Welcome to your Charleston haven on Cannon Street, a home that blends bright open interiors, excellent gathering spaces, and plenty of outdoor charm. The Neighborhood:

The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.



Getting Around:

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

The host was amazing! Constant communication and full of information ! The only thing not mentioned mentioned and I may have overlooked it, is that this is a second story unit and it has a small step inside. Everything was great, it was clean and well decorated. The wifi was easily accessible and had plenty of basic kitchen items if you choose to cook rather than walk the few ( very few) blocks to numerous restaurants and bars.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. The place was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. Check-in and check-out were super easy with clear instructions provided. The location was perfect—just a short walk to King Street and all the main attractions in Charleston. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

30 Cannon / Easy Walk to King Street!

The check-in process was extremely easy. Couldn't be a better location! It was very clean when we arrived and it was easy to keep clean.. Porch had a nice view of the street. Very comfortable beds/mattresses! Very friendly landlord /easy to communicate with. Attractively/pleasantly decorated. Would highly recommend for a weekend or an extended stay.

What a great stay!

Did a quick getaway with the hubby to see a show at the Charleston Music Hall and this place did not disappoint! Was an easy walk to and fro the show. Many, many dinner options. It is amazing how much this area has changed since my college days back in the 80’s. Would definitely stay again!

Prime location and great stay!

Location was great, the place reflected the listing, place was clean, and had all that we needed. Will make sure to stay here again as it was a prime spot to all of our favorite places!

Don’t Stay Here

Dirty, mildew and mold visible (along with smell.). Killed a cockroach by sink. Street noise reported in earlier reviews is bc windows don’t close -they are warped open, so more damp. Kitchen counter is broken, and LVT was laid over rotten subfloor. All the good communication in the world (which ended when I wanted to send photos) can’t make up for these dreadful conditions. Stay somewhere else.

Great Location!

Upstairs apartment with small balcony/front porch area. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings. Apartment was as described but family room/kitchen seemed a bit smaller than we expected. However, there were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. The apartment was very clean, beds were soft and super comfortable. Black out curtains allowed for late sleep if desired. 2 bathrooms was very nice to have and everything in the apartment worked fine. I was happy that the apartment had toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. Not all rentals have this and this touch was so helpful. The location is perfect, so close to everything. You can walk to several coffee shops in the morning. Holey Bagel was our favorite. Also walking distance to King Street for restaurants, shopping, and site seeing. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great location- A lot of space but the windows and doors are paper thin and you can hear everything and overall very outdated. Also smelled terrible

The house was cozy and fit descriptions on the website however we couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work on the main TV additional information needs to be provided regarding unit B parking spot instead of arguing

Perfect location!

The perfect location, we felt safe walking to restaurants and bars in the evening. We used the grocery delivery and the bag valet service and both were easy and I would highly recommend them! The apartment could use some updating (the rug was old and dirty and rolled up on the corners, sofa was very small and stained) thus giving it a bit of a dingy feel. The apartment is a historic or very old building which gives it lots of charm but is more crooked than your grandmas toes!! The beds and the pillows were very comfy. The rental agency was great with communication and we really enjoyed our time in Charleston!

Great ladies' weekend!

This apartment was the perfect homebase for the four of us to explore Charleston and the Wine & Food Festival. Centrally located and very comfortable. We made our own coffee in the kitchen every morning and walked to King St. We shared quick Uber rides down to the French Quarter. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

Sisters' Getaway

Getting into the rental was easy with the code. The apartment was reasonably clean. The beds were quite comfortable. The floor was uneven in most rooms. No flat surface. While the rental had a very nice TV, seating was adequate and not that comfortable. Where are the lamps in the TV room? The choice was harsh overhead lighting or darkness. The refrigerator has seen better days. Shelves and drawer were missing. The rental location was good for walking to restaurants and other sights. Loved the coffee shop across the street. Parking a few blocks away was not convenient, and challenging when others didn't park in the assigned spot. The weather was beautiful and we had a good time in Charleston.

My first impression was that nothing in the building was level. The stairs leading up to the door were rickety. The landing was slanted away from the building. So much in the apartment seemed shoddily done or worn. Floors were uneven. Drains in sink looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There were dirty pans in the cupboards. The location was noisy on a busy street and felt a little sketchy at night. It was a good location in terms of being able to access King street, restaurants, the Market, etc.

Thanksgiving in Charleston

Loved the location. So close to everything and in a cute neighborhood. Space was spotless and as advertised with very comfortable beds. David was very responsive — a great host. Highly recommend.

Close to Everything Charleston

This was a good stay. Close to many things you want to do in Charleston. Almost everything was within a mile - 20 minutes walking. The VRBO was good. Back 2 bedrooms had more comfortable beds. Kitchen was as expected. Parking was an issue we didn’t verify before our arrival. Would stay here again.
