Whale Song - une des plus belles offrandes de la cĂŽte Mendocino

Chant des baleines dans un cadre spectaculaire sur l'océan avec des vues impressionnantes de la vagues de l'océan, des couchers de soleil et le Pt. Cabrillo maison de la lumiÚre - avec trois chambres, deux salles de bains, et seulement trois miles de Mendocino. Peut-il obtenir beaucoup mieux que cela?
Il y a une grande, vaste terrasse avec vue sur la mer agitée avec le bord bluff à seulement 25 pieds de distance, une petite crique et le phare sur la baie, et - pour ces moments indulgent - un bain à remous.
Trois chambres, un open-space salon avec beaucoup de fenĂȘtres de vue. Asseyez-vous, dĂ©tendez-vous, et admirez la vue. Le phare de Point Cabrillo peut ĂȘtre envoĂ»tante ... la crique - avec son histoire de "Le naufrage Frolic - est Ă  quelques pas.

Whale Song est à distance de marche de l'Etat de préserver entourant le phare et il est seulement un demi-mile de marche de la plage de Caspar. Une bonne escapade ... mais vous devrez partager Whale Song avec des amis à plumes - oiseaux chanteurs, mouettes et oies. En raison de l'emplacement de la falaise, il y a un minimum de 10 ans et plus requis pour les invités.

This house is incredibly located on a cliff with astounding views. The small personal touches really ment a lot to me from the dog supplies to the fresh flowers and birthday note they left. We were blessed with clear weather and had the pleasure of seeing whales everyday right from the porch, living/dining room and even the primary bedroom. Already looking forward to coming back.
Sunrises were spectacular!
Cozy fireplace too.

Pinot Fest!

We had a wonderful stay here! The view is spectacular! We were here for the Anderson valley Pinot festival, which also did not disappoint! Always so fun spending time on the coast. Can’t wait to visit again!

Impressive views. Surrounded by nature and amazing experiences. Whales seen two days in a row. House is comfortable and has everything you need. Wish we had stayed longer!!

The on line pics do not come close to the beauty of this coast property. The home is so warm and welcoming that it was very hard to leave. We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate 3 major family milestones

Quiet and calm

Great views. We had lovely weather. Walks at local parks. House very comfortable and well appointed. Few ants in kitchen. Needs a little more attention to dusting (vents, lampshades)

Stunning views

This property was amazing. Ample windows and a nice deck for watching the waves crash over the rocks. The grounds were well manicured and the house was well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Even our dog had a crate designated specially for her. the furnishings were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, firewood....the list goes on! I highly recommend this property for any length of time. It's between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. Plenty to do, or do nothing but enjoy the scenery. Four days was not enough!!!

However, if you enjoy cooking, there is no garbage disposal and the hot water barely comes out of the kitchen sink. The whole place needs a little upgrading, but it is supposed to be rustic. The view out the large glass windows and from the porch is spectacular. This year we spotted whales migrating on at least 4 days (you need binoculars to see anything more than a "spout ion the distance") and the ones on site are pretty beat up. The location is somewhat secluded even though there's some houses quite close to you on each side. We go in the off season, so we've rarely had any neighbors during our stay. The one thing that you need to be aware of is the lighthouse on the point shines brightly and constantly and will definitely leak through the window shades in the master bedroom, so if you're light sensitive bring some eyeshades to wear

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing which is why we rented this home for the second time. The problem is that all the issues we encountered on our first visit 9 months earlier were STILL unresolved. The master shower leaks, one of the two recliners is broken, there are spider webs throughout the house, the dishes in the cabinets are filthy, and the HVAC system is tricky and temperamental. For $300-$400/night I expect the home to be in better condition.

We arrived later than we’d expected, on a cold dark night, and stepped through the front door to a toasty warm house with warm lighting from lamps turned on in each room. A perfect welcoming. The views in the house are amazing, with the waves crashing and the lighthouse in the background. The house is so cozy, clean, and comfortable, making you feel right at home. We do agree with the other reviewers who have been asking the past couple years for new mattresses! Seems odd that this hasn’t been done yet - kind of a big issue with a pretty simple fix. We only use the bed in the primary bedroom, and it is sunken in, lumpy, and pretty uncomfortable. That fix, and the addition of blackout curtains to block out the lighthouse beam while sleeping, would make that bedroom just perfect.Otherwise, a lovely stay! We will be back.

The highlight of our trip was lounging in the spa one morning and then having massages out on the deck in the sun. What a luxury. The house is well-appointed and I like how the bedrooms are away from the main living area. Sitting on the covered deck in ricking chairs, drinking coffee or a cocktail is life!
