Always perfect for us. I grew up in the area and it’s wonderful how close my family is to Charlene’s home away from home. Charlene is an attentive host with excellent communication.

We stayed at this property to spend time with our daughter for her 18th birthday. She's a student at nearby Fredonia. The home was comfortable for our family. We'll definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Very pleased with the accomodations. Even though we were out and about most of our stay what time we were there was very quiet and peaceful. Place was very clean, had all that we needed, host Charlene was just a call away if needed. I would highly recommend staying at The Joy of Life.

My family enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Everyday my children went on the trails and spent time with Lucky the cat.

Definitely would stay again!

Great setup with an extremely clean and convenient property! Extremely thoughtful landlord who was available at a moments notice when I locked myself out yet have us the privacy we liked when visiting with family. This was such a great visit that I am already looking for another set of dates to do it again!

Beautiful home and host

The occasion for our stay was a much anticipated trip to Lily Dale. It was such a delight to return from a busy day to this peaceful and relaxing home. Our host, Charlene, couldn’t have been more lovely. We’re hoping to return with more family!

Forestville family reunion

This is our second stay at Charlene's property for an annual 4th of July family reunion. We had an enjoyable stay for 2 couples and a 6 mo old infant. The home was well suited for our needs and Charlene was very accommodating and responsive. We were appreciative for her allowing us to check in early with our baby!

Thank you. lt was a Joy having all of you. many blessings and l hope to see you again. They have the stairs done on the trail, now they are working on the railing. Then they plan on working on the wet area on the trail with a little bridge and stone walk. l can't wait and they are also going to put up an old fashion swing with a wood flat seat. Enjoy!

Always wonderful

Charlene is a lovely host. The property is always consistent and you know what you’ll get when you get there. We love coming here to visit with our family. The property is fantastic and the creek is amazing.

Beautiful peaceful stay at the Joy of Life!

The Joy of Life is in a wonderfully peaceful setting and is the most well stocked home I have stayed in. We attended a retreat that took up the full days so we're weren't able to spend much time outdoors, but it was so joyful to come home to the Joy of Life. Charlene has taken care of all details and is a lovely caring host. We absolutely loved our stay!♥️😊

We enjoyed staying at the Joy of life.

We spent Spring Break at the Joy of life, to visit family in the area. The owner Charlene was very nice and welcoming. The house is on a nice piece of property with a little creek that runs through it The house was nice and clean and had everything you expect and need when staying in away from home. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR VISIT. We definitely will be back.

Amazing place feels like home

I highly recommend one of the best places I’ve stayed far and I travel a lot would highly recommend host is very communicative with you. She has a lot of information. If you want to do stuff with the family she is great she’s amazing and I would highly recommend.
