Hidden Haven: Charmante maison dans la région boisée alpine de Fox Farm! Jacuzzi! Foosball!

Maison construite sur mesure dans un quartier calme et établi, l’atmosphère accueillante de cette maison est chaleureuse et invitante. En entrant dans la propriété, la salle familiale dispose de nombreux sièges pour profiter d’un feu dans la cheminée à gaz.  Il y a une grande télévision à écran plat avec câble et Internet fourni et une table de baby-foot.
La salle à manger, bien que simple, offre de nombreux sièges à la table et au bar. À travers la salle à manger, vous pouvez accéder à la cour entièrement clôturée. À l'arrière, vous trouverez un jardin paysager avec de nombreux coins salons, un bain à remous et un barbecue au propane.

La cuisine comprend de nombreux placards, une cuisinière à gaz / four, un lave-vaisselle et un four micro-ondes, ainsi qu'un four double. La grande surface de comptoir de la maison vous permettra de préparer vos repas dans un excellent espace de préparation.

Au bout du couloir, vous trouverez la première chambre avec un lit queen-size et une télévision à écran plat. Il y a un placard à linge dans le couloir avec une laveuse et une sécheuse. La deuxième chambre se trouve au bout du couloir avec un lit superposé jumeau sur la reine. Il y a aussi des toilettes en taille réelle dans le hall.

Au bout du couloir se trouve la suite Master, avec un lit queen size, un canapé pour se détendre ou lire un bon livre. Il y a une cheminée à gaz et un accès privé au balcon des suites principales.  La salle de bain privée offre une baignoire jacuzzi encastrée.

The cabin was perfect for a long weekend with my family. Very comfortable living room and a nice backyard inclusive of fire pit and hot tub. Bedrooms were large enough and well appointed. The mattresses could use a refresh (too stiff for my liking) but otherwise the property was as advertised and we would definitely come back.

The home is very spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area is great where it was by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Especially appreciated the dog door and fenced in back yard and was able to not worry about them and able for them to run around

Perfect Getaway

This is a great place, it matched the description correctly. My family and I enjoyed our stay a lot, even if there was no snow. The house is great, even if it needs a little bit of renovations, it worked for us. Having that jacuzzi was the perfect way to end the day.We definitely stay there again!

Pause for peace

This was the perfect rental for what our family needed. A beautiful home, nice kitchen with a lot of space for us to enjoy time together and find time for a little solitude. The backyard was great for our small dog to explore while we relaxed in the hot tub or sat by the fire. Fantastic location and we highly recommend!

Bring a sweater!

The house was beautifully maintained in a quiet, peaceful neighbor close to the ski slopes, the village, and all the other activities that Big Bear offers. We took advantage of the hot tub in the backyard and were very appreciative of it. Overall, we had a great stay. My only knock on the place was controlling the temperature inside the house. If we set the thermostat for comfort in the living room, the bedrooms felt like an oven. If we set it for comfort in the bedrooms, the living room was cold. My recommendation would be to bring a sweater or hoodie for an extra layer of warmth. Otherwise, rent the property and have a great time.

Quiet Family Home

Check-in was easy, but communication with Destination Big Bear property management company wasn't great over email - better with calling and getting a response. I would assume this house hadn't been rented in a while because the exterior walkways were dirty, full of pine needles and debris from the trees and leftover salt/snowmelt on the steps leading up to the house. It all needed to be swept - and the broom was broken. They brought another broom & I swept the exterior walkways (front & back). Hot tub wasn't the best kept either - not enough chemicals and the water level was too low. Filled it up w/hose but the spigot was leaking alot, which made it difficult. Interior of home was nice & clean, comfy beds, and enough in kitchen to cook family meals. Dishwasher leaked under kitchen sink, and we noticed the morning we were checking out. Overall the home needs to be maintained better. Property Mgt-Maintenance crew should do a walk-through and check list before renting this home to anyone.

Beautiful home but Prop Mgmnt Co needs to step it up

This would be great in the winter months. There is no AC and it was very hot in the home. Really uncomfortable. Also, the patio furniture should have been wiped down. It was dirty. The backyard needs some trimming and maintenance, overgrown. The mats in the kitchen and dining really need to be replaced. Very old and shabby looking. The mat right outside the slider is old and faded and I just feel that when it begins to look old, need to be replaced. Details like this make a big difference. Cleanliness was decent. Otherwise, the home is beautiful. Also, there are stairs to get to the front door so it's a bit tiresome when lugging groceries and luggage..

Hello Patricia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Only 10% of homes in Big Bear have AC. This home just so happens to be one of the homes that do not have it. We do list this in the description of the home. What we do recommend, due to the majority of the homes not having AC, is opening the windows at night, as well as turning on the ceiling fans, and some of the box fans in homes. We will let the cleaner know to wipe down outdoor furniture more frequently. Weather in Big Bear can be a bit harsh and outdoor items tend to get worn out pretty quickly. Nice, but bare minimum.

The cabin was cleaned, but the tile in the kitchen and baths is just old and could use a deep deep cleaning, or re-grouting. The mats in the bathrooms and kitchen are old and need to be replaced or perhaps washed. The blankets, sheets and bedspreads are — well, bare minimum in quality. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s and this is the first time where no shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, or laundry soap were provided. This would not be so bad if it had been CLEARLY noted in the webpage. For then we would have packed these items. We stayed at this cabin in January between snow storms and the conditions were icy. The driveway is steeper in person than it appears in the photos. A steep icy driveway is both challenging to park on, and walk on especially with groceries and luggage. There is no use of the garage and no entry into the cabin from the inside. If you are traveling during winter months be aware that the outside stairway can be quite icy. There are laminate floors throughout, and I liked not having any wall to wall carpet. The gas fireplace was easy to use and created a cozy feel. The jacuzzi was perfect!

Turkey day stay

Fantastic place to host our family of five for Thanksgiving. Adorable place with plenty of space, cleaned and kitchen well appointed. Beds are the harder foam beds, not out fav but that's personal preference.

Lovely getaway

Located in an upscale, quiet, woodsy neighborhood, the one-story house is exactly as pictured -- spacious living room and dining area, full-sized kitchen with dishwasher, three bedrooms with four beds total, two full bathrooms, including a master en suite bathroom. The couches and beds were very comfortable, and the house overall, stayed cool, probably thanks to the many pine trees shading the property. The nicely landscaped patio/backyard was completely fenced in (for dog safe-keeping). The hot tub was roomy and easy to use. The gas firepit wasn't working, which was our only disappointment. House includes a good selection of board games, lots of TVs with cable connection and a wifi connection. Tips: The coffeemaker is a Keurig, so be prepared to bring or buy their cups. Basic soap is provided, but not shampoo or conditioner.

Hopefully, you were able to see one or two of our amazing sunsets.Big Bear is definitely a place for friendly neighborhoods:). Having a home that is in a good location as well as being clean and cozy sounds like the perfect vacation! If you have informed about the gas firepitduring your stay we definitely send our maintenance team and provide instant help. We are really appreciating you for the patience and bring into our notice so that in the future we could able to improve the service. Each cabin has minimal supplies. Destination Big Bear supplies bath towels, bed linens, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning sponge, and minimal cleaning supplies. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, or shower soap.
