Immaculate. Well stocked kitchen. Ample parking. Great shopping and restaurants. A previous guest mentioned "sketchy" neighborhood. Obviously this person never spent time in a small mountain town. My daughter has lived in Black Mountain for several years and we lived in another local town. It's a very nice area; you just can't think it's going to be like a big city or suburb. That's the beauty of these small towns.
Comfortable rooms, nice kitchen, love the deck off of the bedroom. Neighborhood is quiet and the people we met were friendly. Fenced in yard and fire pit were great. We stayed to see the trolls at the arboretum.
The house was very nice! We loved it!We took our dogs and they loved to run around the yard and explore. The firepit was awesome too.Emily, our host, was a joy to deal with.
My husband and I stayed in this great place for 3 nights and had some friends join us the final night. This house was perfect for our stay. Fully stocked kitchen was great and there was plenty of room all around. The neighborhood felt safe and we walked into town a couple of times. It was about a mile and a lovely walk. Thanks for a great stay!
The town of Black Mountain is so quaint and the people are incredibly nice. So exciting to see things are coming together after the horrific hurricane. Our stay was comfy and we particularly enjoyed having a glass of wine on the upstairs balcony in the evenings.Communication was quick and easy.
Very comfortable home. A great location for families with kids. Easy access to local resources and sites but also a relaxing space if you just want to stay in. Weâll be back!
Emily and Ben were fantastic hosts! Everything was exactly as described. The fenced in the backyard was such a welcomed feature and the dogs loved having a space to roam, sniff, and explore! The bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Overall, such a lovely stay and we canât wait to return for another visit.
Cute little house, well stocked (my young kids really enjoyed finding a few toys/games!), short drive to downtown Black Mountain. I do wish hosts would stop requiring guests to strip beds and collect towels, especially when there's already a pretty hefty cleaning fee. Other than that, this place is great and has everything you need for a small family. Thank you!
Good location about a mile to downtown, and walk to Lake Tomahawk. Generally quiet neighborhood except thereâs a bit of a trailer park just up the hill and I donât think a single car going up or down had a muffler, but they all seemed to own a barking dog. Property is as-advertised, although fireplace wasnât working for my stay (not really needed though). Bed a bit squeaky but comfy enough. This would be a great option for a family as house was kitted out with toys and such for the kids.
Great new build house in an ideal location. Walkable to Montreat, walkable to downtown Black Mountain. Friendly neighbors. Well appointed, clean, kitchen. Second floor deck with mountain view. Fenced back yard, with firepit. This house is one of our favorite Vrbo stays.
