The view from the living-room and deck was spectacular. It is beautifully decorated with detailed instructions. Everything was pristine.The host was responsive and helpful.There was plenty of room to park for multiple cars and the house to find.

Loved this spot! It’s private and quiet and well appointed. The king bed was super comfy. Michael, the owner was very gracious and communicative. He had great recommendations as well.The trail to the beach is gorgeous and an easy walk. The beach itself is pretty and very clean. We sat and sketched there for hours. Our personal recommendation is to visit the Celtic Heritage center in Judiche on Sunday afternoons for local culture and rousing Celtic music and dancing. Oh and btw everyone is super friendly and helpful.

We found this accommodation exactly as described on VRBI, Even better, Michael was very communicative and engaged and responsive. Probably one of the best hosts we ever had in our VRBO rentals. The view was spectacular. The walk to the beach was easy, took about 10 or 15 minutes. The beach was fantastic. And it was centrally located for us, easy to get up the coast or back onto the mainland as required. We would definitely rent here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the sunset villa. It was spacious and beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. Michael offered some great suggestions about the area. We enjoyed the walk to the beach on a blustery, cool day. The beach was private and gorgeous. We enjoyed watching deer in the early morning including a doe and very tiny fawn.There are lots of things to do in the area with many gorgeous beaches as well as golf at Inverness. All in all a wonderful stay!

Port Hood Getaway

We enjoyed our stay here while touring around Cape Breton. We highly recommend this place for people looking for a relaxing, spacious, private retreat, yet close to Port Hood and other areas of interest on the island.

Beautiful villa in a beautiful setting. The place was inviting, extremely clean, well organized and had very comfortable beds. Michael went above and beyond in communicating with us and also gave us lots of info as to sights to see and places to go. Would highly recommend this place.

The house was very clean. Comfortable, attractive furnishings and beautiful views. Had everything we needed. Appreciated the dining and activity suggestions made by the owner and the ease of check-out. Keltic Tour

We were two couples touring cape breton; the Collingwood villa was a great place to regroup and rest for 2 days ; place had amazing pristine beach and beautiful sunsets; great spot to visit the local attractions in Mabou and Port Hood . Definitely a must stay if your in the area ; and a bonus wss thw 10 /lbs lobster down tje road

Beautiful spacious pristine property, inside and out. Everything needed was provided - towels, dinnerware, appliances, beach chairs, fans.... Convenient access to everything, beautiful, quiet beach, nice walking road, stunning sunsets. Would highly recommend and would love to return!
