We loved the location and the piece and tranquility. Th restaurant on site needs developing and a proper bar sited so that more residents could stay on site at night and have a drink when they have eaten or just to chil. It’s a great up and coming site with lots of potential so excited to stay there agin in the future. Thank the owner for a great and well organised holiday.

peaceful apartment in a beach resort

The apartment is in a beach resort with easy access to a sandy beach, a large outdoor pool, and an indoor pool and jacuzzi. There is a water park and small playground for children. There isn't much within walking distance of the resort, so you need a car. It would be a good place for a family with children that wanted to disconnect. We never used the roof because it had no sun cover. We couldn't unpack completely because some closets were locked or already full. John replied to questions quickly.

Little Gem

The resort is beautifully maintained, clean and staff really friendly & welcoming. The beach is rocky but clean which is welcome as the majority of public beaches whilst sandy are disgustingly covered with cigarette butts, bottle lids and metal pulls; not great for any barefoot walks or sand castle building. There are lots of free activities on site, as well as pools and lots of open area so great for children to play out. There are stray dogs and cats around and whilst friendly most keep to themselves it is wise to educate children how to behave around them. The spa was lovely and 3/4 of us had treatments and would recommend. Very reasonable pricing and very good massages. Be aware that the Hamman spa treatment is carried out with you being virtually naked. This is a great base despite tucked away, an 1.5hr (approx) drive you can visit lots of attractions. The apartment, 2 bed rooftop apartment, fully equipped with everything we needed. Probably one of the best locations within the resort. A well stocked pantry, which we added to on departure of long life items to off set what we used. 2 tv’s that were never turned on by us, but I'm sure are welcome by others. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to soak up the sun, bbq, and socialise. Watch stunning sunsets and take in the views. All rooms were comfortable and we all slept well, we would definitely recommend and would come back.

Super appart dans beau resort

C'est un appartement très bien équipé dans un beau resort en Chypre du Nord. Les photos decrivent bien cette location. Propriétaire très gentil et très réactif. Super base pour decouvrir le pays.

Fantastic place

We stayed at John's apartment for 2 wks the weather was hot!!!! The apartment has everything you need and more besides, the area is lovely and unspoilt and it gave us a holiday that was relaxing and rejuvenating, you definitely need a car here we hired ours for kem hire in larnaca, they let you use your car in the north as well as south, we highly recommend johns apartment and will probably revisit in the future.

Very nice apartment in an amazing place to stay!

First of all, the complex is wonderful. This apartment is new, clean, spacious, very well equipped, it has a private parking space and an incredible sight from the roof. We stay here for one week and we had a great time: the resort is fantastic and all the staff was extremely kindly. Finally, John’s assistance has always been perfect. We’ll definitely came back again next year!

Perfect!

We had a perfect time at Thalassa Resort! Although coming in high Season it was so calm. There were most times not more than 10 people in the huge pool. At the beach even less. Every where sunloungers , hammocks and umbrellas free of charge. The staff was very nice and the prices more than reasonable. The Appartment itself was Clean, right sized for a Family with 2 Kids, who were thrilled with the waterslides. The Kitchen was well equiped . We really apreciated the A/C in every Room. Be aware that you will defintly need a car, if you're not just up to beach and Pool. John organized that perfectly for us , as well as the Transport from larnaca Airport. It was very comfortable to have Somebody waiting for you and get the car delivered right to the Garage. We do definatly recommend this property and the owner! Thank you very much!

Fantastic apartment and resort!

We stayed at John's apartment for a week and loved it! The resort is incredibly child friendly. Our 4 year old loved it! John was very helpful in the lead up to our stay and helped arrange a cot and hire car (complete with car seats for the children!). The pool was like a bath and perfect for young children. We hope to be back in the future!

Great place for a relaxing brake !

We have enjoyed our spring break in John's apartment very much. John has been a perfect host, arranging both taxi transport from an d to the airport and a rental car. He is quick to respond and very helpful. It is recommended to have a car available as the complex is fairly remote, so if you want to explore the island, you do need transport. At the same time this means that the complex is comfortably quiet and great to relax. Would recommend John's apartment without hesitation.

The apartment was great, it had all the facilities we needed and great complex. Recommended!!!

The apartment was quiet, spacious, lovely air conditioning, had a great roof terrace and was within a 2 minute walk to the beach, pool and waterslides. John was fantastic and always available to help if needed. The best thing about this complex was never having to fight for a sunbed, you could go down at any time and get one, which for main school holidays is amazing. The complex had so many things for kids, my 13 year old's and 2 year old had a whale of a time!! There's football goals, mini golf, bowls, tennis, giant chess, 3 brilliant waterside and it's all free!!! The pool has 2 baby pools and the main pool and they were like a warm bath, you could stay in them all day!! Bogaz has lots of lovely restaurants (recommend Kiyi and Kemal in yeri for more authentic food). Hilltop is also good but more English menu but always top quality. The value was amazing, for 5 of us we never paid more than £70 for a meal and that was pushing the boat out. We averaged about £55 normally which was 2 courses and drinks. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and complex to anyone. The weather isn't bad either!! 😊

Great apartment and complex

The apartment had everything we needed and the roof terrace was lovely. The facilities on the site were brilliant, my 3 kids loved it with a huge pool that was like a bath, water slides, football pitch, tennis courts, mini golf, games room and all free to use! The complex was a 15 min drive to a large supermarket and the restaurants in Bogaz were great, the food was lovely and really reasonably priced! The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time. John was really helpful with all questions and sorting our transfer and hire car.

Beautiful complex and lovely apartment.

Had a lovely time at Thalassa. The pool and beach areas are stunning and very peaceful. The apartment was lovely and we particularly enjoyed the views from the roof terrace. John was extremely helpful assisting us with airport transfers and car hire. We look forward to returning soon.

Excellent apartment, very quiet and relaxing

Very well appointed apartment in an excellent resort. Lots to do if you hire a car or you can chill out on the beach / on site bar & restaurant. I would recommend Northern Cyprus, lovely people, great food, fantastic scenery and beaches. With the Turkish Lire it's excellent value too.

Tolle Wohnung mit kleinen Abstrichen

Sehr schöne saubere Wohnung mit viel Komfort. Die Wohnung liegt in einer großen Anlage sehr weit außerhalb, Auto dringend erforderlich. Sie verfügt über viel Komfort wie Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Whirlpool auf der Dachterasse. Die Betten sind nicht so bequem, Platz in den Schränken ist knapp. Bettwäsche war sauber, hatte aber einen Brandfleck. Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt, aber bei unserem Aufenthalt wurde gerade sehr viel umgewälzt und gebaut. Es war daher relativ laut und der Pool war ohne Wasser. Zeitweise hatten wir keinen Strom, ohne informiert zu werden, obwohl man uns im Office auf Nachfrage mitteilte, das es geplant war.

to repeat!!

Wonderful place, what you see in the photos it's what you get! Very good apartment with a great great balcony, wonderful big swimming pool, gym and a perfect beach that was only for us with beds and sun covers! We spend a really perfect time there! The bar served very good food and the people are very nice. Also the places around is worth a visit and the location of the apartment is very good for that. For sure a place to come back. And also we would like to thank John who was very nice and helpful.
