Great Getaway!

The house is very clean and thoughtfully put together, and the backyard is great with access to the water. The lake is very quiet, which made for a very peaceful few days. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway!

Both the property and the host were excellent. I was staying near my former home in order to visit with friends and family. The house was perfect for that. Everyone who came loved it. The decor is tasteful and inviting. Rock Lake is quiet and calm. With only electric motors permitted the lake provides a safe place to play and enjoy kayaks and SUP activities. My favorite part was the screened porch. What a perfect place to enjoy chatting, eating and reading while taking in the lake views. There was a big storm that left us without power for several hours. While this was not a problem for me, I appreciated the fact that Christle called to check on me and offer help. Her communication skills are wonderful and appreciated. This is definitely a home I would return to and would encourage you to try it too.

Family Vacation

Every year we plan a family vacation before kids go back to school. Rock Lake was centrally located so everyone could visit for a day or two. The lake access and park next door make it perfect for the under 7 group and the older group enjoyed all the lake toys. The porch was ideal for morning coffee and late day games. We would definitely like to come again.
The village actually brought new sand just for them!

What a great view from this beautiful home. Well lit, thoughtfully decorated and so clean. The updates are impressive and they provided everything you could need for a comfortable stay. I have a to admit, I was sad to leave this wonderful space.

We love this house, perfect size for the 4 of us. The patio was a great space. We used both kayaks and paddleboards and the small beach area just next door. Lake is nice and calm. Kids loved fishing off pier.House is so clean and has everything we needed. Definitely would love to stay here again!
