The view every morning watching the sun comes up is beautiful with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Love the fenced in area for the doggos so we don't have to worry about them getting into trouble investigating the area. The cabin has every amenity that we needed and we really enjoyed the fireplace. Looking forward to staying again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed here numerous times as it is convenient when my cabin is being worked on and I don't want to be in the workers way. Fantastic views and location, however entering the driveway is always an adventure even for someone who's been here a few times. Main complaints: Overall cleanliness was pretty poor. Top of refrigerator was caked in dust as was the AC return in the living room and the downstairs bathroom had numerous old cobwebs and light fixture had dead bugs in it. Grill is in poor working order, but grilling is always a treat at this home. The beds are extremely comfortable and their pet policy is fantastic. Office staff responsive and always lovely to deal with, especially GM Kathy and Julie

We loved the view so being stuck due to the rain wasn't a big deal for us since that's what we come here for the view and being to get away from everyone.

View is everything.

We loved this cabin. The drive up and down the mountain is pretty steep and bumpy takes about 12 ish minutes up and down.considering it’s a dog friendly cabin, they clean very well and love they provide the sheets to cover any furniture. My only complaints were small things they need to do for maintenance like the blind sticks missing, the recliner is on its last leg and there’s most likely mold in bathroom downstairs that should be addressed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cabin!!

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is adorable! We relaxed on the porch swing, spent time in the hot tub and did some antiquing in town. One of the most important things to us is that the cabin was very clean! We will definitely be back!

The view is probably the most beautiful we have had, and we have stayed at several other Sliding Rock cabins. The road up to the cabin is a little rough, but the directions were excellent and even though it rained the entire time, we had no problems getting to and from the cabin. My only suggestion would be a little more light inside the cabin would be helpful. It was almost impossible to read in the evening. The upstairs bed was very comfortable, and overall it was an excellent experience. Don’t hesitate to visit Nativa!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed with another couple and there was room to have privacy for each family. Enjoyed the GORGOUS VIEW off the back deck. Had all supplies we needed. Our two dogs felt right at home and were able to use the fenced yard. Only recommendation is to be sure you bring a vehicle that can climb steep hills, as this is at the very top of the mountain! We were in a four-wheel-drive, so we did OK. Just be aware.

Enjoyed the fresh air, access to hiking, and the fenced area for the dogs was great. Experienced problem accessing WIFI which required contacting property manager and satellite TV was not functioning (never resolved). Overall visit was great for a recharge and the cool weather and hot tub were a great combination.

Outstanding

We brought a Christmas tree, battery operated candles, wreaths, and lights. After decorating, it felt like staying in a Christmas card. The bed was very comfortable, and the heater worked very fast. There was a meteor shower during our stay that we watched from the hot tub, which was an amazing experience. The only thing we could’ve complained about is that the hot tub cover, and that part of the deck were covered in bird droppings, not just a little, but so much we wore gloves to remove the cover, and stepped directly from shoes into the tub. I tried to clean the cover, but the droppings were too dried on to clean without soaking.

Perfect Getaway

We drove up from the Atlanta area late in the day, so our drive was mostly in the dark. Though the last few miles were a dirt mountain road, we took it slow and had no problems. My husband only had to put the truck in 4WD to back into the driveway (because our nose was pointing downhill at that point). We chose this particular cabin because the deck was completely enclosed off the ground, so we could take the dogs out and not have to worry about them getting by a barrier or something. Though we packed our own toys, dog bed, treats, and bowls, the cabin had all of those things. They even provided gates to block off areas as needed to help contain the pups. Side yard was fenced for bathroom breaks, so it was very convenient. Again, would absolutely book another stay here. The view was amazing, and the cabin and hot tub were clean.

Nativa is our favorite and even noticed some upgrades since our last visit. Views are amazing and it is very quiet and private. Cabin even had a backup generator which came in handy when we lost power in a storm. You won’t go wrong with rents from Sliding Rock!!

VERY PRIVATE and all the amenities you can ask for. I will say, if you do not have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle it will be tough to get to, but a very fun drive. There is also national park hiking trail walking distance away.

We arrived post a major storm and many were without power. This cabin had a generator thankfully. The power was back on within 5 hours. Great hiking close by and many dog friendly restaurants as well. We loved the hot tub as well after our long hikes.
