Appartement trĂšs bien situĂ©, on part Ă  pied pour visiter le centre-ville! À quelques pas de l’épicerie, pharmacie, etc.TrĂšs propre et la cuisine comporte tout le nĂ©cessaire. J’ai apprĂ©ciĂ© la qualitĂ© de la batterie de cuisine. Les propriĂ©taires ont la gentillesse de fournir le cafĂ© et les produits Rocky Mountain pour se laver. MalgrĂ© les commentaires prĂ©cĂ©dents, l’endroit est tranquille. Communication facile et rapide avec le propriĂ©taire. Je le recommande fortement!

This is a perfect and spacious place! Super clean, well stocked kitchen (with a good coffee machine and local coffee beans provided!) and the location is very convenient. In town, grocery store across the street and walking distance to trails, shops, bars and restaurants. We used the BBQ on the deck, and this was the best view we ever had during a BBQ! We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Property was convenient, well stocked, very clean, and comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We (4) stayed 4 nights and this Canmore house was a great home-base to visit Banff and surrounding areas. Only downside is if you are a light sleeper, the trains are loud and often.

We stayed a week and has no issues. The location was perfect! Grocery store right on the other side of the parking lot. There is even a grocery cart available to use to get your supplies to your room. The elevator is a nice option to have after hours worth of hiking :). The area was quiet, safe and the host very responsive. All pros when staying here. I have no cons to report except I didn't want to come home :)

This is a unique apartment for two bedrooms, a living room with a folded sofa bed and a kitchen is well equipped for a comfortable living. It's clean, quite and walkable to the grocery shopping center. Four of us are very happy with it and we have introduced this property to our friends who are planning to visit Banff in the future.

Great location to downtown Canmore! Very clean, comfy mattresses, and enjoyed the espresso coffee maker! Could have used a few more kitchen utensils and a working air conditioner. Having windows open at night cooled things off, but the train noise was a little loud.

A room with a view

Magpies Nest is a beautiful two bedroom condo. The bed mattresses weren’t to everyone’s liking. My eighty year old sister slept in a recliner. The kitchen was equipped with most essentials. It would have been nice to have an ice cream scoop and directions on how to use the fancy coffee machine. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Summer Getaway

Overall we rate the property high. The location was excellent. There were dust bunnies under both beds which led to a lower cleanliness rating. We ran out of kleenex with no replacement in sight. Toilet paper short in supply too. We recognize it was warm weather during our stay but the air conditioner was inadequate. Both bedrooms were very warm for sleeping.

Great place to stay for our ski trip.

Great place to stay in Canmore. We were able to walk anywhere in the city we wanted to go and easily drive to access the 3 nearby ski resorts. Loved the condo, well equipped and clean. We’ve stayed in Banff and Canmore for skiing and I think we prefer staying in Canmore even though the drive is a little farther to the resorts. This is a great place for a couple or two to stay and access everything the area has to offer.

Love this place!

Excellent. The condo was exactly as marketed. The coffee machine was so good I barely ever bought coffee out. The windows and drapes could adjust so that I could be living above a physio and alcohol store and across from a grocery store and not see them only mountains. It was the best. Was quiet and convenient. Highly recommended

Canmore is lovely

The nest in the Rockies is exactly that! My husband and I and our great friends Kevin and Susan, came here to see Banff Park. We were up early, hiked most days and it was wonderful to come back to the nest, have a nice fire and dinner to doit again the next day! The kitchen was well stocked, laundry room we put to terrific use and the location fantastic! So convenient and beautiful. Will definately be back!

Great Location and place to use as a base

We enjoyed Magpie"s nest, as we could walk to everything in Canmore and it was close all the destinations we wanted to see. We would stay again if we came back. Perfect for 2 couples. enough to all the destinations we wanted to see.

My name is Rob, and my wife is Martine. I came to the Rockies for a summer camp in 2000 and 2001. I immediately fell in love with the area. I took my wife on a road trip in 2004 and she had the same reaction. It took us 10 years to finally leave the province of Quebec and cross the country with our 3 young children to start a new life in Canmore. Since 2014, we call it home. We love to explore those mountains by foot. We’ve scrambled a few of them and are always looking for new peaks to explore. We now have a furry friend that follow us everywhere, Bernie. You can see him on some pictures. We’ve been sharing our passion for the mountain with our guest since 2015. It’s been an incredible journey that brought us to meet some amazing people.

Walking distance to groceries, restaurants, pubs, local shops and sports centre. We’ve put a lot of time to make sure this unit meets all your needs.
