Bienvenue Ă  Highlands Cottage. Ce chalet joliment dĂ©corĂ© est une chambre avec 1 lit King size (avec tĂ©lĂ©vision), 1 salle de bain, 1 Ă©tage d’Ellijay Georgia, une cabane qui accepte les animaux domestiques (pas de frais d’animal) et une grande cour clĂŽturĂ©e. Vous ne voudrez plus jamais quitter. Highlands est situĂ© au bord d'une jolie montagne et constitue une escapade romantique parfaite pour se dĂ©tendre. DĂ©tendez-vous sur la balançoire ou lisez dans les fauteuils Ă  bascule surplombant la vallĂ©e luxuriante et les montagnes environnantes. Un sentier de randonnĂ©e dans la vallĂ©e mĂšne Ă  une crique (environ 15 minutes de marche). AprĂšs le dĂźner, bercez-vous sous le porche ou plongez-vous dans le bain Ă  remous si isolĂ© que vous pouvez le porter en option sous un belvĂ©dĂšre Ă©clairĂ© au clair de lune et aux Ă©toiles. Highlands Cottage est une cabine rĂ©servĂ©e aux adultes (aucun invitĂ© de moins de 25 ans). Pas de chats s'il vous plaĂźt.

It was perfect for a weekend of relaxing and watching football with a cozy fire. We loved walking through the neighborhood and seeing some festive lights! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat there!

Easy check-in. Did wish the property had a few more kitchen basics like olive oil for pans, a few basic seasonings/dried herbs would be nice. Overall great though.

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect for our short getaway. We especially felt secure allowing our fur baby free to run around in the enclosed areas without a leash but with our supervision. Everything was clean and tidy. I wouldn’t have known it was a pet friendly cabin if not for the description and complementary pup treats! The extra deck with the hot tub and solar lights were also a plus. We definitely look forward to visiting again!

Wonderful

We had an amazing and romantic birthday weekend. We didn’t use the fire pit because the steps were very steep and narrow. The road to get there was one car wide mountain side which was a little rough. Everything else was wonderful!

Absolutely Amazing!!

My husband and I came for a quick getaway for my birthday. Hands down my best cabin experience. If you have fur babies and want a quaint and quiet getaway, this is perfect! Very clean and extremely dog friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. If you cook, they have everything you need. Highland Cottage is beautiful!! And your fur babies will feel right at home. We can’t wait to go back!!❀

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very small; however it did have a king size bed, and the furniture in the family room was comfortable. We had our dog with us and even though the yard was fenced, it was a horrible lot. We didn't use the hot tub; it was dirty with debris floating in it and not the best smelling. It should be drained and cleaned (they say it is after every stay, it's not). Last there is no view, unless you like trees. I wouldn't stay here again.

The cabin had everything we needed to cook, there was plenty of space to move around. The porch areas were great, saw plenty of deer. The grill was clean and ready to use. Amazing Birthday

My wife and I stayed 4 nights along with our pup for my birthday. We had an amazing time. The cabin was cozy and just right for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub in the early morning and evenings. We drove the wifes car and had no issues getting up to the cabin even as low as her car sits. The fenced in yard was perfect for our boston terrier. We are already looking to book our next cabin for our anniversary...Sliding rock cabins are definitely the way to go if you have pets!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several cabins that Sliding Rock offers that are pet friendly. Of them all, this one was not our favorite. While it was clean and they provided items for our pets, the bathroom sink was severly clogged, not allowing water to drain for hours after use. The stairs going down to the hot tub are very steep and my small dogs were unable to navigate them so most of the yard was unusable to us. There appears to be a potential electrical issue as the lights in the cabin sporadically flicker and outlets sometimes don't work. The main TV in the living room does not have smart capabilities leaving us unable to watch Nexflix, HULU, etc unless we wanted to sit in the secondary bedroom on a twin daybed to watch. There are plenty of wild animals to be seen and the screened porch is a big plus. WE will use Sliding Rock again, but it will be in a different cabin.

We brought our dog with us and they were SO sweet to set up an area just for her and leave treats and toys! The surrounding area was breathtaking! Sitting in the hot tub while listening to nature was such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ellijay!

Mountain heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin for the two of us. We recently lost ourdog who came with us for the last 11 yrs, so of course we missed having him with us. Deer visited us every morning and evening. We counted 14 in all. We went hiking every day and went into Blue Ridge for ice cream. We did lock ourselves out one day and Sliding Rock sent someone immediately to our rescue. They are so great and we will continue to come back and stay with them as often as possible.

The surrounding country side is gorgeous. I was unnecessarily concerned about the road in as we have a Prius with low clearance and Google maps was active the whole way in. We look forward to visiting again

Vacation for the Fur Baby.

This cabin is just what thr Doctor ordered. Wonderful peaceful walks, and screened in porch and fenced in yard to let your pup wonder free. Very nice.
