Perfect cozy cabin!

We had a great weekend! Property was clean and had everything we needed. It’s in a great, quiet location. There are other properties near by but you still have some privacy. The furniture was comfortable and there was plenty of space!

My family and I (3 folks total) stayed at this property for a night and all enjoyed it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the layout was so cute. The property owner was also absolutely wonderful to talk to and was very welcoming. 10/10 all around!

Weekend getaway

We loved our stay in this adorable cabin! We stayed just before a huge snowstorm, and the owners offered us to stay a few extra days free of charge. We had to get back but it was such a nice offer. Loved the hot tub, fishing at the state park and enjoying the beauty of Broken Bow!

Perfect weekend!

The cabin is both beautiful and immaculate. Rustic setting with all modern amenities. Hochatown is adorable and has lots of attractions and activities. Distillery tour was informative and entertaining. Highly recommend this cabin! It will not disappoint.

Quaint little cabin that feels totally in the woods, even though it is only a mile from the cabin into Broken Bow. We rented it for our 44th wedding anniversary and enjoyed it very much. Hot tub on a cool evening made it even better. We didn't cook while there, but all the appliances look new and in good working order. Really good hot water for showers. Huge shower! We really enjoyed our time there.

The cabin was great. The pictures are somewhat misleading but not egregiously so. The hot tub was clean and hot which was what we were hoping for after a long day on the road. We saw another posting in the user feedback regarding the couch being worn out and that turned out to be far worse than stated. The couch is almost unusable as the springs are so worn out and uncomfortable to sit in. We had to pile the pillows in the seat to even make it usable. The host definitely needs to change this thing out with urgency. The pricing was Ok, a bit high for what you are getting but we wouldn't say pass on this one. The owner communicates well but they definitely worry about pets as they asked 3 times if we were brining any so I would recommend passing if you have pets along for your vacation. The only other thing that would help is if it had a Keurig coffee maker as it had only a brew Mr. Coffee style which caused us to have to run to town.

the property was very nice. It was clean the only thing was the dishwasher was still loaded from last guest and the downstairs bed may have had pet hair. we just decided to sleep up stairs since it was just me and my husband.

Honeymoon Stay

We absolutely loved the cabin! It was secluded but still pretty close to the town of Broken Bow. We were a bit disappointed in the actual town, since we didn’t go to the lake. There were a few things that didn’t work in the cabin when we arrived: A few light switches/ bulbs and some jets in the hot tub. Other than that, our trip was exactly what we needed.

Quick getaway

Property was very nice and clean, and exactly what we needed to relax and get away for a few days. The hot tub gave us the most enjoyment. We used it daily. Couple of suggestions: the couch needs replacing. It is worn out and caved in in the middle. Also, the fire pit area outside needs to be leveled. The area is almost unusable because of the drastic slope of the area.

Weekend Birthday Getaway

The cabin itself was very nice but not really secluded or private. You have other cabins all around you and there’s lots of traffic noise. It is kinda hard to find because there’s no sign on the side road telling you that you’re there and it looks like someone’s driveway. We did enjoy our stay, but they need to invest some money and upgrade the broke down filthy couch (we bought a cheap blanket to cover it) and it definitely needs a new mattress in the downstairs bedroom.The hot tub is a nice feature but where it’s located makes it very hard to remove the lid for use.

Cancelled (2/27/24) reservation: VRBO sent message, I sent message, I called left message. All ignored and no response. I know only partial refund was applicable, but still full charge as cancellation was ignored. Why would I recommend.Cancelled and did not stay at location. VRBO was no help as they said contact prop. mgr. which did not respond to cancellation

Nice cabin but lots of communication breakdown. Advertisement of cabin could be more honest. Asked for 250.00 deposit after we paid for the booking, terrible way to do business. The cabins are a few hundred feet off the highway, very noisy, lots of construction work ongoing early and late. Nice cabin but bring your own kitchen equipment if you want to cook.

Beautiful Property but Terrible Communication

We absolutely loved the cabin and our time there! However, the communication was terrible. We were going during an ice storm and tried to communicate prior to coming if moving dates was a possibility. We didn’t hear back from the VRBO communicator until the morning of our check-in, telling us we could reschedule. However, we had already made our way to Broken Bow to stay in a hotel in order to beat the storm. We had contacted VRBO customer support, which put us in contact with the owner (she was very helpful, but she is not the same person as the VRBO contact) prior to us making our way down there, but it didn’t seem that they had communicated with each other. We were told that the cabin wouldn’t be cleaned prior to our arrival due to the ice storm, so we agreed to clean it ourselves. We were told that we would be refunded for the cleaning fee, but we never received the refund. When I inquired about this after our stay, I got one reply telling me the fee was for cleaning. I reminded her of our situation and never heard back. I hate to complain because we loved the property, but the lack of communication and not honoring their offer to refund the cleaning fee was truly unprofessional.
