We spent a week at this split-level ranch in Tucker and it delivered exactly what we were hoping to find. Plenty of room and that easy kind of comfort you don’t find everywhere. Excellent host, house was stocked with snacks and even some drinks in the fridge, that was a sweet unexpected surprise. The house radiated with joy and love from the moment we entered. The house has a classic seventies layout. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all on one end and there are steps or stairs to each, so wheelchair would be tricky maybe impossible. We loved the way the skylights brighten everything up, and the back porch is the real standout. It runs nearly the full length of the house, with half enclosed as a sunroom and half open to the yard, so everyone can find their spot whether they want shade, sun, or a breeze. The yard is well established with mature trees, generous amount of thick bushes and is the perfect setting for morning coffee, evening chats, or a little shade when you need it.It’s the kind of place where kids can run around, adults can linger, and time doesn’t push you along. We had a small family get-together and it worked perfectly, plenty of room to spread out, but still felt connected. If you’re looking for a peaceful, low-key place to gather, relax, and actually enjoy the people you’re with, this spot makes it easy.
