We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend at this cabin. It had such a cozy atmosphere both inside and out. The host was also very responsive to a few questions we had when settling in. We highly recommend this cabin for a quiet weekend away, and look forward to returning in the future!

The location was definitely relaxing, you’re basically in the middle of the woods. The tree-lined path to the property was beautiful. The cabin is cute and has everything you would need. Everything was clean. The pellet heater was super cozy, and it felt like we had a fireplace. We spent a lot of time hiking in the woods. Great experience overall.

This cabin was clean, peaceful, and well-supplied. We had a most marvelous time! The bedding was luxurious and the firepit was wonderful. It was so nice to be greeted with a very long tie out welcoming our dog who loved the property.

Bonfire Holler is a wonderful little cabin in the woods outside of Frederic, Michigan. There’s plenty of things to do in the area, and if the weather were bad, there was lots to do in the cabin and on the property. No worries about forgetting things at home as the cabin is well-equipped with cooking/baking supplies. Beds were comfortable - we were a little worried about being too hot sleeping upstairs, but the fans and cross-breezes made it quite comfortable and having a half-bath upstairs was great if there was a need to “go” in the middle of the night. Water temperature and flow was excellent - some places don’t get you both. The long tie-out from the porch was also a plus for letting the dog roam while we relaxed, but stay close enough to keep an eye out and we didn’t need to worry about chasing after our pup. The property is really quiet except for the birds and frogs at night. We saw deer and rabbits, but not one other person or car go down the road. It was fantastic!

Comfortable and Clean

The cabin is very adorable and situated on a nice piece of property. It was a hot Michigan weekend but the AC unit did an admirable job though I will say to be prepared for the upstairs bedrooms to be warmer. It didn't affect us too much and there are plenty of fans to help. There's plenty to do on the property and in the area to keep you busy and it's just a very pleasant place to stay with the amenities you need to unplug for a few days.

Great Hideaway!

We love staying at Bon Fire Holler. It's away from a lot of other houses and close to trails so we can ride our Jeep and enjoy nature. There was a couple problems but the owner quickly took care of them. His communication was excellent.

Excellent Property - Very Clean

This cabin in the woods is private with plenty of outside space to enjoy. The first thing you notice when you open the door is cleanliness. The cabin even smelled really clean, which was a welcome experience based on some other rentals.I hope to be able to return for a future vacation.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful trip, the snow was deep and our gracious host came out to plow the drive for us before we got there! The pellet stove kept us toasty and we enjoyed the games and backyard snowball fights when we weren’t skiing. Wonderful visit and will return!

Quaint 2BR cabin

Cute 2BR cabin was quiet. Four wheel drive vehicle best to access in Winter. Bedrooms cold, necessitating doors to be left open for heat from pellet stove to reach them. Enjoyed the peaceful and natural setting.
