Perfect Stay in Seattle

Zia's house was the perfect place to stay while visiting friends in Seattle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the outdoor firepit was a great place to hangout and relax. Also a great location that's close to transit, shops, and restaurants.

The backyard cpuch, fir pit and hang out area was pur favorite feature of this place. It was clean and easy to check in to. Thanks for a great stay!

Great backyard, extra bonus blackberries in the summer!

Lovely house full of amenities! Backyard patio area was the highlight with fire pit, perfect for summer night hangouts with family. Extra bonus of wild blackberries in backyard and we were able to pick them every day, kids loved to do it and so delicious!

Holiday with the family

It is a great family house in a nice location. Great spaces for hanging out to eat, drink and play games. It was too cold to use the patio - but it's also an awesome space. Zia was quick to respond and even came over with snow shovels on slick roads during a rare Seattle snow storm.

Restful house

The house worked out really well for us. We were staying here while a loved kne was in the hospital for a surgery and recovery. Drive to hospital was an easy 15 minutes away. Nice quiet neighborhood. Even walked to the hospital one day. Area didnt feel like a big city at all felt comfortable. Easy access to grocery store and shopping. House was cozy and just perfect for our needs Owner was great to work with even allowed us to to stay a couple of extra days when our family member wasnt ready to get out of hospital. Thanks

This is unfortunate to hear. Guest stayed for a month and we only learn about this here on the ratings well after check-out. As a 5-star host, we would have resolved this immediately upon hearing about it. We have had the AC looked at and all is working fine. Perhaps guest was not aware of how to use the thermostat… As this is an older home, the AC system will not be able to freeze the place but makes it much more comfortable during the hot months. We have had 2 separate guests stay after, with no issues whatsoever. In fact, it is particularly rare to have AC in Seattle, so we are happy to be able to offer this to our guests.

House was exactly as described. The cleanliness of the house could definitely use some elbow grease! Spider webs all over exterior, dust bunnys in the interior, one bed had stains on the sheets. Overall experience was positive with no issues.

Place was great for our large family. Adult kids slept on the sofas and futons with no problem.

Zia is a great host. Home was easy to rent great signage on the various key elements in the home. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Family wedding in Seattle

My husband and I booked this house for us and our two sons and their families to attend our daughter’s wedding in Seattle. We enjoyed plenty of room, perfect location and the air conditioning! The house was very clean with an easy check in and out process . We enjoyed our stay!

Coming back for grill season

The house was exactly as described on the listing. Great space for small groups to gather and ample outdoor space for all ages (AND DOGS 🎉). The host was quick to respond and had provided all stay information (I.e. check-in/out instructions, WiFi, host notes) in easily accessible locations and group spaces. The basement is an amazing group space and I only regret not making a fort during our stay. The backyard was where we spent most of our time, with lounge furniture and a fire pit to enjoy year round. Last, but certainly not least, this location is OUTSTANDING. Very close to parks, water, and university district. This is a must stay!

Snowmageddon Staycation

Stayed at this wonderful rental over Valentines weekend during the recent snowstorm. Very well kept, nicely equipped and ample space to sprawl out both indoors (upstairs & downstairs) and outdoors. Rental sits on a corner next to a street with a bus route. Although we would hear an occasional bus pass by, our entire stay was quite comfortable. Zia was very accommodating and very prompt to respond to messages. We will be back in the future.

Comfy stay in North Seattle

My first impression was that the place exceeded our expectations. Lots of elegant touches, very nicely appointed, and very warm and comfy. We loved the outdoor space and it was perfect for visiting during COVID - a warm firepit and plenty of comfy couch space for social distancing outdoors even on a rainy day. No nearby restaurants but there is a decent coffee shop just a few blocks away and the Meadowbrook Pond is a nice place for a short walk a few blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet. Others have comments, and I agree, that the main road can be noisy but only when you're outside. Inside I couldn't hear a thing. The kitchen was well appointed with most of the things one would need to cook and all in good shape. I didn't love the fact that we had to pay an insurance fee plus a deposit, but given the quality of the place, I guess it's understandable. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Back porch is so nice to ha g out on!

We were here more or less quarantining ourselves so mainly we hung out in the basement or the back. I had forgotten how noisy Big city busses can be but we could only hear them outside and the porch was so nice we didn’t mind.

Great place for short or extended stay

Great house!

Spacious and clean house located in a quiet neighborhood close to Seattle. My group had 10 people and there was more than enough room for everyone to stay. There was great communication with the host, Zia, and he was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this house!
