We feel very lucky that our host Persa provided everything and more that we needed. She had thought of every detail and was very helpful and kind. Transfers to and from the airport were well organised. Her home was spotless and immaculately presented. The decor was lively and interesting and the beds very comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooking the bay was beautiful. We felt welcomed and loved. On several occasions she generously brought us different breads and biscuits to try. We also had our own personal sunbeds whenever we wanted to sunbathe on the beach, which was a couple of minutes from the house. When my friend needed medication she immediately arranged a doctor's appointment and went with her and resolved the problem on the same day.Persa's husband took us to very quiet beaches on serveral occasions, for a reasonable fee. He dropped us off and collected us when we wanted. Our overwhelming feeling was that we had been welcomed by very warm, generous and kind friends.

Perfect!

The villa is a good size for relaxing in, clean and tastefully decorated. 1 minute away from a beach and short stroll to centre of town so makes a perfect base for exploring the island from. Persephone was accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful - we couldn't have asked for more!

Truly Exceptional (from a real, frequent traveller)

This is a standout property in a wonderful location. The property was exceptional for cleanliness, facilities, comfort, supplies and location. We have travelled extensively and stayed in many properties but have rarely been so spoiled! Our host couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant. Can't recommend it highly enough.

With a beautiful sea view from the balcony and bedroom, Villa Persephone is a home away from home, furnished comfortably. The host Persephone is very attentive and I’m sure is happy to help with anything at all. The villa has excellent A/C, is very clean indeed, and has a great washing machine. It is well supplied with linens and beach towels. The balcony is so comfortable and has shade morning and evening and sun in the afternoon. It is just a few steps from the beach and restaurants and beach bars, but is also very quiet. It’s a nice 15 min walk to the start of Skiathos Town wih a ton of great restaurant choices. Persephone even arranged our transfer taxis.

Villa Persephone

Most important thing to say is if there is a better host out there than Persa then I would dearly love to meet them. The Villa itself is beautiful, well equipped and so close to the beach, but the fact that Persa goes to every effort possible to make your stay magnificent is truly remarkable. A wonderful lady that has the perfect balance of doing anything for you without intruding at all. Makes you feel like part of her family. Beautiful stay . We would go again just to see Persa . Recommend this villa to everyone visiting the beautiful island of Skiathos

TRIP OF PERFECTION

This was a beautiful villa that met all of our expectations. The three bedrooms are spacious allowing us to unpack and relax for the holiday. Each came with a hotel quality robe and slippers. The bathrooms were well appointed with the main bathroom providing all supplies needed as well as a selection of pharmacy products for any medical needs. The kitchen was perfect for putting together snacks and small meals. We spent every night on the terrace with cocktails and snacks overlooking the beautiful ocean and islands. Truly perfect. With all of this, the true highlight of our trip was Persa - our host. She was beyond amazing providing everything from airport pickup, organizing taxis as well as all of our excursions. She is an amazing woman and truly a private concierge that made our entire trip priceless.

Discovered New Family!

Persephone, Athanasi, and Demetri were better hosts than one would expect from your own family. Persephone picked us all up at the airport to welcome us. The house was immaculate and so homey and functional for the five of us. The location was amazing. We rented a car but really didn’t need to. The surprise came for all of us when we got the remants of a hurricane in Skiathos on Sept 4-7/23. We got almost 700 mm of rain, lost electricity, water, and no internet for a couple of days. Persephone and her family were there to make sure we were ok and had enough water. She even washed our dishes outside from water in a well. This natural disaster was a surprise for all of us, but Persephone and her family ensured that we were safe and whole. I would not hesitate to return for a visit with my new “sister”. God bless you Persephone and family!!

Beautiful villa with wonderful sea views

Five of us spent a week at this wonderful villa in June and had the best holiday ever. The villa is so amazing, especially the terrace overlooking the sea and neighbouring islands. This is a wonderful place for pre-dinner drinks. The 3 bedrooms are spacious with loads of cupboard space and air conditioning. The villa is absolutely spotless and so nicely furnished too. The downstairs area is great for outside meals in the shade. There are lots of tavernas nearby on the beach and many excellent ones in town, only 15 minutes walk away. The owner, Persa, a very clever lady, is always on hand to offer help and advice. Front row beds on the beach every day are saved, if required, which is a lovely touch. Two sun beds and an umbrella costs 8 Euros per day so this is a real bonus. The beach is gorgeous and so close and the water sports are brilliant. We tried water-skiing, wakeboarding and paddle boards and had great fun. The speedboat trip to the island of Tsougrias was also one of the highlights of our stay. The wi-fi is very good throughout the villa and there is also a large TV, although we were too busy exploring beautiful Skiathos. The villa is in a great location and is very peaceful. There are several small supermarkets a few minutes walk away so no real need for a car. We hired 2 Suzuki Jimny Jeeps for one day to discover more of the island and we also went on a boat trip from the port (€20 so good value). However staying in this outstanding home was the best part of our holiday. We would highly recommend this villa and hope to return some day. The hospitality of hosts Persa, Thanassis and Dimitris is exceptional and Skiathos is a really beautiful place.

