a short walk across the street from the beach and there are several restaurants, attractions, live shows and shopping within a short drive. WE NOW HAVE SNOWBIRD RATES for winter relaxing.

The property was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was impeccable. He wanted to ensure we had the best visit possible. The pool was available and clean. Parking is tight for large vehicles, and there are numerous steps up to the property. But otherwise, great location and condo.

Never stay here again!

Property was nice but filthy. Kitchen in rental hadn’t been cleaned, dirty dishes in the cabinets, coffee still in the coffee pot. Couldn’t even use the pool because it was filthy in and around it. Contacted owner and he supposedly had a cleaning company come out our second day there but we never seen them and the place was still filthy so we cleaned it ourselves.

Excellent week! The facility was exceptionally clean, well cared for, and beautifully updated. The owner was always available, and readily took care of any issues that surfaced. Located across the street from the beach, parking is readily available and covered, easy access to the facility, clean pool, always available, and climate control, exceptional! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again. What a great experience!

I could not be happier with my stay at this condo in North Myrtle. If traveling with your family, this is where you want to be. Its unbelievably quiet
we were there for the 4th and it was tame and under control in the best way possible. Jeff keeps his place clean and its got everything you need to live like you are at home. Jeff is also a regular guy who is easy to talk to and deal with as a host. Wake up and walk across the street and you are on a clean and beautiful beach
.I am from NJ, so I am biased, but the beach was not even over crowded on the weekend of the 4th. You also have 2 great balconies - one you can see the ocean from. So relaxing, quiet, laid back and family-oriented at this particular spot in NMB. I would stay here all summer if I could - the place is fantastic and Jeff is a good guy - do not hesitate to lock this place up for you and your family!

Dirty and Nasty property

I was there For Memorial Day weekend. Open the door and it was 85. Also a lock box is on the thermostat. Looking around and dust is everywhere. Dirty towels hanging in the bathrooms. Its said no smoking but a cigarette box is under the sink. Also a cigar was left on the deck. I spoke with the owner and he was very rude and said if i didn't like it i can leave and he would refund me my money. Pictures with show. I would avoid this property at ALL COST.

Very nice place. Jeff communicated well & the location was perfect. Right across the street from the beach, a pool downstairs and balconies in each room. We all enjoyed our stay, it was a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this venue and we would definitely book again! Vacation was exactly how we imagined.

Unexpected intrusions to our vacation.

Jeffrey was very old fashioned and liked to do business via phone calls. We had previously gone over details a week prior to our stay via phone and that went smoothly. Then the day after arriving for our stay we received one message in VRBO saying we need to contact him. The call was over the details that had been covered the week before. Also there was a neighbor downstairs that seemed to want to contact the host regarding whatever we were doing. The location was great being near the beach but I don’t understand why the neighbor needs to be so nosy about who is there. The police were called on us for “property damage” via our vehicle in the small parking spaces. when HOA arrived video could not show we actually had done anything and we can only assume the neighbor who previously had communications with the host had made the call about us hitting the property. During our stay we felt that we were constantly being watched from the earlier part of this review and at the end Having the police show up for something we didn’t do honestly made us not feel safe.

Family Vacation

We stayed 5 nights. Very quiet location. Super close to the beach. The street is not busy and is easy to cross. Jeff was very easy to reach and gave us a lot of local info, places to eat, things to do etc. It was a nice easy place to stay.

Close condo to the beach

Condo was right across the road from the beach and each bedroom had a nice little porch. Parking is a tight fit if you have a larger vehicle and no elevator (so being on the 3rd floor takes some effort to get luggage and stuff up the narrow staircase). But overall a nice place for the price and accessibility to the beach.

Our host reached out prior to our trip and provided valuable information to ensure a fantastic week at the beach for me and the kids. Will definitely try to book this property again the next time we visit Myrtle beach.

Nice, clean place

We enjoyed our stay, but did try to limit how many times we came and went. There are 44 steps up to get to the apartment. Probably fine for young people but I wouldn’t recommend it for seniors. It was a short walk to the beach, and a very comfortable apartment. I wish the owner had texted or emailed the check in info instead of asking us to call him. He was difficult to get in touch with, and we were left waiting in the heat.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was right across the street from a beach access and our kids loved swimming in the pool. It was quite the climb to the top, but we enjoyed it our stay. We had plenty of room and lots of bath towels and wash clothes were provided. We would definitely stay again!

Great place over all!

Very convenient and accessible to everything! Great layout and having a washer dryer was awesome. The temperature inside was steady at 71 degrees, if you are someone who gets cold easily, bring warm nighties.

Great Quiet Location near beach

Great place to stay with easy and close access to the beach. Comfortable bedding and all the kitchen items you need. We stayed for a week and made several meals at home. Close to Barefoot Landing and Hwy 17 with tons of restaurants, mini golf, and surf/clothing souvenir shops. Parking is tight and stairs are somewhat steep and up 3 stories but no real problems for us.

Nice place across from the beach.

The property was nice. We were in Myrtle beach for a baseball tournament. About 10 minutes from the fields and across from the beach. The AC was nice and it had a full kitchen which was great for preparing meals for the day. Be aware of the stairs. This property is on the 3rd floor so if a climb up to the house every day will bother you this may not be the place for you. The owner is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Great location

Best part is the great proximity to the Beach, a one-minute walk across a very low-traffic street. We spent most of our time at the beach. Also got rental bikes just down the street (Beach Cruise Bike Rental), and had a great day kayaking Murrells Inlet (Crazy Sister Marina). Lots of restaurants on nearly Rt 17, which we visited, and many activities, but we didn't sample those. The unit is cozy, not spacious, from the kitchen to the combined eating and living area and the bedrooms. It's a walk-up to the third floor (plus one level up raised for flood protection). No elevator. One parking space under building. Unit was clean and everything worked -- cooking, coffee maker, dishwasher, laundry, bathrooms, AC, fans, TVs, WIFI. Landlord was easy to deal with.

This spot is just great to get away. quite safe and prefect for a snowbird and summer golfers, eat with fine restaurants nearby. fishing off the surf, and much more for the adventurer you Seak if golf is your thing plenty of that around you can't go wrong,

So many things to do and most are very close, the beach is the best for me, for the wife shopping at the barefoot landing, and the board walk with games and rides for the young at heart, if dinning out is your thing you won't be disappointed come have an adventure. please no bike trailers
