Navet House est une pierre traditionnelle construite Cumbrian Bank Grange convertie Ă  la norme la plus Ă©levĂ©e et la finition. Le vrai luxe pour un week-end romantique ou des vacances reposantes. Une multitude de intĂ©ressant marche de la porte et un pub traditionnel Ă  cinq minutes dans le centre du village. Un vĂ©ritable chalet loin de tout ce chalet avec toutes les installations dont vous avez besoin pour une pause parfaite, haut-parleurs Bluetooth pour votre musique, haut dĂ©bit gratuit Ă  80 Mo, baignoire sabot, douche double, chauffage par le sol dans la salle de bain. La chambre dispose d'une baignoire sabot, le chĂȘne est le bois de choix et les planchers de chĂȘne exposĂ©s amĂ©liorer le design intĂ©rieur contemporain. Les visiteurs reviennent encore et encore, certains utilisant comme leur «place spĂ©ciale» pour une lune de miel. IdĂ©alement situĂ© pour visiter tous les nords des merveilles de la nature, les lacs, les Yorkshire Dales, du Nord Pennines ainsi que la muraille romaine, la cathĂ©drale de Durham, MusĂ©e Bowes, York Minster.

Gorgeous

Really nice stay here in great Asby. Cottage was cosy and perfect. Only marked down on cleanliness due to dust and cobwebs on top of glass shade in bedroom. Bed sheets didn’t smell fresh, however I put that down to maybe not changed in a while due to no one staying since new year. Or since they were last changed. Would 100% stay again. Village pub was fabulous and Stephen was very welcoming.

A beautiful place to stay

We stayed for four nights in Turnip House and absolutely loved it. The place is warm and inviting and the slipper bath at the back of the bedroom made it for me!! A bonus is the house is situated on the edge of a lovely village. Our two collies were completely at home in the large enclosed garden and didn't even feel the urge to chase the chickens. It was just lovely. Our hosts made sure we were happy. We couldn't have asked for more.

Gorgeous quiet locale

Very modern home is an idyllic setting. Great for quiet relaxation and proximity to both the Dales and Lake District. The how was very engaging.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Turnip house. Stunning, clean, and peaceful. Stephen was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. We had everything we could possibly need and more. Will definitely be back.

Holiday in July!

All of our stay was very good, from Stephen, the host, to the friendly chickens and collie dogs! A wee problem, Stephen sorted out as quickly as he could. The property was very clean, and comfortable. We hope to return some day!

Idyllic Getaway

Gorgeous cosy cottage in a perfect location. Everything was just perfect and all covid precautions are in place. Steve provided lots of local information which included some excellent walks from the doorstep. One of the best cottages we have stayed in and would definately recommend.

Perfect little cottage

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Turnip House. Tucked away in a rural village, the perfect “get away from it all” location. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great communication from the hosts Stephen and Debbie leading up to our stay and to check everything was satisfactory once we arrived. They also provided an excellent most comprehensive Welcome pack. Would highly recommend to others, we will definitely return!

Idyllic cottage

This was our 1st visit to the area and Stephen was extremely helpful in suggesting places we could visit with our two dogs. The pictures really don’t do Turnip Cottage justice, its more spacious than it looks and so much prettier.

Perfect rural, charming, well-placed, cosy getaway

This place is under excellent management, spotless and in a fantastic location for exploring the gorgeous Eden Valley, the Yorkshire Dales, the Northern Pennines and entire Lake District. The cottage has everything you could need to self-cater for your stay comfortably and our two dogs felt very welcome too. The fireplace makes the cottage even cosier, but is not needed because the cottage has central heating and insulation which work perfectly well. Steve and Debbie are very welcoming and easy to communicate with. They will can provide much valuable info on the local area, best pubs, walks, shops etc., but will be completely invisible if you do not wish to make use of their knowledge etc. The village pub in Great Asby is a five minute walk from the cottage and was great, served good pub grub too. Many walks are accessible from the cottage with very little road walking involved. Lots of pretty views around the property and you can watch the stars and planets from the king size bed via the big skylight- there is no air and no light pollution. We will most certainly visit again and can highly recommend Turnip House.

Turnip House

Beautiful cottage with all the creature comforts, nothing has been forgotten including washing liquid, dw tablets, a sponge and jay cloth(all the things you forget on a self catering holiday). The kitchen is well appointed, the living room is cosy especially with the fire. The bath is very relaxing and a nice touch. Steve couldnt have been more welcoming. The village pub is a 5 minute walk and well worth a visit(but shut on Mondays). There are lots of public footpaths near by for some rambling, and Rutter Falls is also a nearby beauty spot! At Turnip House be prepared to make friends with your new neighbours, the very friendly flock of hens! We had a lovely relaxing few days and will hopefully be back at some point in the future.

Lovely location

Really straightforward. Owner very helpful and gave lots of info - from directions to the property to where to visit. Lovely little cottage in lovely surroundings. Remote so a car essential but would go back.

Midweek break

Despite some rainy weather, we had a lovely time at Turnip House. The accommodation is lovely and Steve was there to meet us and show us everything. It was great to have someone so friendly on hand to ask questions about the local area. Lots of good walks on the doorstep and a great local pub too! Would definitely recommend!

Great Place

Fantastic little break away in a beautiful Place. Done up to a really good spec and set in a sleepy little village, with excellent village pub nearby. Great hosts and would highly recommend Looking forward to going back in August
