Le cottage Frogie est un cottage rustique au confort moderne. Parfait pour une famille ou un petit groupe, 3 chambres à coucher, 1 1/2 salles de bain. Le chalet peut facilement accueillir 8 personnes avec l'utilisation du canapé-lit. Ceci est un endroit convivial pour les enfants et les animaux de compagnie.
Les grenouilles fantaisistes sont partout et vous ne pouvez pas vous empêcher de sourire. Mais la véritable attraction est l’atmosphère de détente paisible du chalet niché au milieu d’arbres matures. Sortez et profitez d'une aire de pique-nique privée avec foyer, table de pique-nique et barbecue de style parc. Rendez-vous au bord de votre lac privé et profitez de votre quai. Prenez un poteau et voyez ce que vous pouvez attraper. Ou lancez-vous dans une aventure, un canot et trois kayaks sont inclus pour une utilisation au chalet.
Lost Lake fait partie d'un groupe de petits lacs intérieurs propices à la pêche. Les espèces de poisson comprennent: le poisson pané (branchi bleu, poisson soleil, achigan à petite bouche, marigane noire), l'achigan à petite bouche, l'achigan à grande bouche, le grand brochet et la perche. De plus, vous pourrez nager et faire du bateau sur les lacs intérieurs… ou le lac Huron n’est qu’à 16 km…

Land Land dans toutes les directions, faire de la randonnée, la chasse, la pêche ou explorer.
Chutes d'Ocqueoc - 18 min: Les plus grandes chutes de la basse péninsule. Et vous pouvez nager dans les chutes!

Frogs at Froggie beach

The house is very well supplied and clean. Having use of a dishwasher, washer and dryer was an added bonus. Our dog had a great time, her first lake vacation. Thank-you for being dog friendly! A very quiet and relaxing spot

My wife's family for many years have rented a cabin on Lake Nettie. We have out grown it so the froggy cottage on Lost Lake was perfect. Especially when you wanted to get away from everyone! Had an excellent time! Looking forward to next year!

Comfortable, quiet and relaxing!

We enjoyed the quietness and time sitting at the fire pit looking at the lake. I understand why it's called the froggy cottage with all the frogs singing in the Lake and the whipper willow singing in the trees. The stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed the comfortable beds and restful nights! I only wish I had more than one week.

Escape to a peaceful paradise

This property was absolutely perfect for a quiet and spacious get away right on Lost Lake! I had the opportunity to stay for an extended time in the winter months and it was cozy and provided everything you could possibly need! Fully stocked kitchen was great to allow cooking for all my meals. It was a quick 15 minute trip to Rogers City and super close to many outdoor activities and hot spots in the area. The owner was super helpful and attentive to any needs that came up. I will most definitely be back again in the summer months and will stay at Froggie Cottage again!

3 weeks in heaven

Great rustic cabin in the woods and on a beautiful lake. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Toby was a great host. We started each day with a two mile walk on the road around the lake then paddled for hours in the kayaks or canoe. We visited all the sites from Traverse City to Soo Locks to Alpena then sat aroiund the fire pit to relax. The trees were changing so it was exceptionally beautiful. We had a great time.

We loved this place!

Our son and 2 little girls were with us and this place was perfect. They loved the trundle bed, toys and coloring books. They swam from dock, watched moths hatch from their chrysalis, and listened to loons and whippoorwills at night. We made good use of kayaks and canoe. Our bed was soft and cozy. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. Bathrooms looked newly remodeled and had laundry facilities on site. Our dog enjoyed it as well! We were close to Rogers City and Lake Huron. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for that "Up North" experience.

Amazing Stay!

Our family stayed here for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the place! The cabin is in a fantastic location - quiet, lake access, gorgeous views. Everything you need is there. The owner was super nice and we felt confident that if any issues arose - he’d be there to help. Fortunately our week long stay went without any issues at all. The cabin is spacious and having two bathrooms was very helpful for our family of five. Extra bonus that it was pet friendly and we were able to bring our dogs, also part of the family, to enjoy vacation with us. :) The northeast location was beyond convenient - not too far from many great attractions. We highly recommend Frogie Cabin and hopefully will be back next year!

Peaceful as usual

We enjoyed the end of our summer season here with canoe trips around the lake, fires in the firepit in the evening, after-dinner walks along the road, and exploring the surrounding area. Our stay was great, and we really enjoyed our time here.

We enjoyed the cabin, picnic table, fire pit, canoe and access to the lake. We had perfect weather all week and had no problem getting to the golf courses at Rogers City and Black Lake.

Perfection in the North Woods

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. I was here previously in September 2020 and I knew then that I wanted to come back. The cottage was perfect, and equipped with more than one would expect in a similar place. The surrounding area is peaceful with a lot of wildlife. Cozy cabin

We had a great stay at the cabin! Everything was clean and it was well equipped with everything we needed during our visit. We (Myself, my wife and our 4 boys) used the cabin as a home base as we explored northern Michigan. The only downside (at no fault of the cabin or owner) is there is no phone service or WiFi to see the information about places we were visiting. This could be a good thing too! It just made things a little interesting for us, but it all worked out and we had a great stay! Thank you again!

Thank you for the wonderful words! The cottage is a very peaceful place to be sure. Really great guest, I hope you book again soon! About the cell service, yes we are lacking good service right now. However a tower is under construction that should help. But, I am a bit surprised you couldn't make a call from the cottage. I installed a booster antenna this spring and have had good feedback from my guests. Thanks again for taking such good care of the cottage!
