We chose Villa Kiskadee for the location and the pool and both did not disappoint. The location is excellent, minutes away from beaches and food options and the pool is lovely. Unfortunately, the rest of the villa is badly in need of updating. Most of the furniture and fixtures are old and outdated and certainly not what we expected from the pictures shown. Overall if you are looking for a great location nearby to popular beaches and food outlets and the airport with your own pool this is a great option we were just a little disappointed with the villa itself.

Perfect neighborhood and close to the best beach and the mall

We find the mosquito coils work well in the evenings and can be bought cheaply in the local stores but we would advise visitors to use repellent wherever they go on the island if they are prone.

Great place

The house was, if anything, even bigger than it looks from the photos. It was very clean, and quiet (especially considering the carnival celebrations in the town). We recommend it!

We love the Kiskadee

Very clean, spacious, close to everything, quiet and well managed. Deon is a wonderful host. We will stay there again, soon. It was a bit pricey for Tobago at that time period.

Super comfortable house. Clean and tidy. Garden and pool very well maintained and the team onsite were lovely and very very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Car is essential to explore the island. Thank you.

This home was situated in a very safe and convenient neighborhood. Walking distance to many different beaches and shopping. The main negative things that stood out was the fact that the “grill” is a little coal grill that was broken and rusted and entirely usable. We bought stuff to grill and hang out by the pool which was a waste. We figured we could use the oven instead, however that was completely broken and also unusable. The refrigerator was working except for the ice maker and water filter… 2 important amenities on a tropical island lol. The bathroom fixtures all had that green mold growing on it and we were informed on arrival that washer was not operable and needed a part replacement (it was magically fixed one day when we were out though). I felt that I specifically paid for these amenities that were advertised and they did not produce. Had I known ahead of time that these appliances were not operable then I would not have booked as I’m sure that I would’ve booked elsewhere. I am not one to complain on the trip so I chose to make the most of the trip and enjoy the stuff that worked such as the ACs and that amazing pool! I also appreciated the host for allowing us the opportunity to remain 2 hours past check out due to our afternoon flight. All in all it is a lovely home to spend a relaxing trip and I truly hope the owners do some updating for future guests and advise of which appliances do not work.

First of all, let me say the house was absolutely perfect. Our issues are based on the property owner. Pros: Great location close to beach and entertainment Pool Clean w/ all needed amenities Property manager was helpful Cons: Poor communication w/ owner. She nor the property manager could be reached upon arrival even though she said someone would be there. Waited outside for 2 hrs outside the gate at night and no one showed up. Poor check in instructions.....none were given even though she said she would provide them. After calling VRBO directly (55 mins at $2/minute), they were unable to connect the owner as well so they had to put us up in a hotel. The next day the owner apologized and gave us money back for one night. After we got in touch with the property manager, he was super helpful.

Absolutely amazing!

We had a quick run away for the long weekend as a couples getaway. The booking process was simple and quick. Owner and property manager friendly and easily available to contact. The accommodation was great! We literally didn’t want to leave as it was so beautiful. Definitely will be visiting again.

Great villa

Villa Kiskadee on the whole was enjoyable. Perfectly sized and located if you are visiting Tobago with a small group. Well appointed with all the essentials. Little touches such as Netflix, WIFI, pots and pans of all sizes, even a spare cooler if you dont have one. Extremley clean and tidy. Deon, the property manager was always handy if needed.

gorgeous villa

Kiskadee is a wonderful villa which felt like home the moment we stepped in. The villa felt more luxurious in reality than even the photographs showed and we were looked after brilliantly by Beverly and Deon. IT is in walking distance of shops, restaurants and several beaches including the infamous Pigeon Point. All enquires we had before the holiday were answered quickly and efficiently via the owner and I can't wait to return and stay again in the future.

very large and clean spacious villa perfect for any family stay. really impressed by the luxurious feel of the master bedroom and the swimming pool! really secure and safe property also. bang in the middle of crown point, a perfect location as base to see the west cost of the island. pigeon point and store bay a stone's throw away not to mention 10 mins from the airport!

Perfect

We rarely travel as a family and when we do it can be stressful. This home was truly a home away from home for us. The house is beautiful and the pool was perfect. We had more than enough room as a family to spread out and have our own spaces when needed. So close to downtown and pigeon point, just a five to ten min walk. We enjoyed not only walking downtown to eat but cooking at the villa was a snap since it had everything we needed, utensil wise. The grocery store was about a five min drive away and was well stocked. We loved feeding the birds on the property as well and enjoyed how friendly they were. Dion and Beverley were also a joy and we loved getting to know them. Dion was extremely helpful, telling us everything we needed to know about the island and helping us find great taxi drivers to get around, being from the states we chose not to chance driving since for us everything was backwards. Beverley kept the place looking great the whole time we were there, we were saddened that we didn't get a chance to have her cook for us. The neighborhood was nice, quiet and secluded; being about 2 blocks from the main road we were surprised not to hear any of the traffic. Everything about this trip was fantastic- Steve was so helpful in setting up the rental and answering any pre-trip questions we had. And once there we had no problems slipping into vacation mode. Our favorite places to eat were the Italian pizza restaurant and skewers. We also took an all day boat trip with sugar lips, goofy name but fantastic guy. He also introduced us to a beach side restaurant where we ate the biggest lobsters we had ever seen. We would defiantly recommend this villa to other friends and family and hope one day to enjoy it again our selves.

We had a wonderful stay!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Kiskadee. The facilities were exactly as presented and pictured online. On arrival we were greeted by the facility manager who were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was well-maintained, clean, comfortable, secure and equipped with everything one would need for a great vacation on Tobago. We would recommend the villa, good location, top accommodation, nice vibe and friendly people allover.
