La cabane du patrimoine se trouve au sommet de l'une des dernières dunes de sable restantes sur la rive nord du lac Tahoe. Si vous aimez le sable entre vos orteils et la sensation des eaux fraîches et propres de Tahoe, c'est l'endroit pour vous. Propre et bien décoré avec toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin. Idéalement situé sur la plage privée de Tahoe Vista. La propriété est un acre avec 101 pieds de l'une des plus belles plages de tout Tahoe.

Cette maison "Old Tahoe" est confortable et pittoresque avec des murs en pin noueux et une atmosphère rustique de style Tahoe ancien. Un endroit où vous pourrez vous détendre près d'un feu crépitant tout en admirant tout le lac Tahoe à votre porte de police. Ou savourez un verre de vin sur le pont avec le clapotis de l'eau à vos pieds.

Fabulous Experience

This cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation. The beach is wonderful and ideal for all ages. The cabin is everything you want from a historic perspective, comfortable, well equipped but still feels like a cabin. Owners are very responsive.

Best stay in tahoe i have ever had!

Do not miss this spot. Amazing location: lakefront, big lot so there is privacy, everything you need in the cabin and nothing you don't. Perfect stay. Will be renting again 100%

Cute family cabin with amazing location and views!

Old vintage cabin. Beds are comfy and everything you can possibly need is there. We love staying in Laura's family cabin. Its quirky and cozy. The location is amazing and the views from every room are stunning. We love waking up every morning and kayaking straight off the property. Highly recommend!

Cute homey cabin with great beach and views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Laura's cabin. It's small but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My daughter loved the bed with views of the lake. We had an amazing time kayaking and paddleboarding right off of the shore. Beautiful views and amazing sunsets. Will definitley book again in the future!

Perfect Vacation

You can't put a price on having a private beach and being able to truly relax. The house is unique with an abundance of character, feels homey and comfortable. The kids stated that this was the best vacation they've ever been on and we cannot wait to visit again. Thank you for lettings us stay.

Tahoe Family Perfection

Our family of four had a fantastic week and made a ton of memories. Walking in to the property felt like we were visiting our family home and had everything we needed down to the coffee and family games. And the location.......WOW! The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. The kids are already asking to go back!

Beautiful

A beautiful property full of history. Absolutely loved being able to walk right out to the beach. The home is old but has a lot of charm and all the modern features you could need. We lived using the fireplace for cozy mornings and taking long afternoon walks when it warmed up.

Unique and special Tahoe stay

Such a special property. Right on the water and brings you back to the glory days of Tahoe. It is a well stocked time capsule that has all the comforts of home. If you are looking for modern sterility, this not it. If you are looking for a warm hug of a vacation, this is your place!

very nice cabin right on the lake

The cabin was very nice and very well stocked with all the 'little things" that make a Vrbo property stay memorable. The cabin was very comfortable. The view was one of a kind looking over the lake from a high elevation. The deck right on the water was very relaxing and comfortable. the location was perfect as the north side of the lake is very relaxed. The owner was very responsive to all our needs. Would recommend this property for those wanting a very authentic feel of what living and vacationing on Lake Tahoe is all about.

Great Property and Location!

We stayed at this cabin for one week in August this year. This is part of our annual getaway and we usually stay in South Lake but I am so glad we gave this a try. Tahoe Vista is such a beautiful and quiet community. This property is fabulous! Beautiful old style Tahoe cabin right on the water with a private dock and beach. It's located conveniently in Tahoe Vista with some great restaurants and fun activities nearby. We were looking for a quiet and rejuvenating rest after the hectic week at Hot August Nights and this property fit the bill. We loved it!

A step back in time

First of all, an exceptional view. You can walk right down to the shore and sit next to the water. The house....is vintage, basically unchanged since it was built. Kinda funky, but once again a great view. A hotel is next door but its upscale and pretty quiet.

Gorgeous Lakeside Location!

Laura's home was a perfect spot for our getaway. The private beach just outside the door, amazing views of the lake and mountains from the cabin and deck made us fall in love at first sight. The kids loved the safe shallow water and paddling around by the docks. We adore the views from the living room, dining and sunroom and the great fireplace where we played games and roasted marshmallows. Laura is a generous and kind host and her follow-ups to our questions were prompt and always helpful. The wonderful history of this one-of-a-kind place is amazing and we can't wait to return! Thank you Laura!

