Beautiful Cabin Stay

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and beautiful, in a nice location. Our mini-van didn't love the drive up the mountain to the location, and the parking is definitely not flat, but what do you expect for a cabin built on top of a mountain. Overall a lovely experience, where we made great memories!

Best Home away from Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We traveled with our infant of 8months and my parents who are older and was their first vacation in years (like 30+ years). We all had so much fun and such a relaxing stay. The cabin was gorgeous and very clean. It had everything we could’ve needed. The roads were a little narrow and steep to the cabin and parking but besides that everything was perfect and we loved the location! Swear we will stay at this cabin every time we visit Pigion forge!

Great stay

The cabin was clean and perfect for a secluded getaway. The best part was coming back after a tiring day and relaxing in the jacuzzi. We never ran out of any of the toiletries. We obviously took our own hair and body products. The cabin was easy to find. The only downfall was the parking. Had to park in a downhill position but the cabin was Definitely worth it!!

Cabin has great potential with beautiful decks and sun porch BUT in need of a good cleaning! Very dusty, spider webs and deck boards in need of repair. The interior is also in need of deep cleaning with dirty washcloth left in shower on arrival and also need for pest control - mice! The parking area is not for senior citizens - very steep! We did have a great time and enjoyed our stay and hopefully this review will be taken constructively. All items mentioned could be easily remedied with the exception of the steep drive and feel that potential visitors should know about this.

long and winding road

The cabin was amazing! The kids loved the pool table and hot tub. The views were great! The cabin had a very homey feel. Everything we needed was already there (except actual food to cook...). The only negative I have, and this is all my fault.. It was about 30 min to Gatlinburg. I did not look at the map well before booking. There also may have been a better route to take. We still loved the cabin and would definitely stay again.

Communication Challenged

Prior to arrival, the property manager was unresponsive to the 2 questions I sent. We did not receive information on how to access the house until the morning of checkin (which wouldn't have been a big deal if the property manager had responded to any of my inquiries, but since he didn't, i was concerned that we wouldn't be able to access the house upon arrival). There is NO Internet access at the house and cell service is limited. This makes it hard to research things to do in the area unless you research ahead of time. Regarding the house, we were looking forward to enjoying the outside decks/patios. However, there were cobwebs all over the outside as well as bird messes, so it just was not comfortable. Additionally, the septic tank was overflowing. The inside of the house was fine and our 10 year old enjoyed the pool table. I would not stay at this house again (we were charged the holiday rate), but the location relative to being able to get in and out of smokey mtn natl park was good.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated and so comfy. Had everything we needed. We knew the cabin was without wifi (we booked it this way on purpose to force our kids to enjoy the outdoors), but the entire mountain had very little cell service. We made it work though. It was a perfect vacay. We will be back!

Great Location/Beautiful Cabin

We had a great time enjoyed every minute, we even saw a bear in the front driveway next to our car on the last morning. very quite and peaceful, close to shopping right in the middle between Townsend, Pidgeon forge and Gatlinburg. just beautiful!

The "sportsman's" decor lend to the rustic feel of the cabin. All 3 beds (2 king and 1 sofa) were very comfortable. We spent 6 days here and the locations of the cabin allowed for easy travel to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. My family really enjoyed watching the fireflies at night on our drive back to the cabin and also at the cabin itself. I have 6 people in my family and the cabin was the perfect size!

Beautiful location

Check in was easy I received multiple emails from host randy we got our door code and was able to get access to the cabin before we arrived. Upon arrival the cabin is located up a hill in the mountains very nice scenery quiet location neighbors were quiet the cabin is private hot tub was very relaxing it is located down some steps we didn't mind. The cabin was clean and well organized everything you need is stocked at the cabin minus food there's no internet access which was perfect for us because kids live on internet and it forced them to enjoy nature and vacation activities overall we give it 10/10 wife and I are planning to rent this cabin in the future.

Great property , just need to let people know that the hot tub is in a place down stair with outside access from the rest of our house people who are older but that might not be a doable thing for them
