Débranchez, détendez-vous et enfoncez-vous dans cette cabane paisible et ses environs! Profitez de la solitude de la nature tout en bénéficiant de tout le luxe de la vie moderne. Situé sur un hectare, à environ cinquante pieds des berges invitantes de la rivière Susquehanna et de la jonction de Moshannon Creek, à côté de la nature sauvage de Quehanna à Karthaus, en Pennsylvanie, c'est VOTRE endroit! Une belle vue sur la rivière et les montagnes, une terrasse arrière pour dîner, lire ou profiter de votre café du matin, de grandes fenêtres donnant sur la rivière et de nombreuses possibilités d'activités de plein air à votre porte.

Notre refuge de deux étages est dans un cadre charmant et calme, avec des unités de climatisation adéquates, une cuisine entièrement équipée, 1, 5 salles de bain, un salon spacieux avec des plafonds cathédrale, des poutres apparentes, une stéréo surround / intérieure à l'extérieur pour régler l'ambiance, une grande terrasse avec grill au propane. Faites comme chez vous dans toutes les parties de cette belle cabane, le pont arrière et la rivière environnante et des hectares de belles terres boisées.

Les opportunités pour la faune abondent, y compris l'observation des cerfs, des wapitis et des pygargues à tête blanche occasionnels qui planent au-dessus. Situé à environ 60 minutes de Penn State, à 40 minutes de Benezette, à 40 minutes de Bald Eagle State Park, cet endroit est imbattable.

L'été propose des promenades en montagne sur des sentiers de randonnée, se rafraîchir dans la rivière, pêcher, faire du rafting, du kayak et du canoë - tous accessibles depuis la cour de la cabane.
L'automne propose un match à Penn State le samedi et peut-être une randonnée le dimanche au Benezette Welcome Center pour voir des wapitis spectaculaires (le plus grand troupeau de wapitis du nord-est des États-Unis). Parcourez des sentiers, flottez dans la rivière et explorez les étendues sauvages de Quehanna.

Awesome cabin with a great river view!

Booked for 4th of July weekend and was not disappointed! Cabin is nicely decorated and the owner Dawn is so thoughtful and made our stay so wonderful! Saw deer in the morning and brought tubes to float down the river which was so much fun! Thank you Dawn for sharing your special cabin with us!

Great place

Amazing place to stay for a family or group of friends. Quiet, peaceful and clean. The house has everything you need, the host is very friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind, that the service/Internet is slow, but sometimes you need that too.

My Family rented 4 cabins in Millers Landing for a family reunion of sorts. Dawn's cabin was by far the best and nicest place we had! It's a bit off the beaten track, but so worth it once you get there!

What a beautiful and peaceful property. We enjoyed it so much. Location was off the beaten path but only 45-60 minutes from Penn Stare which was convenient and less expensive for graduation weekend. We would definitely stay again!

This was hands down the best VRBO property I've ever stayed at. It was by far the cleanest, most beautifully furnished accommodation in the most gorgeous setting that I've ever been in. If it was possible, I would move in permanently. Chicken soup for the soul indeed.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic Fully stocked with everything you need. This place was beautifully decorated clean and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Football weekend

We planned a family trip to attend the Penn State football game and all the hotels were booked in State College. This turned out to be a blessing because we found this wonderful cabin. The cabin is immaculately clean and the architecture is beautiful. The cabin comfortably slept 5 adults and one child. There is a wonderful view of the river and the area is very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.

Exceeded my expectations

Everything about this special hideaway was completely enchanting. A wonderful escape, set directly on an peaceful flowing river. The whole setting is magical. The cabin is immaculate and well-stocked with info on the area. Dawn checked with me via email shortly after my arrival to make sure all was well. My only regret is that I did not book more nights! A true gem!

3 nights in the Wilds

Dawn communicated with us throughout our stay , being available for questions. The property was clean, well stocked, comfortable-a little piece of heaven! We saw and heard many birds including eagles and an owl! The cabin is very secluded in the forest but there are some people nearby. The only think that made me uncomfortable, was the road back to the cabin but I got more comfortable with that quickly!

Our Stay in Karthus PA

The property was and lodging were very very nice and well stocked with everything we needed. We did not know that it was the Elk rut season. There was a great viewing are close to the cabin. It is a great place to get away if you want some quite time. There are things to do in nearby towns 30-40 minutes away. I'm from PA, so already knew that it takes time on back country roads. You can't get to where you are going by how the crow flies. LOL We really enjoyed our time there!

Heaven on earth.

The peace, tranquility, surroundings & wildlife; no matter the weather, are pure bliss. The cottage itself is stunning, obviously loved and well cared for. Very clean, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully homey & very well stocked. You couldn't ask for more. Part of me doesn't want to leave a review because I'd like to keep this piece of paradise a secret. This cottage surpasses the pictures and descriptions once you walk through the door & step out on the deck overlooking the river. We didn't want to leave. All of the neighbors are friendly but not intrusive at all & Don, the gentleman next door, is a sweetheart with all kinds of info if you're interested (which we were) in the history of the area. Our host Dawn answered every and any question we had. She was most helpful. Check in and check out were a breeze. Her meticulous guest information book is a cut above the rest complete with directions from dining to elk viewing and more. Most important, the peace and relaxation that absorbs you within the sights and sounds of nature just can't be beat. Pack your clothes, stop for groceries & enjoy! Thank you so much Dawn. We can't wait to return!

I cannot say enough good things about this stay. The home - and I have to use the word "home" - has absolutely everything someone could want or need to have a pleasant, relaxing stay. The home is beautiful, comfortable and just one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. You won't be disappointed!

Magical cabin on river

We had wonderful weekend in this magical cabin on river .just to wake up to this view and have breakfast outside enough to feel serene and dreamy .communications with owner was quick .house is very clean with comfy bed and small extras -snacks and spices . My husband was an Animal Science professor at Penn State and I am a nurse in State College, where we raised our two children, also Penn Staters.
