Bienvenue dans les belles Black Hills!


Que ce soit votre première fois dans la région ou votre 100e, la région des Black Hills offre toujours des choses nouvelles et passionnantes. PAMS Getaways est l'une des «nouvelles» choses. Un camping familial local qui offre des cabines de luxe et des sites de camping-car.


Notre cabine de luxe offre une cuisine complète, avec réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et cuisinière. Avec une salle de bain complète, avec vanité, toilettes et douche dans chaque cabine. Toutes les cabines disposent d'une télévision, d'un lecteur Blu-Ray et d'une connexion Wi-Fi. Et pour nos amis les voitures électriques, une prise de voiture électrique de 50/20 ampères juste devant la porte de la cabine!

Comme nous sommes situés à quelques minutes de Custer City, il est parfait pour ceux qui ne veulent pas être dans les limites de la ville. L'accès au sentier historique George S Mickelson (laissez-passer requis) et à l'aéroport du comté de Custer est juste au coin de la rue.


PAMS est parfaitement situé sur l'autoroute US 385 entre le parc national de Wind Cave au sud (environ 18 miles), le parc d'État de Custer à l'est (environ 9 miles), le Jewel Cave National Monument à l'ouest (environ 15 miles) et bien sûr, le tristement célèbre monument national du mont Rushmore (environ 23 miles) et le Crazy Horse Memorial (environ 9 miles) tous deux au nord.

My teenagers absolutely loved the loft area to this place . They talked about it in a couple conversations even post vacation. The host was super easy to contact as we had communication on three differant occasions always prompt to answer.very close to Custer and all its restaurants and pretty close to all the cool things in the southern black hills Great place would definitely stay here again

Had fun at the Hideaway !!

Housing itself was great for 4 of us. The only thing that kind of startled us when we arrived was that several older independent campers were all around our beautiful cabin. Paul did explain to me that changes in other campgrounds had caused his campground to overflow - sounded reasonable !! Paul was very easy to visit with and had just became a new daddy; again ! We would stay there again, and the prices were within reason !!

We loved our little cabin for the 3 nights we stayed! Paul the host was very kind and helpful. Perfect location for day trips to Custer, wind cave, jewel cave, mt Rushmore. It’s hard to find a place that fits a family of 5, our kids loved the loft. Highly recommend

Cute little place. Liked the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom upstairs was a challenge with the low ceiling and ladder. Bed was comfortable. Suggest maybe replacing the metal bench with a small sofa or love seat. Bench was hard to sit on. Owner was friendly and responsive to our need for towels and such. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Just what we needed

This cabin was the perfect for our long days out hiking and exploring. The kitchen is very roomy and allowed us plenty of space to prepared the majority of our meals. The cabin was a great refuge in the evenings; the beds were comfortable and the water heater was outstanding!

Everything about renting this property was easy. Can sleep 6, but there were only 3 of us. Perfect place to come back to after a long day of hiking.

Clean “cabin” near Custer

We were spending a few days exploring Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park. This place was perfect for what we needed; a place to sleep, shower, and make our meals. The kids loved the upstairs loft area. Property was quiet and not too far from town. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an updated, clean, and no-frills place to stay near Custer; if we ever return to the area for future trips, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Nice cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean. The stairs to the loft were a bit to get used to but my kids didnt have any problems. It has dishes, glasses, cups, and pots and pans. Could of used more towels, but we made due. I didnt ask for more, so that's on me. Beds were comfortable. Could not get the AC to switch oer to "cool" mode. Didnt get terribly hot in the cabin with the windows open and fan on. The outside is right next to a RV park that looks to be long term stay. The people i spoke with at the RV site were super friendly. Would stay here again.

If Not For Location

Upon arrival our initial reaction was somewhat disturbing in that the cabins appear to be part of what can be described as a less than maintained small RV park. However the owner was very friendly and accommodating and our cabin very clean and as described. One issue while walking my small dog on a lease I was as approached by an unleased Great Dane type dog and as our dog is very cautionary around larger dogs I tried to pick my dog up. Before doing so the larger dog was at my feet and immediately atop my dog having her pinned down with its opened mouth around her neck. I yelled for the owner but had to shoved the larger dog off to the side and pickup my dog. Luckily my dog did not incur and bits.

Paul grew up in the beautiful Black Hills and has lived here his whole life, and once Tiffany saw the light and moved west, she has fallen in love with the area (and Paul) as well! Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Frenchy's Hideaways (formerly PAMS Getaways) is perfectly situated on US Hwy 385 between Wind Cave National Park to the South (approx. 18 miles), Custer State Park to the East (approx. 9 miles), Jewel Cave National Monument to the West (approx. 15 miles) and of course the infamous Mount Rushmore National Monument (approx. 23 miles) and Crazy Horse Memorial (approx. 9 miles) both to the North.

Since we are located just minutes from Custer City, it is perfect for those not wanting to be in city limits. Access to the historical George S Mickelson trail (pass required) and the Custer County Airport is just around the corner.
