Great stay

We were in town for my son’s baseball tournament. This was a very nice stay, close to the baseball fields and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Comfortable and Quiet

The neighborhood is extremely quiet. The location was perfect - close to stores and restaurants. House was nice, bed was very comfortable. Only had a couple hiccups with door entry and each time, they were quickly resolved.

Overall homey and comfortable house

This is the first time I had to rent a house for me and my family to stay in for 3 nights and I loved this experience I think over all we were comfortable and I liked the area the house was located the neighborhood was quiet and there were many stores that we could access quickly. Also fun attractions weren’t too far away from the house and we were able to visit plenty of places. I had fun and we liked that the kitchen had everything we needed to cook in and when we first arrive home the host greeted us with a nice welcome basket full of goodies. If I had to rent I would definitely do so, which actually we were debating to rebook for a longer stay; however, sadly vacations are over and we must go home but I’m glad we stayed here and I definitely recommend. :)

Decent but not fancy

Great location and good price. Gave the group of a coach and 4 athletes good space so everyone had their own bed. Overall, a good stay. Athletes did mention the main couch needs some attention.

Modest Property with very nice owner

There are pros and cons of this property and tried to give my honest feedback. First positives, 1. 3 rooms and bunk beds to fit enough people and all places has a TV. 2. Modest price if you just want to stay around Houston with a good price to value ratio 3. Good location with groceries and restaurants nearby. City attractions and ocean all are in 30-45 minutes drive mostly (Not considering Houston traffic which might go abnormal) 4. Most importantly, thumbs up for David the owner of the property. He is a nice person and we had had few issues and he tried his best to be responsive and resolve the issues. Now, the negatives - 1. The living room has to be updated badly, almost non-usable. 2. Dining table has very few sittings compared to the size of the house. 3. Rooms and bathrooms were dirty in places including one bedroom and also towels, linens has to be replaced. The existing ones are worn out. Overall, would recommend if you can manage these things and then you might get a modest living place in the city for few days .Be assured David is a very friendly and cooperative person and will try his best to address any issue you have onsite.

Accommodations were reasonable. Sofa/seating in den left a little something to be desired. Could not find a remote control for the den TV so could not adjust volume. Fortunately a power button on the back of the TV.

I love the size of the home. Wish the living are was bigger. Having to continue to fix the couch .

Please get a new sofa re fixing the cover was a headache. Love the back yard super relaxing.

Festival Stay

A group of 9 at us stayed here for a music festival we were attending in Baytown. The location was perfect, food establishments/Walmart/HEB/etc all within 3-10 minutes of the property. The house was cozy and great for a big group. The owners provided water which was a really nice touch to all of us. Nina was great with communicating with us and always responded quickly and was happy to help with any questions we had. Check in and check out were a breeze. Will definitely rebook in the future!

Wonderful place!

This Condo was dreamy! It is a huge 4 bedroom place and there is room for everyone! I wish we were staying more than 2 nights! I could spend a week here. From the beautiful decor, plenty of seating, spacious rooms, even a swing on the front porch! Everything was just right! Even the beds were comfortable (although it wasn't until we were stripping the kids beds that we realized the bottom bunk bed was the best in the house! Haha) We had a great time and do plan on returning!!

Nice, cozy, well-kept house

I originally booked a 3 bedroom house but the owner has upgraded me this 4 bedroom house for free. This nice house is very well-kept and fully furnished that made us feel like it were our second home. From free-internet to cable TV, Netflix movies..., this house comes with more free entertain packages than 5 stars hotels (the wifi gateway is below the TV in the living room. Look for gateway name and password written on that gateway, don't use the info written on the paper posted at the back door). It has 4 bedrooms, 2 of them have queen bed, 1 room has king bed and the other room has a bunk bed for our teenager kids. There are also 2 twin-bed in the living room and 3 couches so this house has more sleeping beds than we could use (we have 3 families, total 13 people). Extra blankets, pillows are in the cabinets locate around the house. The kitchen has all the cooking tools, plates and bowls (Corelle). We did not do much cooking because we eat out most of the time but we cooked some breakfast and warm up some food. Even though the house has some soap in the restroom, it is good idea to bring your own shampoo and bath soap as we did. We really enjoyed our stay in this house and if we have a chance to visit Houston again, we definitely will book this house with David again.

We really had no idea what to expect because we never rented a vacation home before. Well I am pleased to report that it was great. Having all the things we were accustomed to having in our own home was such a convenience. We purchased groceries at the local market, were able to wash and dry our clothes without going to the laundromat. We even grilled some hot dogs with the charcoal, lighter and grill that was provided. We will definitely being considering vrbo for our extended stays in the future. It was a nice experience at David and Nina's place. The description was very accurate including the interior. The place was clean and lots of things were made available by the owner. David responded at every call, even his father in-law. We felt so much like the family were are host. I recomend this property to anyone that enjoys having his own space. It is indeed a home away from home.

Good choice

Very nice place! We really enjoyed it! David was extremely helpful in giving directions and with anything else we needed for the trip. The only complaint was the air filter was really dirty but I assume it was accidentally forgotten. I actually purchased a new one and put it in. Thanks for everything!
