Belle maison récemment rénovée de 4 chambres et 2 salles de bain située dans le pittoresque comté d'Avery, la capitale mondiale de l'arbre de Noël. Les propriétaires ont fourni tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances sans stress. Chauffage central et air nouvellement installés. Parking pour 5 véhicules. ANIMAL FAMILIER. Une trÚs courte distance de la cave Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Linville Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway et Grandfather Mountain. La maison est située juste à cÎté de l'autoroute, vous aurez donc un accÚs facile aux pistes de ski en hiver.

I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful and homey this rental was. We were pleasantly surprised by how large and spacious it felt—there was more than enough room for our family, as well as the friend we met from out of state, while still allowing everyone their own privacy.The location was incredibly convenient and close to Sugar Mountain, which was the main reason for our visit. The home was well stocked and had everything I needed to prepare meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. I was especially grateful for the washer and dryer—it was such a bonus to be able to keep up with laundry during our trip.If it only had a handheld shower head, I’d give it 15 out of 5 stars! Seriously - Don’t let this rental pass you by! Book the trip!

Weekend skiing retreat

We loved being able to stay at Dottie’s place again. This was our daughters’ birthday ski weekend with friends. Nice space and plenty of kitchen ware to cook for the group. We appreciate Jared having the letting coffee pot and also the throw blankets.

Love the Cleanliness. Convenience and location. Super clean and very spacious, bigger than I thought. happy with the supplied kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Nice having the washer and dryer after having wet ski clothing. Easy in and out as it is super close to the road without problem being snowed in. Host was very responsive, provided us two, not one coffee pots (drip and keurig) when the one supplied quit working. Very considerate on their guests safety (there was winter storm warning during our stay). Highly recommend!

Roomy 4-bedroom home

We spent the week at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, which was a short drive away. The house has a nice, open floorplan for the common areas with plenty of room to sit, relax, and enjoy one another's company. The bedrooms were adequate, each with space enough to get ready for the day, and be comfortable. There were mirrors in each room, and all but one room have spacious walk-in closets. The master bedroom and bath was very spacious and accomodated the needs of our group quite well. The only issue we had was the result of nature getting into or under the house, which the owners cannot really be blamed for. The owners were responsive when we had any questions or notified them about anything going on with the house, and were super easy to contact. This was the perfect place to set up as a "home base" while we were visiting.

Great place to stay

I was in North Carolina for a funeral service and stayed at this location with my family. Let me tell you this was a fantastic place to stay, Big parking lot, lots of room in the house. We sat on front porch and had coffee in the morning . That evening after the services we grilled steaks on back porch that we bough from the farm raised meat market a 1/4 from the house. Being a family from Texas and never been to North Carolina the drive was amazing and fun, I wish I could buy this house, "Dottie's place" was a peaceful, wonderful place to stay. Country, Cows and Christmas Trees!

We had a wonderful stay at Dottie’s place. Host thought of everything. Big rooms, comfy beds and lots of comfortable seating. Family all felt at home. Skiing not to far away was great. It actually snowed the day we went skiing, which made the trip even better. Loved the cows across the street and the Christmas trees all around us. Would definitely stay again. Wonderful value for the money.

Super cute

Our stay included myself, my husband and our 2 boys 14,16. The first thing that comes to mind is much cuter in person. Very clean, cozy and had everything you need plus extra.. ( provided laundry detergent, body wash, down to hot coco.) One suggestion I have, if you're a light sleeper, it is right off of a busy highway and you can hear the traffic. Location is close enough to get to most adventures. I would recommend staying here.

Spatious and comfortable

Master bedroom and bathroom were huge . Kitchen great for cooking . The couches in the living room included 6 reclining seats , so it was very comfortable for us all to relax in the evenings . About a 20 min drive to Grandather trailhead, which we found out you need “tickets“ for , or you can take the longer “Profile trail” to access same area. Only 8 mins from Linville falls. The house is very close to the highway, so bring your white noise maker . Overall it was well worth the money. Really well kept place.

Great mountain home for spending time with friends

This is our second stay at Dotties’ place. It is always clean and comfortable. It’s nice for us to have one level with ample parking. The beds and bedding are very comfortable as well as ample amenities provided.

We loved our stay and have travelled all over the world and have never experienced such considerate hosts that provided so many amenities. They truly thought of everything and it felt like we were at home. I highly recommend this property and are planning our next trip.
