Bienvenue Ă  The Villa at Island Breeze - un refuge romantique idĂ©al pour des vacances paisibles sur l'Ăźle. Cette maison de plage de deux chambres et deux salles de bain aux Bahamas est situĂ©e sur le cĂŽtĂ© atlantique d'Eleuthera, prĂšs de la pittoresque colonie de North Palmetto Point. À quelques pas de la porte d'entrĂ©e se trouve votre propre terrasse de dunes privĂ©e donnant sur une plage de sable blanc et rose privĂ©e. Profitez de la plongĂ©e en apnĂ©e et de la baignade dans les eaux turquoises calmes regorgeant de rĂ©cifs coralliens et de poissons tropicaux vibrants. Ou explorez la plage pour un assortiment de coquillages exotiques, de verre de mer et de fĂšves de mer insaisissables qui flottent d'Afrique et qui, selon la rumeur, porteraient chance Ă  leur chercheur. La villa dispose d'une terrasse arriĂšre spacieuse avec une table Ă  manger et un barbecue au propane oĂč vous pouvez passer du temps Ă  vous dĂ©tendre en regardant les hĂ©rons, les aigrettes et les balbuzards s'Ă©battre dans un lac d'eau salĂ©e au coucher du soleil sur l'Ăźle.

Une cuisine entiÚrement équipée vous attend avec tout le confort que vous attendez dans votre propre maison de vacances. La villa est entiÚrement climatisée avec des ventilateurs de plafond partout, un mobilier confortable, deux salles de bain complÚtes et une douche extérieure.

La salle de bain principale a une douche surdimensionnĂ©e et une immense baignoire. Les deux chambres, avec des lits king size, sont Ă  l'avant de la maison oĂč le bruit des vagues vous endormira. Draps, serviettes de bain et de plage, chaises de plage, shampoing et nettoyant pour le corps sont fournis. Le coffre-fort est situĂ© dans la chambre principale.

Amazing stay

We loved staying here. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed, and the property manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location was amazing and it was hard to leave. Highly recommend!

Fabulous stay at island Breeze

Our small adult family had a wonderful stay at Island Breeze. Great location to restaurants “ the farm”. Great beach and very close to many other beautiful beaches . The kitchen was generously stocked. If they didn’t have it. You don’t need it. A very comfortable place with many wonderful sitting areas inside and out. It is named sea breeze for a reason as the wind can blow on the Atlantic side. Definitely more interesting and keeps the bugs away. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was absolutely perfect
 probably one of the cleanest rental homes we have ever visited. Everything you need and more is located at the home, we could not believe how every single detail was thought of and provided. The property managers are extremely responsive and will do anything possible to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Great location, great home, can’t wait to return next year.

Beautiful and peaceful!

The Villa at Island Breeze was beautiful and peaceful! It was in a lovely location just steps above the beach. The appliances were excellent and the kitchen was well set up for cooking. Everything was clean and well maintained. Booking and communication were great! The on-island property manager responded quickly when we had questions.

Peace and solitude

Very well appointed house with gorgeous beach just out your front door. Very rough road getting in and out, so take your time. Property manager did excellent job trouble shooting some power issues on the first day.

Could Not Have Been Better!

We are so happy we decided to stay here! The villa was much larger than the pictures, it was very private, quiet, clean, sunny with a fantastic view, and we felt safe there. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the furniture and beds were very comfortable. There were even beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkeling equipment. The weather was in the mid 70s during the day and we didn't use the air conditioning as there was a nice breeze at all times. We especially enjoyed our walks on the beach and spending time on the deck across the street on the ocean. We recommend nearby Eleuthera Island Farm, which had a great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables and fresh baked breads. Anne was super responsive to all of our needs. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Outstanding location, spacious and perfectly stocked, better than the pictures could convey.

We've rented many homes on the island and this was probably our favorite for a family of 4. The locations is perfectly private and it is the most well-appointed home we've been in. It's really spacious for a two bedroom, with great porch seating options and hammocks, a deck overlooking the beach, 5 beach chairs, a gas grill on the back deck and a kitchen with everything a cook could possibly need all laid out in a very organized manner. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever had in a rental and everything in the home worked perfectly. It even has a bose bluetooth speaker for island tunes. There are lots of DVDs and books for rainy days too. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Great Property

I normally do not leave reviews, however I felt this property was worth the time. It was really more than I expected. The property was FULLY equipped with everything we needed. We cooked a lot on this vacation and the kitchen was comfortable to do so. The bed could be updated a little. We had to work on it a bit because the rails was broken. Not a huge problem though. I would highly recommend.

