Salt Creek Farmhouse est une ferme classique des annĂ©es 1920 restaurĂ©e sur 16 hectares avec tout le confort moderne! Rendez-vous Ă  Nashville en 10 minutes, parcourez notre sentier, faites un barbecue ou dĂ©tendez-vous sous le porche enveloppant ou prĂšs du foyer. Dort six personnes dans; deux chambres chacune avec un lit queen size et le grand canapĂ©-lit dans le salon. Serviettes, gants de toilette, draps, oreillers, couvertures, cafĂ©, glaçons, etc. sont fournis. Les chiens coĂ»tent 25 USD de plus par nuit et doivent ĂȘtre approuvĂ©s au prĂ©alable par la direction.

La propriĂ©tĂ© comprend 56 hectares, dont la plupart est boisĂ©e. Nous avons environ 15 acres de bois avec un sentier de randonnĂ©e, et le trou de pĂȘche est plus difficile d'accĂšs car il se trouve de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de Salt Creek.

Very nice property out in the country yet just minutes away from Scenic Nashville Indiana. We enjoyed the well maintained trails on the property. Highly recommended for a weekend trip to Nashville.

This is a beautiful property with lovely walking trails and very pet friendly. It's a rural farmhouse setting, and if you're lucky enough to have clear nighttime skies, the display of stars will be amazing. For us, the highlight of our trip was the kindness and graciousness of our host, Ken, who was accommodating to special needs in too many ways to enumerate and who went out of his way to help us in what turned out to be a time of crisis. I can't say enough about how kind he was but we would happily happily rent from him again.

Awesome property

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed the trail and my husband had a great time fishing! Brown County State Park is close and a must see there was also loads going on in town! The guest book with background on the property is a nice touch.

Great place and great host

Salt Creek Farm House was cozy, clean, and very well appointed. Location was great for busing family in Nashville. It was the perfect size for my friend and me and had a spacious kitchen with everything you could want. It was also well equipped to handle the snow we got over night (shovels, salt, broom). I look forward to staying there again in the future!

Peaceful Get-a-way

Very comfortable restored farmhouse. Well equipped and well maintained. Secluded but not isolated. The walking trails throughout the property were outstanding, with scenic views of Salt Creek. Owner Ken is very responsive.

One word - RELAXING

My dog, Penny and I had a relaxing stay. The trails on the property were perfect for morning and evening walks. The large jetted bathtub was a great way to knock the dust off and wind down at the end of the day. The location is far enough out of town to be restful but close enough to everything I wanted to do. I would rent again.

Peaceful countryside

Nice property away from town. Enjoyed TC Steele home, Farmhouse Cafe, Nashville and the state park. Home and property had charm. We enjoyed learning the history of the farm. Furniture and mattresses are well loved and need an update.

Secluded Farm close to Nashville Indiana, there was no access whatsoever to the outbuildings highlighted in the listing . Property was clean and well equipped . There is no cable only internet streaming.

Love the location and the era of the house.

A lovely home! We enjoyed the serenity and the beautiful home! It was very comfortable! We were disappointed that it isn’t a 3 bedroom house. It’s actually a 2 bedroom with a hideaway couch in the family room. Also, there is no hot tub as noted, it’s a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The cleanliness was lacking. Spider webs with their owners were in the corners of the downstairs bedroom. There was dust on all the furniture and baseboards.

Fun Getaway

Salt Creek Farm had everything that we needed, plus more. All directions were clear. We just walked in and were at home. Our special fondness was the setting. We enjoyed the fire pit for cooking Boy Scout style, the trails, the fishing hole where fish were plentiful, horseshoes, and the many spots for photographic adventures. The flocks of turkeys and paw paws(? )were new to us. I wrote more in your Guest Book in the living room. Thanks for the geode and suggesting we speak to Robin at the Gatesville General Store. Salt Creek farm was a great experience for 3 generations .

Charming historic farmhouse

We struggle with how to rate this property. On one hand this is a charming 100 year old farmhouse that we found upon arrival to be immaculately clean inside and out. The history of the property was very interesting and we enjoyed exploring the exterior buildings and grounds. The problem is the house sits very close to a two lane road. We found the daytime traffic ruined our ability to relax on the neat wrap around porch after our day of hiking and exploring BC. The traffic did settle down after 8-9 pm week days. Maybe this bothered us more than it would other people but we feel it’s worth mentioning. There were a couple other things that come with a home of this age but as stated it’s obvious there is pride in ownership here.

Perfect for our needs

Cute little place for a few mountain bikers to stay for a long weekend. Place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in showers. Not for from town. Really quiet!

Great experience!

We had a wonderful time at the farm. If you are looking for a country getaway this is it! Easy check in, nicely kept house, and property to walk on for acres. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back!
