La toute nouvelle cuisine a des planchers de bois franc, des comptoirs en granit, des armoires haut de gamme et des appareils en acier inoxydable. La salle à manger peut accueillir six personnes et donne sur le lagon. July 2020 Stay

We had a wonderful vacation in HHI and loved our villa at 610 Barrington Park! It was clean and well-supplied. The walk to the beach was only about five minutes and the complex pool was close by too. It was a good value for the price.

August 2021 Stay

Unit was OK but not as clean as previous units where we’ve stayed at Hilton Head. Found someone’s underwear beside the washing machine. 4 washcloths provided for a condo that sleeps six. Room layout is OK but light switch placement has no rhyme or reason. Other than water pressure being poor the unit was OK. Purchased food for grill -no grill with unit. Internet uneven at best. Could be that the wrong network in app. Never saw unit 10. Several Barrington 610 only one worked. Yes I could have rebooted but not spending my vacation working on the internet. Island Getaways should be renamed to Island -you-get-an-app. Booking was easy, but after that it’s you and the app. Where booking with owners, they stay at the condo and know that a big shower with a poor showerhead is not enjoyable. No, none of this is horrible, but I paid for a nice room. You’re not doing me a favor, I’m a paying customer.

This is a wonderful location, and we enjoyed easy walks to the beach or on the bike paths. We especially enjoyed riding our bikes The only issues with the unit are poor water pressure in the master bath (particularly the sink) and some cleanliness issues. The door frames had dirty stains which maybe couldn’t be washed but should have been touched up. The rug in living room needs washing or maybe too be replaced.

We were truly disappointed with the rental at 610 Barrington Park. We have been visiting Hilton Head Island for 42 years, renting with Island Getaways for many of those years. We have not been able to visit for the past 2 years due to COVID and were excited to return. We have stayed at Barrington several times before and mistakenly thought 610 Barrington Arms was Oceanside on the 6th floor of Barrington Arms or Barrington Court overlooking the water and the pool. The unit was described as breathtaking and newly renovated. When we called to rent the property we were told that it was very nice. The condo is older, near ocean and was facing the street and at the back of the property. The unit was actually more like a modest motel than an upscale condominium. The mattresses need replacement and the bed linens need upgrading. The TV in the master bedroom is in a cabinet. The doors would not remain open and I had to jury rig the doors using a coat hanger and the handle of a suitcase. The sink in the master bath w

August 2020 Stay

I had booked this room because it was first floor which to me means no steps into the room but there where 4 steps up to the landing/porch and then a huge step up into the room. 3 of the 5 people of my group were disabled with one of them that can hardly walk so the steps were murder on us to get her up and down them just to go somewhere. She stayed inside most of the time because she fell going up the steps several times and was just too hard on her. If no one is disabled in your group then this is a really nice place to stay. The walk to the beach is longer than I expected also. Really nice pool but beware of the hot tub the water is insanely hot and can't even get in it. Oh yeah there are steps going up to the bridge and steps back down to get out on the beach. If you have disabled people in your group all the public beaches are handicap friendly. If you don't have anyone that is disabled then this is a really nice place to stay.

August 2020 Stay

We have stayed in Barrington court before and was very please with our unit. Tried to reserve it again but it was booked during our vacation time. In regards to the location and the outside amenities such as the pool, charcoal grill and location to the beach we were well pleased. On the other hand our unit was not the cleanest place in the world. There was grunge on the floor, dust in the corners and handprints on the tv screen in the living room. We were left with a limited number of towels and we managed to wash them over the week to keep up with clean towels. The main tv in the living room was a stream only tv and after spinning its wheels to get a good connection we gave up. The bedroom tv’s were connected to cable and they worked fine. Hilton Head is a beautiful place with lots to do with the family but we won’t be coming back to this particular unit.

We really had a nice Hilton Head vacation. This place was great . Conveniently located to the beach. I got up early 2 mornings and walked to the beach to watch the sunrise! Be sure to rent a bike there are concrete bike paths everywhere! Highly recommend this villa and Palmetto Dunes!