March 2019 Pros: Very comfortable house, good layout for privacy, luxurious master bathroom, well equipped gourmet kitchen with everything for cooking and serving. Great views from the front and back of the house and dune deck across the sandy road. Good bird watching. Scenic beach walking. Enjoyed my stay. Quiet and private. Welcoming and responsive property manager. Cons:The back of the house faces a marsh that emits a sulfur (rotten egg) smell. It was not a problem when there was stiff onshore breeze. When the wind was light the smell prevented me from sitting on the back deck. The BBQ grill didn't work, but a new part was ordered. Bring bug spray, its an island problem.

Remarkable villa at a great location!

This house exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The house is actually larger than it appears in the online pictures and is perfectly maintained. The kitchen is very large, has lots of work space, and is well equipped. The living and sleeping areas are spacious and the bathrooms are beautiful - we loved the double shower in the master bath. The back sunroom is great, although we did not spend a lot of time there as we had a week of perfect weather (we did not turn on the TV all week!). Covered outdoor seating areas with lots of comfy chairs extend more than halfway around the house, and there is a large deck on the back - views from all these areas are phenomenal. It is just a few steps from the house to the deck overlooking the beach. There is a small market nearby, and it's less than five miles from the house to Governor's Harbor. The central location on the island is great. The only problem we experienced all week was that the pilot light on the water heater went out once; the property manager (Anne) took the steps necessary to have us back up and running less than two hours from the time we reported it. One suggestion: as the house accommodates four people, it would be nice to have four beach chairs available for use (there were two). The same is true for the number of chaise lounges on the deck overlooking the beach. Other than that, everything was perfect! We would stay at this villa again in a heartbeat!

Jan-Feb visit to Eleuthera

The villa at Island Breeze was a perfect retreat from the brutal winter that we have been experiencing here in the northeast US. The house is located on an unnamed, dirt road a mile or 2 south of N.Palmetto Point and is just as portrayed in the ad. Comfortable bedrooms with ensuite baths, fully equipped kitchen, convenient TV room (with DishTV) which worked well for viewing the Super Bowl, and numerous outdoor spaces to get into or out of the weather. The beach is spectacular with plenty of snorkeling opportunities right offshore. Morning walks were great & you can walk 3 miles south without having to cross any rocky stretches & at this time of year it was almost devoid of people. Those are the positives, the negatives of travelling at this time of year are the very short days, the lower temperatures & cooler winds. I am not really complaining because it was sub-zero temps at home. There are good grocery stores in Governors Harbor, an excellent wine/liquor store on Cupids Cay & do stop in at the Island Farm. Buccaneer's, 1648 @ French Leave & Tippys for dinners. Went to Harbor Island on a rainy day (wasn't impressed). Overall we thoroughly enjoyed IslandBreeze & would love to return as soon as possible. Note to the owners: If there is a rainwater cistern collection system, (which there appears to be), there is a disconnected joint in the gutter system to the left side as you look at the house. just fyi.

Awesome Home!

Island Breeze is definitely a slice of paradise. The house is spacious, beautiful, fully stocked and the views are incomparable. We loved everything about this home and literally couldn't have asked for more. I didn't love driving down the dirt road everyday and it was windy the entire week but those are the only complaints. Too bad the weather is unpredictable. The house was actually better than the pics. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the waves, taking walk along the beach and star gazing at night. A few things to note: Follow the instructions to the house to a T, we got lost. We didn't like the grocery store that was recommended. There's another one in Governors that is a little bigger. There's also one on the way to town from North Eleuthera just past Rainbow Bay (something Rock). Ten Bay Beach is amazing and is super close for a beach on the Carribean side. Tippy's restaurant is awesome but since it was so windy our trip we couldn't eat outside. The wind was coming from the east so the other side of the island was much better. We also ate at the Buchaneer Club a couple of times and it was very good. Fishbones was good also. You will be traveling on dirt roads quite a bit-didn't expect that but you don't need a big car. Actually a small car was better for the narrow roads and better gas mileage. If I had to do it again I would've flown into Governor's Harbor airport. Rainbow Bay beach was also a favorite. We took a trip to Harbor Island but it was just okay. If you are coming to Eleuthera to relax, this home is the place for you. Enjoy!

un bemol au sejour : la presence de sand flies micro moustiques dont les piqures sont trĂšs allergisantes. North Palmetto Point

Beautifully appointed home! The kitchen is AMAZING!!! We cooked every night!! I absolutely loved the layout of the kitchen- enormous island and it had everything you could possibly need to cook or bake!! The home is gorgeous!! Really well taken care of! Clean!! Beautiful view of the ocean!!! Don't hesitate booking this home! It is private, quiet, a perfect location!!

Paradise

Amazing amazing amazing. The location can't be beat, steps away from a magnificent secluded beach. The snorkelling is awesome, with coral heads extending from the beach in 3 foot of water to over 30 feet. The house is wonderful, and is equipped with anything you could possibly need. The wifi is spotty but the cell signal is strong for emails etc. The locals are SO unbelievably friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again