What a fabulous place to stay. If you can book a stay at this villa then do so you won't be disappointed. We have just stayed here for a week. The villa is in an excellent location steps from the beach and the beautiful tavernas. The villa has everything and I mean everything you need to enjoy your holiday. It is spotlessly clean and has the most beautiful views from the upstairs patio area. Persephone is a fabulous host and nothing is too much trouble. There is a supermarket a short walk away from the villa and it sells everything you could need. The beach is spotless with plenty of sunbeds. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this villa. Thankyou Persephone ...see you soon.

Wonderful!

From the minute we booked this lovely villa, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Persa and her lovely family. The villa is in town, but away from the super-touristy part of the South Coast and, literally, a minute's stroll to the beach. There are watersports galore on the beach run by the wonderful owners that you can use when you feel like it and at a very good price. Brilliant, generous and fun teaching from Thanasis saw both our kids water-skiing in no time. There are two small supermarkets within a couple of minute's walk, but a choice of half a dozen varied but excellent Tavernas along the beach all within 15 minutes walk so we didn't bother eating in at all. A great call was to hire a car for a couple of days (organised, at a very good price, by Persa instantly) to explore the quieter and stunning northern beaches. The kids had the time of their lives and we got to relax completely. I couldn't recommend this villa more highly.

Immaculate home in a great location with a lovely host

We had a wonderful time at Persephone’s home. It is exceptionally clean and the location is steps from the beach. Persephone was incredibly responsive to everything and always available, but not intrusive. The view from the top deck is just lovely and the home is very well appointed and very spacious. She and her husband also have a great water sports business and our kids enjoyed different water sports each day. We are grateful to have found this place, it made our stay in Skiathos very enjoyable.

Great time at Persa's house

We were a group of 6 people, and all of us really enjoyed our stay at the villa which was very spacious, well furnished, very clean, and particularly well located : beach is 1 min walk and the city is at 10 minutes walk. Most of all, Persa has been a great host, she helped us a lot finding taxis and renting boats. Thank you Persa !

Wonderful villa stunning views

Our family of 6 adults stayed at this villa as my daughter was getting married in Skiathos. From our first meeting with the owner Persa we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her to help us with. The villa was spotlessly clean and a real pleasure to stay in, the location could not have been more perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the fabulous beach where our sun beds were reserved free of charge by Persa every morning. Our family also enjoyed the watersports on offer which Persa and her husband Thannis own. We all had a magical holiday and we cannot wait to return next year, to catch up with dear Persa who we now call a friend. I highly recommend staying at this villa, it really is wonderful Caroline W

Amazing house at the beach

We had a perfect week at Persa and Thanasis house at the beach! The house is very beautiful and spacious with a great terraze. The location is really perfect - 30 mts from the beach and a 10 minutes walk from Skiathos city centre. Persa and Thanasis are very warm and welcoming people who we are very happy to have met. Persa helped us with everything we needed during our stay, and we were picked up at the port when we arrived, and driven to the airport when we left. Since Persa and Thanasis run a water sport centre at the beach, we were given free sunbeds the entire week, and water sport activities at a discounted price. Thanasis also drove us in his boat to an island nearby and picked us up again when we called him. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to go back some day! :)

Perfect Holiday Home

From the time we arrived at the airport & being met by Persa, until our time to leave, everything was perfect! Persa is such a lovely, helpful person, nothing is too much trouble for her to do to make your holiday great. Advising you of places to eat, places to go, helping with supermarket trips. Having reserved front row sun beds on the beach whenever needed was lovely. The house is amazing! Very spacious & homely. The beds were very comfortable. The balcony area with sea view was absolutely perfect. A great place to sit at anytime of the day or night. There was 6 of us in our group & we would have breakfast there, have pre-dinner drinks & night caps on our return, after a night out. The house is really close to the beach & only a short walk away from Skiathos Town. We used public transport, which we found very good. Megali Ammos Watersport team are great, with lots of activities to do to make your holiday memorable. We rented 2 speed boats for a day & after very clear & helpful instructions from Persa, we had a fantastic time & made some great memories. The inflatable sofa was great fun too. There are some good eating places nearby & we found it not too expensive. We were sad when we had to leave, but I am sure we will return again.

