Boutique romantique Bolthole à Pittenweem près de St Andrews. Chiens bienvenus.

Kirkgate Cottage est un cottage de pêcheur traditionnel joli et original qui a été rénové pour créer une belle maison moderne. Il est situé au coeur du village de Pittenweem et une courte promenade à travers l'un des nombreux wynds vous amènera au seul port de travail dans l'East Neuk.
Kirkgate est moderne et a une vraie touche contemporaine qui se marie magnifiquement avec les caractéristiques traditionnelles du chalet.
Détendez-vous dans l'un des blousons en face de la belle poêle à bois avec un bon livre, pour regarder l'écran plat 32ins Sony TV avec Freeview, l'un des nombreux DVD ou tout simplement pour se détendre et écouter l'iPod via le système d'accueil BOSE .
WiFi gratuit et l'utilisation d'un Macbook pour les clients.
Si vous préférez rester à la maison et préparer une tempête, il y a une cuisine moderne très bien équipée pour vous aider. Avec tout ce que vous attendez de Le Crueset à Alessi et des livres de cuisine à un grill sandwich Panini.
En bas, la grande chambre dispose d'un lit double en frêne massif, d'une literie en coton égyptien impeccable, d'une station d'accueil pour iPod, d'un éclairage moderne et d'une petite télévision murale. Le bain de rouleau dans la chambre est parfait pour un bain relaxant après une longue marche.
Entièrement rénové et ultra moderne la salle de douche est spacieuse avec une douche à l'italienne. Il y a une sélection de gels Molton Brown et de lotions pour votre usage.
Vous pouvez choisir parmi l'un des forfaits de goodies que nous proposons pour rendre votre séjour plus confortable. A partir d'un panier de petit-déjeuner local, un pack de bois de chauffage indispensable ou Champagne / vin et des amuse-gueule. S'il vous plaît nous contacter pour les coûts.
À l'extérieur de la propriété, se trouve une petite zone pavée, où vous pouvez vous asseoir et regarder le monde passer.

We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable. The location is beautiful and perfect for exploring Fife. I would definitely recommend this and I definitely plan on coming back!

Charming property which was spotlessly clean, check in process easy as the host had explained in great detail all we needed to know. Nice location within easy distance of all attractions and local beaches which our wee dog loved. Really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely book again if staying in the area. We had a really lovely time and we couldn’t fault anything! The cottage was extremely well equipped and it was just like home from home! Including a wood burning stove! Communication with the host was excellent and we will most certainly return for another stay. The property is set in a beautiful area with lots of places to visit within a short walking or driving distance and a great area for dog walking too.

The cottage was lovely, clean and tidy when we arrived. A very homely feel and nice quiet location.Nice big shower, bath and log fire, all the things we were looking for. Down to the harbour in minutes, with coffee shops, pubs and shops a couple of minutes walk away.Couldn’t have asked for more.

The cottage was beautiful - very comfortable and well equipped with everything of good quality. We loved the location which was easy walking distance of cafes (both good) and a super restaurant by the harbour. The weather was wet and windy so the wood burning stove was lovely and cosy to come back to after being out and about. We had a great wee break.

Beautiful wee property

Loved the location and property. It was wee and cosy, quirky and arty and very dog friendly. We were blessed with good weather during our 3 days stay and indulged in a lot of coastal walking with our dogs.

Absolutely fabulous cottage, everything done to a high standard. The quality of the bedding was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The cottage was so well stocked. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in pittenweem totally recommend.

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, tips on how too get the most out of the wood burner would have been good and an explanation on how heating worked.

We are Cathy & Douglas and have now retired so enjoying all that the change of lifestyle has to offer!
We have been enjoying travelling abroad in our Motorhome since retiring and when not on the road we are in Edinburgh.... or Pittenweem!
We love the relaxation and peace and quiet in Pittenweem and the surrounding villages, but of course always manage a wee visit to St Andrews for a spot of shopping and a long walk on the beach.
We have a Cocker Spaniel - Bella who loves the Fife Coastal Path and keeps us fit.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We just loved the quirkiness of Kirkgate and the fact that it was for two. We wanted a bolthole that wasn't too far away, was modern and relaxing and after doing a fair bit of work on the cottage we hope we've achieved that.
My surname is Kirk and the fact that the cottage was already named Kirkgate Cottage and is on Kirkgate was an added bonus!!!! Haha....

Kirkgate is a quirky, pretty cottage. It's a quiet and relaxing wee place for two with all you need for a great romantic break.
We always feel refreshed after a few nights at the cottage and sleep great because it's so quiet.
There's a lovely roll top bath in the bedroom to have a soak after a long walk on the Coastal Path.