Location

Location was great that’s why we booked this property. Only problem was we read in information owner gave us that we couldn’t use wall heaters because fire hazard. The bedroom & bathroom were too cold without using the heater. The owner didn’t tell us she had it fixed. So we had to deal with being cold & didn’t need to. Actually not a 3 bedroom & 1 1/2 bath. It’s 2 small bedrooms 1 full bathroom & toilet only off laundry room

Hi Anna, I sincerely am sorry that you did not fully enjoy your time at our property. We had recently replaced that wall heater in the back of the house and I thought I had included that information. As I indicated a number of times in our previous communications to please call me anytime you have a question or concern. Had you called me while you were there I could have helped you. As you know I am very responsive to my guests. I would like to correct the record however. We do advertise the house as a two bedroom, not a three bedroom. The VRBO webside includes that "third" bedroom as "an additional sleeping space" not as an official bedroom and the photos of the house clearly show that. Thank you

Dune with a View!

As long-time North Lake fans, our brief visit to this home quickly became one of our favorite experiences. Perched on a dune overlooking Tahoe, it's easy to imagine the many family memories it must have provided over the years. The house is a totally unique combination of vintage design and rustic cabin charm, furnished to easily and comfortably meet our needs. We arrived with ambitious plans for more activities, but found all we really needed was THAT VIEW, and those lounge chairs on the deck to enjoy our thoroughly relaxing Tahoe visit. From our first contact with the owner, our experience with this house has been positive and enjoyable. Laura was very friendly and helpful, and we especially appreciated that she reflected her affection for their long-time family retreat.

Beautiful lakeside location

When we arrived at the cabin the view of the lake took our breath away! The location can't be beat. The owners have built a lovely little deck just below the cabin that is great for lounging by the lake. We visited in the beginning of October so it was the shoulder season but we had lovely weather and there was very little boating activity on the lake so it was quiet and serene. We kayaked, and used our SUPs every day. There are plenty of shops nearby but the area doesn't feel overbuilt. Safeway, ice-cream shop and a nice variety of restaurants nearby. We rented electric bikes from Flume Trail Bikes (about 15 minutes away) and road the East Shore Bike Path along the lake to Sand Harbor. You can rent a power boat from several locations not far from the house. We did this with our 2 teenage boys and would highly recommend it. You can cross the lake and back easily in 4 hours. The house is old so the bathroom and bedrooms are small and there is no dishwasher but the place is well maintained, tidy and well stocked. The view of the lake from the living room is the centerpiece of the home and the fireplace makes this a cozy spot in the evenings. Off to the left of the living room there are two bedrooms (with a full sized bed in each) and between the living room and the bedrooms there is a sunroom with a twin bed. My kids were in online school and my husband and I were working during our stay so we appreciated the strong wifi. We stayed at the house for 10 days and would love to have stayed longer. Great stay at this lakeside home.

Perfect Stay

We had the most wonderful time at Laura's home on Lake Tahoe! The "Old Tahoe" cabin was perfectly charming with a vintage feel and all of the modern comforts. The location is absolutely unbeatable and we enjoyed every minute outside on the deck and private beach. Laura was responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions we had leading up to and during our stay. We absolutely loved it here and hope we can stay again on our next visit!

Amazing Cabin on the Lake!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It has an old Tahoe feel with a location that can’t be beat. You have amazing views with a private deck that sits right on the lake. It has all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. Location of the cabin is also close to stores and just a few minutes away from Kings Beach. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Charming Little Cabin On Wonderful Sandy Beach

Our family had a delightful time swimming each day in the sheltered, shallow waters fronting the cabin, and eating each meal while taking in the outstanding views. We enjoyed working with Laura, and felt very much at home.

Quaint family cabin with private beach!

This quaint cabin is the perfect family getaway. If you are looking to lounge by a private, soft sand beach just steps away from your home away from home, this vintage cabin is for you. We wanted a place where we could have direct access to the lake without all the hustle and bustle of a big resort and that was affordable. This home checked all the boxes! We spent a glorious weekend paddle boarding and napping by the lake. When the weather turned cold, we went inside to play cards by a fire. At night, we watched the moon rise and shine brilliantly on Lake Tahoe. Laura, the owner, answered all of our questions in a timely and very friendly matter. Thank you Laura for sharing this hidden gem! We will definitely be back!

Lake front fabulosity

A special home with private lake front deck and beach. Great for summer swimming and kayaking. One of the original homes in this area with tons of charm, surrounded by large fancy developments this home retains its heritage and uniqueness in a special way. Kitchen is well equipped, living room and dining room very cozy. A true diamond in the rough.