Gorgeous!

We spent four wonderful weeks in this nice villa apartment. The location is top notch. Close to everything still calm and quiet. You are on the beach and you can walk to Skiathos town. You can take long walks and you can catch the bus, just minutes from the house. There are plenty of tavernas nearby and small supermarkets just a couple of minutes walk from the house. You don't need a car. The house is clean and very well maintained, Persa looks after the house in the very best way. Every three days we had a clean house, clean beds and clean towels. If we needed something, Persa fixed it at once. You don't have a garden here, but who needs one when you have the beach outside your door step? We spent our outside time at the house on the stunning terrace. The view from there is wonderful. All beds in the house are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The AC worked well and were very quiet. Every day we had our sunbeds on the beach, first row. This is a great service, included in the price. The 20 % discount on the Watersports is great, there is a lot you can enjoy. Parachute, speed rings, waterski, wake board, boat rental... And Thanasis at the Watersports, Persas husband, took us to the islands, Arkos and beautiful Tsougria, and to different beach tavernas. He took us there and came and picked us up when we called for him. A great service and not at all expensive. You have a couple of nice tavernas on the beach, we preferred Thessaloniki, Anemoni, Exantas and Café del Mar. We didn't cook in the house, only breakfasts. Our favourite restaurants in town are The Borzoi and Basilikos. Beach taverna favourites are Kanapitsa and Sklithri. Our hosts, Persa and Thanasis, are the loveliest people. There was nothing they wouldn't do for us. When our grand child was ill, Persa took us to her doctor and to the pharmacy. When my sister left for Athens early in the morning, Thanasis drove her to the airport . They are just wonderful people! They made us feel very welcome, from the pick up at the airport til the drop off at the airport. We went back home with wonderful memories from this stay, and the best memories we got from Persa and Thanasis. They really made us feel at home. They didn't only open their home for us, they opened their hearts. We shared a lot of joy and laughter! We can strongly recommend this rental to anybody and we will be back!

Simply perfect

We've visited Skiathos several times before, staying at different hotels as well as renting a private villa. This time we really hit the jackpot! You cannot find a better location to spend your holiday in Skiathos. You live right on the beach and still Skiathos town is just a short walk away. The layout of the house is very well thought out so there are no "dead" spots which you leave unused. House cleaning is simply the best, absolutely spotless. I guess that you could actually bounce a coin off the perfectly made beds:-) The hospitality of hosts Persefoni, Thanassis and Dimitris is warm and sincere and incomparable to any other I've encountered. You are given extensive information on all important issues regarding your stay at the house. They'll happily give you good tips on nice tavernas and restaurants, places of interest etc. I highly recommend this house and I'll be happy to return for many years to come.

Fabulous villa next to the sea

We were a party of 6 with ages ranging from 15 - 55 and we all had a wonderful holiday at Perse's villa in August 2016. The villa's rooms are light and beautifully decorated all with air conditioning, and the spacious balcony has lovely views over the bay. The villa really is only a minute's walk from the sandy beach on flat ground and 15 minutes walk from Skiathos Town with its lively bars and restaurants. There are very nice tavernas on the beach too for a local meal. Perse is incredibly helpful and generous with her time and the watersports are really good fun. The island and the villa were even better than we had hoped for and we had one of our best holidays ever here and we thoroughly recommend it.

Excellent - the property, location and the owners

This property exceeded our expectations. There were 6 of us - aged 14 to 70+. Perfectly clean with the owner (Persefoni) who cannot do too much to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Persephoni collected us from the airport and took us back for our flight home. What we liked was that the property was very close to the beach and local Tavernas but it was quiet with no troublesome noise. The property was within easy walking distance into Skiathos Town for both daytime or evening visits. There are small friendly supermarkets nearby which can provide for most needs. The local buses provide an excellent service. Take the owner's speedboat to the unoccupied island for a special experience. We are very happy to recommend this property.

Stunning Skiathos villa

We were incredibly well looked after by the owner Perse and her family, who arranged our transfer from the airport, and nothing was too much trouble. The villa is new, spacious and spotlessly clean. The two bedrooms on the top floor open onto a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, our favourite place to sit and relax. It is literally yards from the beach where Perse reserved sunbeds for us free of charge whenever we wanted, although most days we chose to explore the many other lovely beaches of the island, using the cheap buses which run frequently throughout the day. It's only a short walk along the beach past the tavernas to Skiathos town, a perfect location. A highlight of our stay was parasailing with Thanassis, Perse's husband. This is a great place from which to experience Skiathos.
