The Best Fourth of July

Stayed over Independence Day with our extended family and absolutely had a blast on the water, in the sand, and enjoyed all the wonderful fireworks from all the neighbors and nearby lakes. We slept like rocks in the great bedrooms and made core memories with all the kiddos!

Summer get away

Loved the house and the proximity to the Chain of Lakes. The house had numerous outdoor activities to keep us all busy. Really a gem of a property for all ages.

Awesome family vacation!

This is a beautiful home in a nice location with a very accommodating owner, who was available for anything we needed. Both adults and grandkids had a great time, no need to go anywhere else with the abundance of water toys, great outdoor space, private, beach, and games. We will be back!

Inviting backyard

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Waylon’s VRBO. The house was comfortable and had plenty of room for us…four adults and a toddler and an infant. The backyard with the sandy beach and water was perfect for us, as was the huge deck area with the outdoor kitchen.

Chill spot

My brother and his friends just wanted a relaxing time away from the city so we tried this location and it was a good time. Very quiet and relaxing spot . Owner is cool and if you need anything he gets back to you right away .

You could not find a better home . Everything you could possibly need is furnished. Great sandy and swimming beach and very safe for children. We have gone to several places over the years and my grandchildren told me this is tops

Outdoor fun! Something for everyone!

This rental went smoothly from start to end, we had 10 people(6 adults and 4 kids). Everyone had a bed and slept well after all that outdoor activity.

Wonderful relaxing escape

The property is wonderful. We had a blast on all the included lake toys The Kayak's. canoe, paddle boat etc. The inside was immaculate and so very cool. Waylon really made a wonderful family and pet friendly retreat. We will be back again soon!! Thank you Waylon!!

Great amenities, location, and host!

This house was perfect for a long weekend with our group of 6 adults and one toddler. Outside provided great access to the water, privacy, and anything you could ask for- games, water sports, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, etc. The house itself is a beautiful construction, and also has all the amenities, technology, and more that we could have thought of. We had a chance to meet the host who was very friendly and gave us some local tips too. Thank you and would recommend!

U.S. Navy graduation

We are a military family coming from Texas and attended my son's graduation from the U.S. Navy boot camp. The house was not too far or too close from the base which we liked. We all enjoyed our stay at the house. It's beautiful and plenty of stuff to do for the kiddos. I just wished it was in a warmer weather. Waylon was great and very understanding. Thank you Waylon!!!

We had the most amazing fall break weekend adventure at Waylon’s home. We arrived late at night with the lights on, welcoming us, and the heat set up comfortably warm for the chilly night. We woke the next morning, refreshed after a great night’s sleep, and when we went outside, we saw that the pictures were on-point accurate for the backyard entertainment area: the kids were in awe. Pedal boating, canoeing, a fire pit area already set up ready for our use whenever we wanted to use it, and even a new package of marshmallow roasting sticks nearby. The kids loved running around the backyard, playing in the sand, swinging on the hammock, and we as a family loved roasting marshmallows at night and enjoying the stars. Waylon was always prompt with replies (like how to work the sauna since I’ve never used one before). A person in our group is now cost comparing options to get his own sauna after the three best nights of sleep he’s had in awhile with this sauna. We all left saying this trip was the right combo of relaxing, adventurous (both with activities right there and nearby), and was perfect for families: we could watch and hear the kids in the backyard from the comfort of the deck furniture. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks, Waylon! We hope to visit again.

Thanksgiving stay!!

Our family and friends had a wonderful time. We cooked a full thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The place is very cozy and the backyard had all the toys to entertain kids and adults. I definitely recommend this place!

Hidden Gem

This house is all that was written and more! The house was clean and fully stocked with whatever was needed. Water toys were there for us to use. This is house is the only one that has a beach. The fountain is beautiful to watch and keeps the area clean. Waylon was able to answer any questions quickly. I highly recommend this paradise and will be returning.

Great Stay!

We celebrated our parent’s 60th birthday with our family for a long weekend and had a great time! Waylon was a great host and provided so many great amenities for our stay! The house was absolutely beautiful and backyard/porch was probably our favorite part! Bonus.. we were able to bring our dogs, which is very hard when loving for a place to stay! We would recommend to anyone and hoping to visit again!

House was very clean. Appreciate the dish and laundry soap, shampoo, paper towels etc. loved the outdoor seating, fire pit, and water stuff. Beds were great.
