Great place

Clean neighborhood, lots of places to walk,.there is a regular bus that takes you to Friendship Heights metro station. Lots of eating joints and gang out places.

A Great Time

If you want a space to have your pandemic party or gathering, please come over here for your occasion. Shefali was completely nice and attentive to all my needs and my friend’s for our gatherings. My friend and I booked her at different days and we got the same great service. We could rearrange furniture to create our vision for the occasions. The house was spacious and you can design the space anyway you want. (Within in reason) It was very clean. The kitchen was furnished with all the cooking supplies you need. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice as well. She was honest with the space’s abilities and the importance of insurance. She gave me tips about the surrounding stores which has everything you will need for your occasion. The birthday party was an success and everyone loved it. The same result for my friend who booked it as well. I love this spot and I would love to come back for more events. Loved my time there : smooth checking in and smooth checking out . Book her !

Huge misrepresentation and safety issues

my 40th birthday where I was hosting and satin and lace pajama party sleepover so the day of my event upon arrival I was asked by the owner as to wht time will I arrive i told her at 12:30pm she txt me and said well it has to be 2pm I said ok then when I get there at like 230 240 she had stuff on the floor looks like linens of some sort a lil dirty so she asked to give her a few hours and come back around 530 6 I arrive back there I called she said the door is open and my self and event help enter the house we smelled and old smell sprayed then started unpacking to start decorating my food was cooking I headed upstairs to choose wat room I would staying in for the night of the sleep over my door didn't have any knows on either side of the bedroom door the bed linen look stained and old but I brought my own covers and pillow cases and towel piss but as I'm getting dress im getting alot of back to back txt from the owner I glance and seen she said they talk really fast so I assumed she was still there and had met 3 guest but still didn't read the txt she sent so a few other time she came upstate and know it was when are u leaving because upon reservation I ask was the rental a entire rental home she yes yes so I cudnt understand why is she still here so we're like wth do she want to come to the party as the night went on we had set up the downstairs wit balloons and other props to take pictures while we uploading I look at my txt and was floored with disbelief that this lady I've been speaking with who i assumed was so nice was talking bad about my guest i mean insulting and I won't say racist but I feel it was some wat prejudice against my guest it goes as following.... This lot they look like amazonion women - no Nonsense and huge and they talked so fast so have had the college, working women with all these things and then this lot - home cooked food 40th birthday And within the same week the Hispanic 30 plus people all going mad running up and down The birthday lady works in sports management REALIZED SHE SENT ME THOSE TXT BY ACCIDENT SHE WAS SENDING THEM SOMEONE ELSE. Oops!! Ignore the last few texts - was sending them to my family THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR ME I FEEL THAT IN THIS INSTANCE ONCE SHE REALIZED IT DIDNT APOLOGIZE and then she has cameras inside the house wen my guest found out not 1 stay the nite for the sleep ova it was creepy!!! Who acts like this more imagine wat was said that I didn't see

Check in was horrible- half the house updated half isnt

I was celebrating my birthday so i needed to find a house that would allow for events. I found this one which seemed to be very easy on the eye. I booked it and within a day, the listing was deleted for almost 3 weeks i could show anyone how the house looked, pinpoint the location of the home or nothing. 10 days before my arrival (i booked for 3/14) i finally got the address, and about 5 days before i finally was able to see the listing.... fast forward to 3/14 : i was told i could check in at 12, i told her ok... then the time changed to 3... then 5... then 6... then 9... at this point i don’t know what to do because I had my guest come from different parts of the country. They were waiting for somewhere to go before we went to dinner. We also planned to set up the house for my event prior to dinner. Which we didn’t get to do until we got back. ALSO PLEASE READ The listing says entire house, but the owner stays in the basement while you are there. We had no idea, we kept hearing noise & we were almost going to call the cops because we kept hearing unexplained noises. I wasn’t too pleased with my overall experience. I will say this tho— the owner is very nice, just needed to communicate a little better — if the check in was flawless & despite the owner living there i would have given 4 stars... this posting also lost a star because the house needs to be updated. The downstairs area is beautiful!!! But the rooms upstairs need new linen . They looked warn down & not easy on the eye. I know the next guests will get a better check in then i did, so i dont think the next guests will encounter what i did!
