Escapade au lac Flathead!

Notre maison est à Woods Bay, un endroit spécial situé sur le lac Flathead immaculé du nord-ouest du Montana. Les vues depuis le quai sont spectaculaires sur le lac et les montagnes environnantes. Le lac Flathead est le plus grand lac d'eau douce à l'ouest du Mississippi. Il couvre plus de 191 miles carrés avec des profondeurs de plus de 380 pieds et est l'un des lacs les plus propres au monde.

La ville de Bigfork est un endroit pittoresque et charmant. Des galeries d'art de classe mondiale, de bons restaurants, un parcours de golf de 27 trous, un théâtre en direct et des boutiques uniques se trouvent tous dans un cadre occidental pittoresque. Situés à proximité, le parc national des Glaciers, les zones Bob Marshall et Swan Wilderness regorgent d'animaux sauvages et offrent d'innombrables possibilités de loisirs aux amateurs de plein air. Bigfork vous offre ainsi qu'à votre famille une partie de l'Occident que vous n'oublierez jamais. De nombreux sentiers de randonnée sont à proximité de la propriété. Plusieurs restaurants accessibles à pied, location de kayaks à proximité.

Great stay in Woods Bay!

The property was immaculately clean and fully stocked with everything you’d need! The owners, who were very nice even left a welcome gift of a bottle of wine in the refrigerator for us! Front row for fireworks on the 4th of July was a bonus! We’d love to stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The space was perfect for 2 people and was very well equipped with all amenities. The bed and couches were super comfortable and the lake views and access to the private dock were amazing. Also, very close by to a few great restaurants and pubs literally across the street! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this apartment and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved the area with restaurants and beach within a short walking distance. We will be back!

Wonderful property in a great location!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The location is fantastic – it's situated in a great spot on Flathead Lake with the dock and water easily accessible just across the street. The property itself is nicely equipped, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It has a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Additionally, there are plenty of fun places to eat and drink nearby, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Stay was too quick, apartment was lovely

Even though the entire area lost power my first night there, it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were excellent at communication even without power. Very clean, had everything I needed and access to the beautiful rock beach across the street was the icing on the cake.

This property is clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of Flathead Lake. Close to a few places to eat and grab a refreshing drink. You are close to the HWY so you do have traffic noise. Over all it was a relaxing stay. The patio deck is perfect for a relaxing sunset evening.

Flathead Getaway

We enjoyed our time reading and relaxing on the deck and with a quick walk across Hwy 35 down on the dock. The Swan Lake Nature Trail in Bigfork was delightful. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Recommend the Bonfire restaurant. They had local live music on Saturday night, very enjoyable. The Echo Lake Cafe is well worth the trip for breakfast.The best Huevos Rancheros.

Great little place near Bigfork

Tiny place, but perfect for one or two people. Communication with the host was perfect - they were very responsive to my questions; felt like they really cared everything went well. I was concerned there might be excessive traffic noise given that it's not far off the main road around the lake. It was absolutely quiet - and I'm admittedly overly sensitive to it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bigfork (Woods Bay) Gem

Great location. Super lake view. Facilities were good. Plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glassware, tableware, etc. Nice to have several places to eat within 2 minute walking distance. The sheer curtains in the living room are nice, but could also use privacy curtains. Nice couch and love seat, though they do sag where the back cushion meets the seat cushion. Would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.

Location!

This separate apartment (connected to the main house) is across the highway from Flathead Lake- with a private beach access. My husband and I enjoyed our 4 night stay with our 1.5 year old. The beach was wonderful, definitely a steep edge to the water. The place is right next to three different restaurants- our favorite was Bonfire. We found out that one of the bars does karaoke on Friday/ Saturday nights… it does get a little loud but nothing we couldn’t handle! The weather was perfect- 85 and sunny. The owners were very nice and Montana-friendly.

The place is great because of access to lake restaurants and the private dock. It was close to lakeside but a bit too far from whitefish and glacier for the short stay we had. The fishing off the pier is great we caught 5 and threw them back. We will go back for sure!

Joyce was a fantastic host, very friendly and communicative. The property was perfectly situated with amazing private lake access. We visited over the fourth of July and you could see fireworks all over the lake, incredible front row seat! Flathead lake is so clear and clean. It was great to be able to take a dip right out our front door. There are 3 restaurants right next to the property; all of them were great. Short drive into Big Fork with plenty of options as well. Glacier is only about a 45 min away. Amazing value for the price all around. I would highly recommend this property!

Joyce is an excellent communicator and the property is as described. Perfect for a couple to get away, beautiful view of flathead lake, a couple eateries within 1 minute walking distance (we like The Sitting Duck), and the unit was spotless).

Great Stay

Property was clean and in great location. The view of the lake was awesome. We enjoyed the deck. It was nice having restaurants across the street. We were not there a lot but it was perfect for us, very cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Owners were great and responsive.
