Petite cabane prĂšs du parc Ponderosa, du parcours de golf McCall et du lac Payette

Cette cabane en rondins confortable nichĂ©e dans les bois est un endroit parfait toute l'annĂ©e pour une escapade McCall. À seulement environ un mile du centre-ville de McCall et juste Ă  l'extĂ©rieur du parc d'État de Ponderosa, vous n'ĂȘtes qu'Ă  quelques minutes de l'accĂšs au lac Payette dans les deux sens. Brundage Mountain est Ă  environ 25 minutes en voiture pour les activitĂ©s hivernales populaires.

Pendant les mois les plus chauds, louez un jet-ski, un bateau, des kayaks ou une planche Ă  pagaie Ă  la marina de la ville ou profitez de Davis Beach en bas de la rue. Le parc d'État de Ponderosa est un endroit idĂ©al pour la randonnĂ©e et le vĂ©lo, ainsi que pour la pĂȘche. Le parcours de golf McCall est Ă  proximitĂ© si vous cherchez quelque chose Ă  faire hors de l'eau.

En hiver, il y a bien sĂ»r la montagne Brundage pour les descentes, mais il y a aussi de nombreuses pistes de ski de fond et des locations de motoneige qui peuvent ĂȘtre trouvĂ©es en ville. La patinoire du centre-ville est toujours un bon moment!

Cette cabane en rondins de deux Ă©tages a une cuisine rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et un comptoir en granit. La cuisine est bien garnie de vaisselle et d'ustensiles pour accueillir la cuisine et la salle Ă  manger, avec une table de salle Ă  manger pouvant accueillir 6 personnes. Le salon a un poĂȘle Ă  bois, deux causeuses et un fauteuil inclinable, TV avec cĂąble et lecteur DVD, et il y a Internet sans fil. Les matelas Ă  l'Ă©tage Ă©taient neufs en 2016, offrant un endroit confortable pour passer la nuit. Un nouveau matelas en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de forme «Caspar» Queen Costco a Ă©tĂ© installĂ© dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussĂ©e en septembre 2019. Il y a un petit patio avec table pour quatre et barbecue Ă  gaz dans la cour arriĂšre rustique. Un abri de voiture 1 voiture attachĂ© protĂ©gera votre vĂ©hicule contre les Ă©lĂ©ments.

We stayed over Christmas and it was such a cozy and sweet cabin which was equipped with a Christmas tree. The check-in was so easy and the location was gorgeous and close to so many beautiful trails and walkways.

With the exception of the killer deer that attacked my dog while sitting on the patio, overall stay was great! Kinda needs a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs in corners and dust bunnies under furniture, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. (Might want to think about a new mattress in downstairs bedroom. Was like trying to sleep on a hammock -lol)We had a great time though. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute little cabin!

Great time at the Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay, and were very happy they allowed us to bring our dog family with us! The only negative I would say, is that the home isn’t the cleanest
and there was a pet urine smell that was pretty strong upstairs. Other than that, being walking distance to a beach was great!

Fun McCall Stay!

Such a cute little cabin to stay for a weekend. Some spots weren’t super clean but beds were comfy and location is incredible. Perfect little stay!

Winter carnival

Overall, it was a nice cozy cabin, we did find a little dust, and one blanket would leave brown little furball‘s on the bed and on you, it was a older blanket. I would recommend getting rid of it. I would stay at this cabin again.

So close to everything, and still quiet

Cute little cabin. On the road too Ponderosa State Park so the only traffic is park traffic or residents. Very quiet. Ready walk to the park or to downtown.

Little cabin in great location

Little cabin was perfect for our stay. It’s located close to town, Davis beach and Ponderosa park. No air conditioning but plenty of fans.

McCall Vacation

Our stay at our rental was perfect. We liked the walking paths in the park and the short distance to the beaches. We loved being able to bring our dog, but dogs are not aloud on beaches so that was a little inconvenient. We have no complaints about our cabin. Nice, clean, and cozy !

Time Capsule of Mountain Charm

The Little Cabin at Ponderosa Park is a time capsule of McCall. Blending old with new the charm of this cabin is the feel of days gone by. Although the kitchen has been updated with new appliances the rest of the cabin has kept its charm from the past providing an authentic experience of a little cabin in the woods. The Little Cabin provided a cozy retreat during my stay with the first of the season’s snowfall. Statically located within walking distances of Davis Beach and Ponderosa State Park Visitor Center you could easily ditch the car. Downtown McCall is a 10 minutes’ walk away.

Cozy and Nice location

The only con I have for the whole thing is I thought there was three bedrooms, but one of the rooms was a loft with a bed in it, and you had to walk through it to get to the other upstairs bedroom. Travelling with an infant, we wanted a third bedroom to give us some space but didn't have that. THe other thing was that the floors was super gross. Anyone with a toddler gets to see how dirty floors are as they crawl around or spill their snacks from the chair, and the floor was really nasty. Overall the property was nice and would be really great for a smaller family with a couple kids or what not, and its location is really good. Just a little small for our needs it turned out. The property management was very responsive while we were there and I appreciate that.

Short walk to the park. Short drive to town. Very convenient. Two bedrooms are upstairs and not listed as that on the site and was ok for us but might affect others. This cabin is well equipped.

Great little cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. Comfortably fit my wife and I plus our 3 kids (ages 6-11) and dog. Location right outside Ponderosa State Park was perfect. Rode our bikes to the park to enjoy the beach and trails. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice little cabin.

Stayed for over a week. Relatively nice place, great location. Definitely rustic and simple, but it was clean and comfortable. Cabin can be a little warm on summer days. Everything was in working order. Would stay again.

Great location cabin needs work

The cabin is at a wonderful location. There is some minor repair work that needs to be done. They aren’t big things but the fact that they aren’t done is annoying. The front door sticks badly, the front deck needs replaced and the device holding up the trap door to the second floor is unsafe.

Would Never Recommend

Front door sticks 1/4 open. Nail heads trip you on shakey porch. No directions for live tv use. Many spider webs in 1st floor bedroom 3 feet from your head. Bathroom door blocks toilet. No water pressure in kitchen. Patio filthy. No dishwasher . Broken cooking utensils. Crusty toaster. Pictures very deceiving. Basically unrentable until much work and cleanup. Sorry. Extremely disappointed.

Great location, unclean during covid?

First off, the location of the cabin was great, close to Payette Lake and to downtown McCall. However the cleanliness of the cabin was highly concerning, especially during a pandemic. Upon entry, we noticed sand and what looked like confetti left over from a bachelorette party. Which lead us to question, “what else isn’t clean?” This was after we had inquired about arriving slightly before check-in, with the hopes of dropping off our luggage, so that we could enjoy the town w/o our items in a rental car. Management said “no, to allow for their cleaning service to thoroughly cleanse the cabin”... Yea right! We decided to whip down the surfaces and door knobs ourselves. Plus the trash can (which is rodent/bear proof) was practically full. Making us take the trash to a dumpster, so that animals wouldn’t get into it. Nice cabin, terrible hospitality.

Great Getaway

The cabin was comfortable, close to the state park and lake. The weather was perfect. A couple of improvements needed: better lighting in the living/dining area and cleaner towels (kitchen towels had wood pieces/lint on them and bathroom towels are really stained). Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.
