Coomb View at Sandbeds, Conversion d'une grange de luxe en zone rurale

Coomb View a été récemment rénové dans un style contemporain pour créer une superbe maison de vacances située en zone rurale dans une ferme de 100 acres. Notre maison de vacances offre la paix et la tranquillité, ce qui est parfait pour une pause détente après une longue journée de visites et d'activités que les parcs nationaux du Lake District et du Yorkshire ont à offrir. Nos clients ont un accès facile aux lacs et aux montagnes, les villes du marché de Kendal et Sedbergh, tous deux offrent de nombreux équipements. Avec seulement 4 miles à la jonction la plus proche des liens de transport M6 pour nos clients vivant dans les villes du Nord et les villes sont très accessibles. Manchester et Liverpool étant à 1 heure 15 minutes en voiture et à 50 minutes en voiture de Scotch Corner sur l'A1 pour le nord-est.
Coomb View offre une cuisine contemporaine à aire ouverte, y compris une cuisine à haute brillance entièrement équipée avec îlot, salle à manger et espace de vie pour quatre invités au premier étage pour profiter des superbes vues rurales. Le salon est meublé avec des canapés en cuir, une table basse et un 50 "TV, DVD et lecteur CD pour le divertissement à la maison de nos invités.

Au rez de chaussée sont deux chambres et une salle de bains familiale. Chaque chambre a accès à un patio extérieur qui bénéficie du soleil du matin. Chambre One est une chambre double et deux peuvent être organisées comme une Kingsize ou une chambre lits jumeaux en fonction de vos besoins individuels. Une position de couchage supplémentaire est disponible si nécessaire sur un canapé-lit dans le salon à l'étage.
Coomb View a accès à un patio privé avec table et chaises pour profiter de la vie en plein air et profiter du ciel nocturne noir sans lueur urbaine orange. Sur le côté de notre conversion de grange est une grande zone de pelouse et de jardin paysager avec parking privé sécurisé pour deux voitures.

Gorgeous country stay

A beautiful property in a glorious area. We stayed here for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could possibly need and really is a home away from home. Communication was excellent. The location was rural, but not too far out of town if you needed supplies or a meal out. Very peaceful location. A well-equipped kitchen. Very good overall.

Peace and tranquillity with a view

The accommodation lived up to expectations in that it offered a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. Clean, peaceful, and private

A perfect spot for those who a crave a cool, dark, and quiet Fall getaway. Peaceful and private, clean and cozy. Lovely owners who you only encounter if you choose to, because they’re respectful of your privacy. Would, without hesitation, stay there again when we need a place that’s in proximity to the Lake District.

Exactly as advertised, clean, modern and a great base for exploring area.

The owners were welcoming and resolved a couple of very minor issues straight away. Would highly recommend a stay here, ideally located for the Lakes. Our only recommendation would be a microwave but there was a very good oven and hob so a very minor point

Wonderful cottage

This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful landscape. We got a warm welcome with lovely homemade bread that was delicious. This cottage is in a row of three, but still very private. If you wish to plan with a larger group you could inquire about the availability of the other two. If we are in the neighborhood, we would definately book again.

Excellent!

Lovely cottage, equipped with everything you could need! The location is wonderful and is perfect for a peaceful relaxing holiday. There are many places to visit and restaurants/cafés in which to eat. A good place for a base as nothing is too far to drive for a day out to enjoy the stunning Lakes/Yorkshire Dales scenery and gorgeous towns. The lovely owners are always available should you have any queries but tactfully remain in the background. All in all - brilliant! Thank you Diane and Brian.

Coomb View

IF you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place to be: wonderful rural setting with sheep as your nearest neighbours! Owners live on the premises but were very respectful of our privacy. Accommodation was clean, cosy and well-equipped. Setting was beautiful and away from tourist areas, albeit with Kendal a short drive away and lakes reachable within 30-45 minutes. Thank you Brian and Diane!

Absolutely loved staying here. The barn is very modern and the decor is a really high standard. Beautiful and cosy. Check in process so easy and welcome package of milk, orange juice, tea/coffee was great. Is he back in a heartbeat!

It's all so quiet..shhh shhh!

This place was literally in a middle of nowhere. At the same time so close to Kendal where we found anything we could think of. Not a sound, not a light in a middle of the night. Apart from sheep just wandering around the teritory :) Spotless clean. Finished by high standarts. Everything was there. From towels to milk. I am sure the hosts would go an extra mile (maybe even 2 or so) to make sure their guests are feeling as comfortable as possible. For my next trip i will have you in my mind, especially if the stakes are high. :) Best of Luck! S&D

Stunning conversion in beautiful surroundings

Coomb View is a fantastic conversion, finished to a high standard. We were mountain biking in the lakes and found it the perfect place to stay. 10 mins drive from Kendal but rural enough to wake up with the sheep!! We are returning in the summer and would recommend to anyone looking to retreat for some peace and quiet in perfect surroundings. Many Thanks Eliot & Charlotte

Lovely place, beautiful scenery!

We loved staying at Coomb View. It is a Nice clean cosy house with beautiful views of the surroundings. The children enjoyed living between the sheep and lambs and playing in the small stream next to the property. Diane and Brian ware very helpfull and kind.

Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house

We were at Lake District and stayed in Coomb View from July 3-July9, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The farm house was beautifully renovated, very modern and have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Brian and Diane are great host. Upon arrival, there were milk, orange juice, bottle of cold water, cookies and tea and coffee already stocked. That was a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated. The surrounding of the farm house is beautiful and peaceful. Many mornings, we woke up to the sound of bleating sheep which we love. It is very easy to get into Kendal which is only 5 miles away and has grocery stories, restaurants etc that are only 10 minutes away. We loved that the house is away from all the hustle bustle of the Lake District tourism but is closed enough that all the hikes and sightseeing are short driving distance. The only thing that we are not quit keen on is the "open shower" where there is no shower door/curtain and the water does splatter half of the bathroom. The tiles are heated so it really is not that big a deal, just not our preference. Wonderful place and definitely will stay here again if we are in Lake District again.

We also enjoy the location and the peace and quiet, we are away from the hustle and bustle of the Lake District yet 7 minutes away from all of this we are in a different world. Kendal does have all the amenities our of all our guests needs. Restaurants, bars, cafes, banks, beauty salons, supermarkets to name a few.

Amazing Location and Stay

We stayed at the cottage 5th-8th may and it was amazing, the weather was perfect and the location is practical, 10 mins away from local village and motorway. We had a warm welcome and the cottage had everything we need to cook at home. We loved this place because it was so peaceful and quiet, we were never disturbed and we we given our privacy, however they were always a knock on the door away from any requests or queries. We give this a 5/5 for everything, we could not fault this stay in any way, there were a few comments about construction but when we stayed, there wasn't any noise apart from the local sheep! We would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Coomb View offers everything in a stunning location. Something we have never tired off or taken for granted !

The area and scenery is amazing and we feel very fortunate to be able to live and work here !! The surrounding area and its abundance of attractions and activities will appeal to families, couples, walkers and cyclists.

The M6 motorway is very accessible and Rail and Transport Links are excellent.
