An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The palapa was great for morning coffee and bird watching. The pool was perfect and the accommodations also. Peter took care of us very well. Highly recommend this place. We will come again.
A great casita with a pool and palapa in a quiet part of town.
This place is full of real Mexican charm, Talavera tiles, traditional brick lined cupolas to vent the mid-day heat, a roof top palapa with a view, a surprisingly complete kitchen, and as a bonus both of the bedrooms have ac. The property manager Dan lives just across the pool patio and is very helpful and friendly without ever being in the way. We were there during the peak high season week between Christmas and New Years and found it a little tricky to get cabs during the early evening hours, which is a challenge because there isnât really anything nearby that serves food after 7pm. I donât think this would be an issue at any other time except that one week (and maybe the week or Semana Santa). Even during the week we were there it was easy to find a cab just around the corner from the casita at any other time of day. Patyâs, just around the corner, serves a great traditional breakfast.
Bill and Leah are teachers from Bellingham, Washington. They have two sons and enjoy travelling to Mexico when they can. We love sharing our beautiful casa with others and know that they will love staying in our place.
