Sitting on the side of the mountain in downtown Helen, this cozy little cabin for two is the perfect getaway rental.

Snuggle up on the sofa, turn up the gas logs and find your favorite television show. The loft bedroom is perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Melt away tension in the downstairs bath with both a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi tub. The fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of cooking all your meals in the holiday home. There is a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience. The outdoor electric grill heats quickly for dinners on the barbeque. Relax and unwind in the new hot tub on the front covered deck. Should you decide to venture out, you are in downtown Helen within a blink of an eye!

• Minimum Age Requirement: Alpine Creek is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The roads are paved up to the cabin. The driveway is short and steep. Low profile sports vehicles not recommended.
• Pets: Alpine Creek is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: In downtown Helen.

Perfect cabin for an anniversary weekend! Exactly as advertised. Very cozy! Close to food and shopping and the hot tub was a nice spot to unwind and relax.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alpine Creek is a small cozy cabin just a couple minutes from Helen. While it is not a new cabin, it is clean and comfortable. There are other cabins nearby, but the deck is private and the area peaceful. The rain on the metal roof as we fell asleep was the coziest. The hot tub was very clean. There are stairs up to the loft bedroom. The sofa was comfortable to watch a movie. It was perfect for a two person getaway. Sherry at the management company checked in with us to make sure all was well the morning following our arrival. The road leading to the cabin and the driveway are steep, but we navigated fine and they would not deter us from staying again. Nice stay!

Nice Cabin for Younger Couple!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice cabin for a couple. Upstairs bedroom (loft)was nice but running downstairs to bath was a bit inconvenient. Bath fan did not work and small water heater but overall a nice place. I would recommend to a younger couple but us older people need a bath on same floor. Very close to town and we enjoyed the short trips. Steep drive so be prepared.

Loved the hot tub and the location is incredible, being so close to Helen. A less than 2 minute drive to Helen attractions. We found ourselves in need of salt and pepper, and I was surprised that it wasn't there. The kitchen is very minimal if you plan to do cooking. But we made it work. Loved sleeping in the loft and waking up to beautiful sunrises. Would definitely stay again (just prepared to bring more supplies for the kitchen).

I was so looking forward to staying at this cabin, but was a bit disappointed with a couples things. First off, it was pretty obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was dust on every surface, the utensils and pans were still dirty, there was what felt like sand in the sheets, hair in the shower, etc. In addition, and the most disappointing was the jetted tub. The hot water doesn’t even last long enough to fill half of it. Making it just about as good as a tiny apartment tub. We were really looking forward to a proper bath since we don’t have tubs, but only showers at home. It is really only good for those who want a very cold bath. Thank goodness the hot tub worked, but since it was so hot that weekend we used it very minimal. It’s obvious they are trying to sell the place and just aren’t taking care of it in between bookings. Pros are the location, privacy, communication, and it would actually be a really great romantic getaway if it was clean and the tub was able to fill with warm water.

The place as beautiful and was exactly what we wanted for our 30th Anniversary. The spa was a huge plus! The "only" downside was the driveway. I have a big truck and was steep and tight. We made it work, overall great place!!
