Très bel appartement dans la capacité de construction de Torre Forum comprendra de préférence pour une famille (maximum 5 personnes). Situé en bord de mer. Près de Port Forum. À 500 mètres du centre commercial Diagonal, à 200 mètres de la plage du Forum et du Port Forum. La Rambla de 4 km. La station de métro la plus proche à 7 minutes à pied. 3 chambres - une en suite, une chambre avec deux lits et une chambre avec un lit. Un total de 5 lits. Terrasse de 13 mètres carrés. Bassin. Parking 15 euros par nuit.

Disappointed at the end

Property is OK by itself but be aware. Area is not the best. Tons of garbage on the streets, noisy at night. The most disappointing was the 200 euros charge by the property owner for the damage we did not cause. There is a leaking AC drain in the master bathroom's ceiling so the floor was constantly wet and it caused door trim damage. Owner decided that its our responsibility to pay for it. Getting back the money is practically impossible - no response from owner nor customer support. Beach is 5 min away but hard to find if you don't know where to go. There is no shade on the beach and no beach rentals near by. Beach is not crowded which is nice, the drawback is two factories right next to it, water seems very clean though. The closest subway is about half a mile away so as supermarket or breakfast place. Tramway station is near by.

I'm sorry that this happened during the period of Igor's stay. In fact, the door frame was spoiled for them. Otherwise, the claims would be presented to the other guest. Guests were advised not to use the air conditioner for a long time (more than 1-2 hours in a row). But the guest did not want to get up in the middle of the night and turn off the air conditioner. As a result, the door frame was soaked and subsequently damaged. In fact, the apartment windows are located on 4 sides of the world, the apartment is well ventilated. There is no need to use the conicer for a long time. Garbage on the street has nothing to do with the apartment. Guests stayed in the apartment during the most important holiday in Spain "SANT JUAN", during this period all residents use pyrotechnics, as well as today, July 4 in the United States of America. On normal days this is a very quiet place.

I will never rent from this property ever, again. I was advised two days before the leaving the States. I would have to pay $90 for check-in mind you this is an apartment not a hotel. $70. for an estimate Electricity. $84.on tourism tax, not sure why If we only renting an apartment. And $105.for parking. I called Vrbo and filed a complaint on being charge for $70. for Electric is crazy! The representative called the Owners to confirm, and it was true. Vrbo stated to me the owners were in Violation on their agreement. Electricity should come with the apartment and shouldn't be charging their guest. the next day, one day before we fly out to Spain. The owner attempted to charge me for the electricity. Since it was the day before traveling and I couldn't cancel the Vrbo (No refund). I went ahead and paid for the $105.parking, $70. for electricity and the tourism tax. I wasn't happy, and she offer me a discount on the electricity and the tourism tax. I wasn't complaining to get a discount. they failed to realize it they Informed us at the last minute, and it was the principle. Next time I rather pay an actual hotel. I know the parking will be free and I don't have to pay electricity. other than that. the area was nice.

Stay for conference at CCIB (International Convention Center of Barcelona)

The apartment was clean and simple with modern appliances. The host had someone waiting for me when I arrived. There is a grocery store right across the street and it was about an 8 minute walk to the convention center (down 2-3 long blocks) which was a perfect way to start the day before the conference. There is a lap pool but it was closed because of the season. You cannot go directly down to a beach because there is an outdoor activity (skateboarding, etc.) park near the water and a harbor, but there is a walkway parallel to the water's edge and it looks like beaches are not far. Because it was winter, I didn't spend time finding a nearby beach but walked the beaches in Barceloneta. The apartment is at the northern edge of Barcelona, so not in the center, but it was just what I needed for the conference and 0.6 km from the metro and right next to a tram line so lots of public transportation options to get around town. Barcelona was lovely!

Very Comfortable Stay

We were lucky to find such a large and comfortable apartment. We were there for 3 weeks at Christmas and New Years. The apartment has 3 bedrooms (we used 2) with comfortable beds. There were extra pillows and bedding. Plenty of towels and a nice hot shower. We enjoyed the large ceiling to floor windows. For summer visitors there is a blind you can use to keep sun out, but in the winter we enjoyed the light. There is a very nice balcony where we sat for coffee and evening drinks. It was a relief to have supplies when we arrived - cooking spices and coffee as well as dish soap and laundry soap and plenty of toilet paper. All much appreciated. The clothes washer was in the kitchen and nice to have for our extended stay. As long as a vacuum cleaner if you are there for a long time. We ate in every morning and quite a few nights too, and didn't have any serious issues with pots and pans etc. The kitchen is really nice with a large window that opens up. The living and dining room were also used quite a bit and we had no issues. The t.v. is all in Spanish or Catalan, but we didn't mind. The wifi was excellent. As far as the location goes, it is not right in the centre of Barcelona, but it was easy to take a taxi anywhere. There was a neat bike rental system that you might want to look into before you come though as you need to register. We ended up using the metro after a week. The station we used was about a 10 min walk up the street, and could get almost anywhere within 1/2 hour or less. Easy system to use, buy the card of 10 (or 12) as it is much cheaper. For groceries there is a corner store right across the street that has everything, even alcohol. We often shopped there but you will have more choice if you walk to the mall where there is a much larger store (10-15 walk) It was excellent. Found a great bakery on the same street as the apt on the way to the metro station. We could walk to the beach in 5 min? Too cold to swim when we were there but it looked like it might be a nice place in the summer. Also, there was a marina there and a number of restaurants. We had a great vacation and this apt was a great place to have our base. If you want a bit more space and don't mind public transit, then go for it!
