Dave (owner) and Carlos (manager) were both very attentive to any of our questions or concerns. The condo was as advertised and clean. We felt at home right away. We were also accommodated on checkout when our flight was delayed by 4 hours and they allowed us to stay in the condo. Very appreciated!

Great location. Carlos, our Property Manager was incredibly helpful and responded to our needs in a very efficient manner, Pools, restaurant and property are amazing! We had a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful location, excellent stay

Location is in the hotel zone. First time staying at the Grand Venetian and will definitely be coming back. The location was awesome, gorgeous, and quieter than the downtown area where we stayed previously. But very easy to get downtown on bus or taxi. The property was well kept, and are continuing to update as needed. The condo was very roomy and accommodating. Lighting in the kitchen could use a bit more.

Mid April One Week Stay

Overall the property is very clean and well maintained. Lots of very friendly and efficient staff. Good food, drinks and service at the restaurant and poolside. Three excellent restaurants just across the street from the main gate. We’re seriously considering going back for longer next year. We had some issues with the check in (no code number for the door lock and incorrect passcode for wi-fi) but thankfully that got sorted out.

Relaxing vacation

Honestly my only complaint was it could have been cleaner inside. One bed only had a sheet on it and it felt like a rushed cleaning job. Otherwise the host, the local host, the property all delightfully helpful and responsive. Some notes- - Lots of towels - washer and dryer that helps during the visit. - - Host provided water is great - There is not a wine opener so bring your own. - Regular coffee pot works well. There were even filters when we checked in. - The week we were there was incredibly busy and in order to get a front row chair at the pool you had to get there at 8:30. Slightly challenging but doable. - great restaurant in site. Reasonable prices- felt super safe Would stay here again!

I had asked the owners questions back in March through the VRBO message system. They never did reply. Did not give us access info was quickly as I would have liken. The air conditioning was out until Monday evening. Half of our party arrived Sunday afternoon and could not use the living room or kitchen because of the heat. The condo was clean and served our purposes. Grateful for the washer and dryer. Get in touch with property manager as soon as you can. Make sure he tells you about the phone in lobby to call for a cab to come pick you up at the lobby instead of walking to the entrance.

Great Location & Beautiful Pool

Overall we had a great vacation and the condo was as expected. The Grand Venetian is located in a good area and we felt safe walking around the city. The lobby staff were very helpful and would call a taxi for us when needed, that picked us up right at the lobby doors. The pool area is kept very clean and beautiful. The condo was nice and comfortable and the balcony was very big with great views, however the jacuzzi as advertised was removed. The condo could use better lighting, especially in the bathrooms. The guest BR closet was locked, it contained the owner's belongings, so there was nowhere to hang clothes. The Master BR closet is huge and plenty of room to share. Washer & dryer was a plus! Kitchen had everything needed if you want to cook a meal. We did take advantage of the BBQ grill on the deck. We had to call Carlos for paper towels and a clean sponge for the kitchen upon arrival, and he went to the store and brought them to us within an hour. Carlos was very helpful and accommodating. It was my birthday and he recommended LaPalapa restaurant with beachside dining and was kind enough to make a reservation for us. The food and atmosphere was amazing! The four of us loved Puerto Vallarta and will definitely vacation here again!

Great Hosts; Perfect spot to relax and unwind

Hosts were really helpful and accomodating! We needed wifi when we were there, which the hosts were able to help us with a MiFi. The spot is wonderfully located, and we enjoyed all the pools at the Grand Venetian. The security staff were really helpful and professional, as was the staff at the poolside restaurant. The condo itself, is well appointed, and comfortable. Our only disappointment was that hot tub on the balcony was gone.

Upscale condo enjoyed by 2 couples

We were the first ever renters of this home which is furnished with lovely pieces in Mexican style. It was exactly like the pictures and the amenities were as listed. The huge deck was notable for the loungers, a table with 4 chairs and a functioning gas BBQ. The view from there was spectacular and had the bonus of facing northwest without the sun beating down to scorch one during the day. This to us was the most amazing feature. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and equipment. The bedrooms were at the back of the condo with a small deck, away from the noise of the locals overnight along the river in front. I have never before had the pleasure of a bathroom with 2 sinks, a rain shower, and a walkin closet. Felt thoroughly spoiled. Beds-one king, one queen were very comfortable. We made good use of the laundry in the condo so did not need to bring so many clothes. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels and cloths as well as beach towels provided. The A/C was invaluable on the hot days but leaving the patio doors open at both ends of the home, allowed the ocean breeze to blow through, decreasing the need for the A/C. Very refreshing. Since we were with our daughter and son in law, having our separate bedrooms and bathrooms gave us a feeling of space and separation, welcome at times. The restaurant on the property was useful at times, delicious, and not overly expensive. The restaurant on the riverbank next door was also delicious and reasonable cost. Taxis could be called by the security staff on ground level and were there in a flash. Local buses could be caught just on the main street in front of La Isla Shopping Center. Soriana grocery store within easy walking distance. The grounds of the resort were beautifully kept and had no less than 4 pools and 4 hot pools used until late night. One constantly saw staff cleaning the decks, scrubbing the pools and manicuring the lovely gardens. The wifi and internet access was somewhat unreliable at times, but I understand that is not unusual in Mexico and beyond the owner's control. The owner happened to be present when we arrived early and was able to show us many features of the place. This was helpful. I have suggested to him that a book outlining expectations, prohibitions, and the workings of some of the available equipment would be helpful to future guests.
